Wow.....that is amazing. How did you know I love the Doors. LMAO. I meant your work is amazing. I've never seen offset turning before and I think it's beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
This is very difficult to do, believe me. Your tools have to be really sharp and there is no room for error or the piece will break apart. This man is a real pro!
Holy Cow! I have got to try this. Looks like you have done several judging from the speed and confidence you have. I can only imagine the trial and error to get to the point you have. Amazing work.
Really neat wood turnings. I was thinking doing the offset turning without support would lead to the piece breaking. You have a light touch and managed to successfully turn some nice pieces. Thanks for sharing!!!👍
I am puzzled and delighted ))) Cool work ! Although it is very dangerous to work, at such speeds, not everyone will dare to put the part on the eccentric.
I really like your turnings. I did notice the grind on your gouge. It looks like a very aggressive grind and difficult to control for a novice wood turner. Can you provide some details about it? I do have some concerns about your safety when you reach over the spinning lathe as you part the turning. The long sleeve on your sweat shirt could be grabbed by the chuck. The end result could be a catastrophic injury where you lose the arm or use of it. As a safety engineer for 40 years, I have seen many injuries happen for the very reason I mention. And you are turning at a very high rpm. The lathe is very unforgiving and probably spinning near 100 km/ hr or higher. Be safe my friend! All it takes is one time to happen.
Beautiful work. But how do you calculate the eccentric angle, especially the second time and get the cup and the base back on axis? If I understood correctly the linearity of the cup with the base remains the same, even after the eccentric works. Sorry, what wood did you use? thank you.
Amazing your videos. I love your offset items. I need to know how you change the profile of your gouge to vortex . Is it possible for you to explain to me! Thank you Ismail from UK
Since I read t.co/oLg9l5gL3F , I think nothing will ever surpass it as an outstanding woodworking book. The book consists of attractive images as well as drawings and also reader-friendly text. I consider this book a "must have" since it supplies a broad range of information on just about everything working with woodworking and does it quite well.?
Mate, that is one of the best turning videos yet.

First time watching you really like your idea and you made it look easy. Have to try out one for myself.
Een draaibank uit Beernem. Van Willy Vanhouten. En een Barbara Dill stijl beker. Mooi gedaan.
What a neat technique! I will have to try that someday soon.

Excellent work, I'm just curious how it doesn't fly to pieces with that vibration.
SUBBED!!
