I'd like to play the extra content but I've already paid £50 for the game. Games are becoming very expensive these days if you want to play all the content.
Monsterist76 I feel you brother. It's literally $80-$110 just to get all the content in the game now a days. I only buy season pass if I actually enjoy the game. Last season pass i bought & actually enjoyed was black ops 3.

@@oddishuseasons passes piss me off. On one I loved and I don’t know it it was season pass or multiple expansions. I think it was bit of both anyways , that was destiny but because of the weekly rest, the spcial linked weapons, tied to raids etc, all events x 3 characters, left me exhausted and utterly addicted and while it was best fun I had with friends, all be it Ps plus and randoms, it was best gaming experience of my life. Just pure fun
Anyway, your point about only buying season pass of games you really like and I’m sure like me, you bought the season pass because you was loving the game and by time you finish base game and possibly get platinum, you don’t even want to play the dlc you bought before you even finished the game and knew you deff want to play
Then you get the other situation that I’m in now, resident evil 7 season pass is on sale at about £10 reduced from £25 and I’ve only played a tiny amount of the actual game.
I have few options
Rush the whole game before sale ends to see if I still want to play dlc
Just buy it and maybe not even play
Or just leave it altogether
Just give me the full game on day 1 and I don’t want an option to buy base game for £60, deluxe edition for £75 or the best possible (value bundle) , The outer galactic super duper ULTIMATE edition
Personally I love buying the outer galactic version mostly because usually you get 1 healing potion for free and you don’t actually start the game with 1 of those special healing potions. You usually have to find craft or buy them.
I’m super hard in game and don’t even need healing potions but I just think it’s that FOMO effect. (Fear of missing out) and that value is incredible vr I get all this content for only £120 and if I bought it individually, I’d have to re mortgage my home.
If that isn’t value, I don’t know what is.
I miss the days where you had secrets to find that unlocked new game modes or weapons for new game plus. Games now day lack that and even lack proper color pallets

Thanks for posting. Nightmare tape appeals to me so may well pick this up soon. The main game exceeded my expectations. DLC is literally a take it or leave it option and Capcom will be included free DLC in the Spring anyway. Add to that the vr support on the ps4 and they've done a solid job rebooting a much loved franchise that had lost its way.
I've been wondering if theres was any new story content in this DLC for a while thanks for the answer. You should do another video for the content in Volume 2.

the timing is suspect (suggesting they were cut to make dlc) but would these have disrupted the flow of the main game?
all the other vhs tapes served as forewarning for Ethan and taught him how to survive the challenge of the bakers.

I just got the season pass, but I only got 2 out of the 3 tapes In both vol. 1 & 2 . the last tapes "Ethan must die" and "jacks 55th birthday" wasn't there. Any one else have that problem? Any help would be appreciated. I got it on the PS4 btw.
I know this was 4 years ago but any chance you know how to fix it. I bought the season pass and got none of the dlc.

The standard edition is about $20
So are the DLCs worth $10 ?
I know this is 3 years later lol but they’re selling the game + the season pass for the dlc for $15.00. They’re also selling a bundle with resident evil biohazard with all the dlc and resident evil village with all the DLC for $51.00

Here are my thoughts on Banned Footage Vol 1, which launched on the PS4 this week as DLC for Resident Evil 7. There's also tons of gameplay from all three of the new modes.

not buying that shit. not worth an extra 30 bucks. was a good game but not allot of replayability. plus can't skip cut scenes. unlocked everything and beat mad house mode withing 2 days off release. the dlcs should have been included. I'm done with resident evil bc of the cash grab tactics they have more assumed
Depends on a persons finances. I budget at least $1500 a month for gaming on Playstation, Steam, Switch, Nintendo, Gameboy and PC. Got a big family.

Stuart Corps Pfft the game is awesome be thankful for that. They created a whole new engine for it which brings the best psVR thus far. Not only that, but it's a solid game and has lots of classic resident evil feel to it.
+BurnGreenGaming i know i've beat it twice, the game is great just slightly short because of the cut content. We are getting ripped off with dlc.
I didnt find ethan must die too hard, I died alot but more trail and error rather than just plain too hard. Personally my favorite DLC. the others are good though. Shame its typical capcom again, money money money.

When people cry about dlc that should be included and claim it was stripped of the game need to realize that would be like going to a dealership and wanting the fully loaded vehicle for the price of the cheaper features model because it was stripped of extra features. Yeah, that's how this works. The game was complete, the dlc is bonus content for people who purchase it, benefit..... how is that wrong just because people wanted it included? Of course people will always say it should be in the game. I am glad that some solid dlc has come out and feels worth it.... I bought the deluxe edition for a reason.
BurnGreenGaming I somewhat agree with what you're saying but if you look at resident evil 4. If it were released today they probably would have made the separate ways, assignment ada, and mercenaries all dlc. Alot of people would probably not want to pay extra money for it and they feel the same way about this dlc.
