  • This 2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ was getting a lean code across all cylinders p0171 and P0174. The suspect was the fuel pump not keeping the correct pressure. I opt to use the Bosch pump because it it was was OE from Jeep. It can be found here:

    The fuel pump corrected the issue and the customer passed emissions with no issue.

      Thanks for watching. I hope it's as simple as a fuel pump swap.

    Hi...can you put the fuel pump fuel line onto the hard line without having to remove the tank ?

    • @FMJeeping
      @FMJeeping  5 дней назад +1

      @@nordland2235 you could. You might what to see if there is a flare or something to prevent the hose and clamp from coming off. If not, you could run it. Maybe double up on the clamps on both sides. But I would suggest getting the actual replacement for the long term.

      @@nordland2235 I believe most times companies have some type of a flexible line between the hard line on the frame and the fuel pump. I can't remember if there was a Teflon line that span that Gap. I think you might need something like this. www.ebay.com/itm/335452324899?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=iQ89BPiRQKK&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=PaFUXHNfQJm&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
      It looks to be about a foot and a half long. It's a flexible hose that has the fittings for both ends.

      Sorry. It is a how to video. I try to verbalize and show as much as I can so people understand the job. Appreciate the feedback though.
