Many Indian teenagers are not interested in reading Vedas, upnishad or Bhagwat Gita, instead they mock their heritage..People are still unaware, it's good foreigners are interested...If u could share that what u learnt from upnishad it would be very helpful especially to those unaware people, because now u r on a stage where u have got audience people listen n watch u.

I learnt about Gautam Buddha in my class 6th, 7th & 8th. We also had full chapter on Buddhism & it's teaching in our history books. When we talk about an ancient Indian, then Nepal was the part of India. & Especially it was the part of Bihar state.
Actually Buddhism is the refined form of Hinduism. Being a Hindu I also love Buddhism. If I born again then I would like to born into a buddhist family. If someone tell me to adopt Islam/Christianity as my religion even when I am on the brink of death or my face is kept on the edge of the sword , I would adopt Buddhism instead of choosing such type of cruel(Islam & Christianity) religion.

I really am moved by the extent of your knowledge and yet you are humble about it (and rightly so because knowing all there is to know about the cycle of life and death, about karma and about salvation requires a lifetime of devotion and meditation).
Your taking the initiative is something that many of us never think of doing. We are thrilled to know you - one world citizen reaching out to another. It is a beautiful feeling. Thank you for taking the first step.

I feel really proud to see the countries that have been influenced positively by our culture. No matter what religion we follow we all grow up learning about each other's traditions & practices.

Dude, Vedas are manuals of life, 4 Vedas, 4th Veda also contains mystical staffs. But I found it very hard to understand and 'to the point', not useful for normal people and not descriptive. It's like Ramanujan's notebook, indecipherable. So ancient monks who understood it explained with some descriptions in Vedanta. But it was also hard so later generation monks explained them more and wrote Upnishadas. Later they were explained more and took the form of Puranas which are very easy to understand.
Also you can read Yugas, cycle of time. Reincarnation of Vishnu. Ramayana and Mahabharata. Long story short, in Mahabharata when great warrior Arjuna was not able to focus as he had to fight against his cousins, then Krishna the avatar of lord Vishnu stopped the time and gave Arjuna a crash course on Vedas in his own words. This part of Mahabharata is famously known as Bhagbat GITA.
So you can start from GITA, and enhance your level as per your confidence.
Also, meditation (spirituality) is powerful tool for knowing yourself and it's a one way journey; you will eventually be able to control your feelings. So it must be guided meditation; search for a proper guru (which is very uncommon). One suggestion, Before you start your spiritual journey Visit India once. Visit Varanasi, Himalayas, 4 dhams as many spiritual place possible. In a minimum budget; try to find food in religious places; do not buy. Experience is the best teacher.

@prasenjit suklabaidya Yes BRO there was Nepal, the only thing is it was seperated into different kingdoms. And there was no 'Hindustan". It was called bharatbarsha, presently known as Indian sub- continent. At that time "Lumbini" was a kingdom of Nepal, which is a district in present Nepal. But here he says Lord Buddha was born in Northeast India, which is totally wrong. And see the video again, he has deleted that part as he might have had realized that it was a great mistake.

And also Prince Siddartha was born in Lumbini, Nepal and later went to Bodhgaya and he earned Buddhatwa and got enlightenet becoming became Lord Gautam Buddha. The olny thing is where Buddha was born and where he got enlightened, both must be mentioned whine talking about Lord Buddha.
