Giving people blessing on one hand while condemning people using birth control on the other in countries with too many starving children and lack of social services already. I think that the best moments of understanding were when Stewart called O'Reilly out for viewing the "folks" at his rallies as dollar signs and for dishonestly implying that those rallies were for charity. Stewart has given O'Reilly credit for "coming by his opinions honestly" or something like that, but the most honest guy on Fox News pretends he's a blue collar guy when he gets a fucking limo in from his suburban mansion every day

By saying, “you’re making charity hand over fist” John is implying that Bill is not there for charity or to be with the people but there to make money by selling tickets, books, etc. John also does the hand gesture of counting money. Pretty clever in my opinion.

O'Reilly was a snotty, rich kid who lived in Levittown, NY. O'Reilly is the dictionary definition of elitist.

It was mainly just O’Reilly weakly deflecting Jon’s jabs or completely disregarding them because he didn’t know how to respond. Clearly O’Reilly was outmatched but he made it interesting by not crumbling to any of the insults and taking them lightly

This is the talk show host equivalent of Ali and Frazier, with Jon Stewart being Ali. Both are formidable, but Jon Stewart’s retort speed and composure under Bill O’Reilly’s jabs and hook punched is insane.
I think the thing that makes these so good is that O’Reilly knows that his “man of the people” aura is a character and not his true self, and since Jon is so clever at pointing out the facade, Bill can’t help but chuckle at some of the truths. The whole segment almost feels like an inside joke
