What bugs me, is that the media is questioning where the outrage is, but as soon as the crowd starts to outrage, they ask them to calm them, and why they are outraging.

My favorite small detail about this show is the stuff Stewart obviously wasn't in control of. The graphics are almost always just as surprising to him as they are for the audience. Politics aside I really miss Stewart. There are like 15 versions of this show now and while I don't have a problem with any one particular host it's just tedious echoing. Whether you have the moral (highground, right, accurate, honest, etc...) points on any story it is mind numbing when the same position and jokes are made about everything. I get it. Move on to the informing. "What can you give the world that you know is missing" is what I think of about most shows/movies. Stewart did that in a period of turmoil when few others were and nobody quite did it like him (originally before colbert who was also great). Now it's just unnecessary. We've already got someone criticizing America's circus show.
Corrections, doesn't much address the American political circus, but makes humor.
That Benghazi event was tragic, really, but where is the outrage for all the Americans who have died at the hands of other Americans who open fire in public places and terrorize innocent people at movie theaters, and schools? Where is the call to action to prevent heinous actions like these? I'm pretty sure that more than 4 Americans have died and/or been injured in this way.

The only reason that things might not be to much better today is bc of the Supreme Court's ruling on Citizen's United, which Obama took no stance on. If that ruling is ever going to be overturned, then, we'll need a Constitutional Amendment and those are extremely hard to come by.

From what I understand, Obama didn't voice any opposition whatsoever to the Supreme Courts ruling on Citizen's United. Amongst a few other things that he has (not) done, that I disagree with, up to & including things that I & many others believe is flat-out terrible for almost everyone, in particularly America, such as his support for illegal immigration, etc., he hasn't done the miraculous job of being the awesome POTUS that a lot of ppl dreamed that he would be.
