One of the best videos I’ve seen. No awful music. No “look at how good I am”.
Just pure skill and craftsmanship with beautiful products at the end.
An absolute pleasure to watch. I can only hope that I’ll be turning this well eventually.

Outstanding work my friend! Once again, I am in complete awe. There's a very special place in my heart for ambrosia silver maple. It's right up there with spalted birch. One day I will get my hands on some spalted ambrosia! Take good care, Mr. Humphrey.

Not bad for one log at all! I very much appreciate that, when someone sends you a piece of wood, you take your time and study it before deciding how you can best put it to use.. so you can make as many beautiful and useful things out of it as possible. That level of thoughtfulness, the understanding of and respect for the raw materials that nature provides to me seems like a rare thing in today's world!
