It was mainly just O’Reilly weakly deflecting Jon’s jabs or completely disregarding them because he didn’t know how to respond. Clearly O’Reilly was outmatched but he made it interesting by not crumbling to any of the insults and taking them lightly
O'Reilly loves to claim that he grew up "working class" because he lived in Levittown, NY and his dad made $35,000.00 a year in the Sixties. My dad is from North Philadelphia, born in 1949, and then my grandparents moved to Levittown, NJ(now Willingboro) in 1960. My grandparents didn't complete high school and didn't get their high school diplomas until the late 1950s. Pop-pop worked for the Department of the Army and my Mom-mom worked in the corporate headquarters of Acme Markets and their combined income was less than $10K a year in the Sixties.
