      That'd make me not be so eager to replace my 18xl! The 28-29mph max speed falls short of the 30-31 advertised. If it were to be increased to just 35, it'd be all I'd ever need. Keep it 84v just increase the speed! If the V11 can do it, so can the 18xl!
      Come to think of it, all KS would have to do is a firmware upgrade just as inmotion did for their V11. No pimpin needed.

      @@vinnyqm Same. I love how my 18XL rides so much but I can't keep up with the 100V wheels in my group. I recently got a V12 and have tried several other 100V+ wheels and none of them feel quite like my 18XL.

      Yeah, in the future I want something a little more on the small, nimble, and playful side…I think that an 18XL or an Mten4 would be my next purchase, unless something comes out in the next 6months that totally changes my mind…I have a Begode Master, and it’s my first wheel. I can already ride off curbs easily, and I have also gone up a couple successfully…and Ive barely hit 50-75 total miles ever ridden ever…I jumped RIGHT IN…but I still dont get cocky with speed, and dont ride on busy streets yet. I want full confidence in every bit of maneuverability, before I start hitting bike lanes or busy roads.
      Lol I’m still learning to perfect my mounts/dismounts…my dismounts are okay, but they’ll get better..same w/ my mounts.
      I want a T4 & s22, too lol 😈

    Begode should release a 14" 134v wheel that weights less than 50 lbs... that would be awesome. Great portability and still get crazy power. If we can convince them that they need to make it then they should have it ready before the V13 arrives 😂😂

    I really LIKE this trend. Like gaming PCs, I can see exciting future where you buy custom wheel "frames" and then add your choice of brain, battery and motor. Then add those oh so sweet combinations of RGB and a sound system. I have this fantasy wheel I call "Monolith" a perfectly rectangular shape where the left and right sides are 4K screens protected by high-impact plexiglass. On the screens are video footage that shows how your wheel is "feeling". When are flying down the street, the screens shows videos of fast things. When chillin' , the screens show a windswept mountain view, or the rolling aquamarine surf sweeping the sandy tropical beach. They possibilities would be endless.

    Range is a function of battery capacity not voltage. Watts can be converted to hp (745.7). More volts, less amps; more amps less volts (W=VI). Wh remains the same. You nailed it when you said higher higher voltage unlocks more power and torque, and if you use it you will get less range. Presumably its a master motor as well, you aren't sticking 134v into a 67v motor.

    • @AJames-jr8kw
      @AJames-jr8kw Год назад +1

      The Master motor IS a 60V motor! My take is unicycle manufacturers have realized unlike eBikes the unicycle use is more intermittent max power and they can pump more juice into the motor as it will not be on max power long enough to melt the motor. Elunipsycho may beg to differ on that assumption. :-))

    • @Roskellan
      @Roskellan Год назад

      @@AJames-jr8kw Hi that's interesting, I would expect motors used at higher voltages to need more turns on their stators and/or bigger stronger magnets. Motors as transformers if underwound will generate heat instead of power in the stator core and generate excess current in their windings.

I was wondering though, are there any charts out there that show upgraded designs to these models over the years.( If any upgrades) its easy as a beginner watching these videos to get confused because one episode u mite hear praise for a product but another video u hear more why it's not the best. And with other riders, they may have different models and different experiences. So it would be nice to have a cool thing like that. New video maybe? Lol. Thanks again!

    Interesting to see the capacity at 1360. I'm sure they made a version with 1680 as well as a smaller one maybe 840 (?) on these wheels.
    Curious. Did the Begode MB get rid of the Kingsong whine? I have read on forums etc that even the 2.0 firmwear whilst reducing greatly the KS whine on the 18XL there is still a little whistle. Motor?
    Modding the 18xl would be more difficult as being 84V it would not be a simple battery rewire like on the 67V 18s. The 16s I think is 67V.

    So are both battery packs in series instead of parallel? That way theres no need to open the packs themselves? It would explain why the original charger works with them and why you would have to charge them individually to do so. Can't use the charging protection circuit on the mobo but not sure there is one on that wheel originally anyway
    However it's done, this is so cool!

    Wait, it's possible to install a C30 rotor on a stator normally designed for C38 rotor ?
    Somebody will have to try to use a Master board and stator, with a Monster Pro rotor (which is a C30 stator with the 24 in wheel rim). The speed of that would be 20% higher than a standard Master...
    Possible ?

      @@mr_wrongway I sent him the question directly. It's a project I had in mind for a while.
      To use a master wheel, but switch the rotor with a Monster Pro one, so the whell diameter would be 24 inches instead of 20. Of course, some other modifications would be needed, since the wheel is a a lot taller.
      My problem is that I own only a V10 and a Master. I just can't start do test stuff for fun, I will be out of wheel if I break something !
      Any idea where I can get cheap parts ? From broken wheels for example...
      Btw, great video, 134V EUC with small batteries is actually a great idea. For many people, shorts errands is the norm. For me, the 2400 Wh of my master is actually too big. I can go back and forth to work twice, and it's still just below 50%, so I end up charging it every 2 days.
      To save weight, it could have less batteries.

    • @94e88
      @94e88 Год назад

      @@yanickgenest1324 the monster pro uses a c40 motor which is much bigger in diameter,(c40 outer diameter bout 14inches and c30 outer diameter bout 12 inches) a c30 stator would not be able to interact with the magnets as they would be very far away.

      I never had a Monster Pro in my hand, but if I take a look at pictures on different sites where anybody can buy EUC parts, it's written on the Monster Pro motor that it's a C30. Am I wrong ?
      Also, as far as I know, the only EUC having a C40 motor is the new EX30.
      It makes sense ?

    Suspension for a light weight wheel? How much travel is enough? If you are talking about 15 meter jumps at sports parks, you need everything that is offered in the heavy machines. However, if you are more interested in gravel roads or cobblestones, then you are more interested in keeping the weight down while taking the buzzing out of your feet and keeping your quads from complaining too much. Some automotive trailers have 'rubber in shear' suspensions. Advantages: no slides or pivots, self dampening, no need for extra high pedals. Disadvantages: not tuneable for competition purposes and limited travel, not suitable for large variations in rider weight. I personally believe that 30 Kg is the maximum weight for a nimble wheel. That should allow enough battery for respectable range. The 'need for speed' crowd will disagree with that size. Most automobiles have a legal requirement to stop in 40 meters from 100 km/h. Try doing that from even 65 km/h on a wheel. We are fooling ourselves if we think we should be in the mix with traffic. The problem with bike lanes on a highway shoulder is trash and hazards accumulate there and then there is the hazard of cars with opening doors.
