Since this video was released, a lot of bugs and issues with this system have been patched, and I've made a newer and better guide on this subject for you to find if you scroll up to my more recent video!
Small tip: if you click on the “i” button and then options, there’s a setting called “Numerical Slider Inputs” which allows you to set the position without fiddling around with the slider.
You are correct! I'm just a bit old fashioned so I don't tend to use it (unless I'm gunning to glitch it out to remove or twist a bodypart beyond what HF wants you to do, but that's something else altogether)
Thanks for the tips, the weapon combination is something that I've explored with little to nothing so far, and I still remember being stunned by the hair combination when I saw the Dracula video. I don't know if you will like the idea, but one thing I would like to see is you taking models from other peoplel and saying what you would do differently in them, not necessarily "improving" them, but just showing what you would do, and also more videos of you making characters from scratch like Sivica and Dracula, regardless of whether they are your original characters or not
That's a very good point, and I have been contemplating doing so as well. What I would do is most likely something along the lines of; 'Give me three models to update' and out of the batch I get I'll just take a RNGenerator to select 3 and then have a look at them / make a video out of what I would do. As for 'from scratch' videos - I will get around to doing more of them when I start running lower on things to make direct guide videos of, but right now I think demand is higher for the more straightforward educational stuff, just judging by what people have responded the best to thus far.
@@Mr.G7777 Regarding this request - check out the latest video I dropped 'Heroforge Rookie Mistakes', and there'll be an opportunity to have one of your models potentially featured
As big of a compliment as that is (ty ty ty), Heroforge is still not quite the same as something like art. It's still a program created by someone else, so accepting money to use what is essentially someone else's service can probably be perceived as quite sketchy, and I'm not even sure it's allowed. HOWEVER - I have some plans of accepting a few models from a couple of subs in the near future (will go over it in the next video I drop), and then make a video about my update/overhaul and go over what I would have done differently
@@Derfholm I understand. Maybe I should have worded it more carefully. Something along the lines of tipping you for your time, haha. Ok then. Do you mind if I link your youtube channel and display it on my channel for my friends to easily find you?
What is the goal here? Are you ordering prints or these models? Does using two models interfere with the printing or pricing? Or are you just creating models to have a 3d rendering of a character, or for references etc.?
The answer to that would probably vary on which person in the HF community you asked. Personally I don't do this to order prints, but rather because I do a lot of writing and world-building and this allows me to visualize characters that're otherwise just stuck in my brain
Have you tried printing overlapped minis, or know if it will print properly. I'm considering purchasing an overlapped mini I've made with Heroforge, but have no experience with 3d printing.
As far as I know, it looks just as fine as it does digitally, but will cost you double the price- However, you should ask a guy in my discord called "Scourch" (currently Scourchmas Tree) - he has done it, and he'll know exactly how it works

It's nightmare of tweek! Fantastic I love a bit of model tweek. It's like old milleput & needle file work but without all the finger stabbing!
I never knew you could do this to add more detailing to things
I really like when you upgrade subsriber models, awesome job! Just got pro and you are making me get my money's worth (:

The Robespierre approves was such a random but funny thing
Bring forth the guillotines
Learned a lot from this. Do you have plans on taking requests? Maybe do commisions?

Cool stuff bro! 10/10

how does this work when you purchase the mini? do you pay 2 models (and of course do they print this?)
I'm not actually sure, I haven't tried to purchase a 2-model one, but I assume you pay the price of two models unfortunately
Is it possible to do this exploit with XL bases?
Great video
I dunno why its not a feature to layer models.
should probably mention that adding the second model doubles the price due to complexity
Sadly it seems they removed the Beta
