Paraphrased: "Sometimes the universe seems so complicated that nothing appears to be wholly good or bad; everything seems to be a shade of grey. And then you spend some time with a man like Dick Cheney, and you realize, that there is such a thing as truly evil."

This is one of the best John Stewart performances, and against one of John 's greatest mortal enemies, and in John's eleventh hour as Daily Show host and trail blazer of an entire genre. Who could ask for more ?
Thanks for the laughs and have fun with quality family time and many new projects! Mensch!

A fake films said it well. But John could still hv those things, if he just graced us with his incredible genre of comedy atleast once a week. Humanity needs more of this not less. They could call it "The Day Show" drum drum snare. Atleast pass the tourch to somone that'll keep the original show going. I'm like really really sad to consider the double wammy with first Colbert & now his counter part. The balloon signifies the situation well yeah John &his fam are happy but millions will miss him. Hope we rise to the occasion to give him a break without loosing what he gave us. I mean we all gotta work together since we can't just end the show. & I suspect he'll still be with us occasionally to mk a point and help out like he always has& of course laugh.

He did it for us, and if not in the face of the insane then from a media that achieved far greater results then me alone in my living room. & he did it with humor to point out what all the sane people are thinking. Fool you ain't a sith try rearranging the letters ya shit

Fun fact about Halliburton: there is a character in Star Wars the Clone Wars named Halle Burtoni, who is an extremely corrupt, caniving, and warmongering senator. Sound familiar? Coincidence? I think not!

Man, Jon is the greatest. I love all these old sketches and also love how boring politics was back then. Cheney didn't seem like a complete ass clown like all them are today.
