Very well done, Oliver!
Amazingly beautiful!
Thats awesome Oliver. Thanks for posting. :)
Wow; what a beautiful shop! I could make anything in there! Just this weekend, I was turning a big 6x6x36 piece of mahogany into a replacement front porch roof finial, and a drop. I've been using my great cheapo old lathe for over 40 years. I've done all kinds of woodwork, but the lathe is still the coolest tool!
Dave H yes, I’ve been drooling over his shop for a while .... I could easily lose all my fingers there in an afternoon.
Fabulous bowls. Thank you for sharing 🌞🌞🌞
Great work!
Wonderful works!!!!! Hello from Los Angeles, I truly enjoy your videos!
Great skills. Love your shop
Only silly, immature or very jealous people would dislike a video like this one..or kids. You are more than a craftsman. You are gifted that's for certain.
Great job. Nice work!
Thanks for sharing.
I'm old so bear with me here.
I learned much in 17 years from a Master Craftsman from Denmark and he saw me rapping the tool rest to clear the chips from my (his) gouge and said to me. "Never do that again."
Being full of questions & eager to learn, (I still am today) I asked why.
He said what has stuck with me now for the rest of my days, I'm retired now.
"Every dig, scratch, dimple or wave in a tool rest, reflects your inability to respect your tools and your work."
It was hard to hear that from him as I always left an area I worked in cleaner than I found it and I respected his lifetime of teaching his trades to others.
I spent the rest of the hour that day bringing to a polished surface that tool rest and gouge.
Sometimes the simplest things make the difference between a Master's work and novice's work.
I'm still learning those differences.
Fantastic creation 😊👌 very well done 👏
An interesting method, some good workmanship and some very nice looking products

Gosh until you see how it's actually turned, it's hard to understand how it stays square even tho it's spinning on the lathe. Love your wrk mall original and never a dull design. 🇺🇸👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
