You picked the best time to visit MN! Valleyfair, State Fair, Renaissance... and great weather!
You have made my grandsons day. His favorite truck is Zombie! We had to record the whole zombie section of this video and put it on repeat for him 😂😂. He’s 2 1/2 and has seen many of your videos! 🥰
I grew up with the wild thing being in view of my house. My sister and I would take a walk, sit down, and watch as people took the drop off of the peak :D
Thank you Jacob! I was hoping you would make it to Valleyfair. I worked there in 1980 and 1981 (graduated in '82). Fond memories. The carousel was built in 1925 for the Excelsior amusement park, closed in 1973. Barely remember much from that, but I did ride it as a young child. So did my father with his dad. I only live about 15 minutes from Valleyfair....I should go back, maybe next summer for the memories. Sappy but true.
Ohhh man, if I'd known you were in Minnesota, I would have loved to meet up with you! Hopefully you also went to The State Fair!
I was about to say the same thing. Review the State Fair Tunnel of Love! Its like 100 yrs or some shit. Epic. And the old penny arcades and Space Needle
Yes let us know when you go to the state fair and if you want to do a meet up.
Monster truck rides is an interesting idea. Looks like a lot of fun
Much love too the carpetbagger. Period.👍😬
I grew up in the Twin Cities, and ValleyFair was the place to go with your class on the last day of school. The Corkscrew, High Roller and Wild Thing were great roller coasters. I used to love the ferris wheel and the carousel. Thanks for all the great memories and video footage!
I like how carpetbagger was scared in the monstertruck ride. The suspension on those things are insane, You have to cut those pretty sharp on order to tip over and at a much faster speed.
Jacob, you need to check out the MN Renaissance Festival or the MN State Fair while youre here!
I'm so excited! Thank you for picking my suggestion. 😊😊😊
Great video, Jacob. Grave Digger is one of the most popular monster trucks out there. Odds are most likely those monster trucks (not the ride trucks) are actual trucks that are retired from competition, but make great display trucks as they are. Grave Digger has its 40th anniversary this year, having debuted in 1982 with Dennis Anderson until he sold the operation to the U.S. Hot Rod Association, and now owned by Feld Entertainment.
Do you watch Kevin Talbot on RUclips? He is a RUclipsr that has a show that is usually about all the bigger RC cars and trucks but he actually built his own truck and got to use it in a show.it was pretty cool
The bee was priceless. Great video
My mom use to add a couple of dashes of dry cherry Kool aid to our lemonade to make it pink.
Halloweekends at Cedar Point and the Haunt at Kings Island are both great Halloween-themed events.
The post-apocalyptic claw machine Coopa shell was HILARIOUS!!!
The Grave Digger shop is, I think, right at the beginning of the outer banks.
I'm mainly a coaster lover but I always ride the river rapids rides when they're open (as long as its a hot day). They're a lot of fun, especially with a group.
I rode this twice on Monday, specifically with the intent to get soaked. Also rode The Wave and stood on its bridge for subsequent boats. Then went and changed back into dry clothes.
Grave Digger is a very popular monster truck. I grew up going to the monster jam shows. Amazing you got to ride in one of their people carrying trucks. So cool. I had no idea they teamed up with a theme park.
I actually got to meet Dennis Anderson the grave digger monster truck driver in person years ago & got a picture with him & 2 days later saw him at the Jacksonville jaguars stadium for his 30th anniversary
I feel like riding in a monster truck would scare me more than 99% of rollercoasters. I would be jamming on the imaginary break
Very nicely put together video and very entertaining as well. I did the Monster Jam riding experience at Kings Dominion, and it was very cool and fun too. Thanks for posting this.
You should hit up the MN State Fair and The Renaissance Festival while you're here
If you set that cup of mellow yellow down in and hour you'll trap at least 25 in that cup. The sugar draws them in. When there's a bee problem that's how to get rid of them. It can be any pop though.
I remember the commercials when the Power Tower drop ride first came out, "Makes grown men cry" lol
Pink lemonade is lemonade colored pink. Sometimes there's strawberry flavor added, but it's usually just regular lemonade colored pink.
And Woodstock is a single bird, the other birds are his friends.
This park is awesome
I can't believe you passed up the chance to make the Jaws reference. I was totally waiting for it.
The Halloween event at Kings Dominion in VA is really good! They also do a Christmas event at that park. Busch Gardens does a Christmas and Halloween event too, but KD's Halloween is better. I think Jen would enjoy both if she's into either. I'd check the website to confirm. It used to be huge and very popular before 2020. Of course, you can always check out some old RUclips vids that covered the event to get a feel.
See you are taking a break from the roller coasters. Good decision. Carousels, train rides and the little car track rides are my cup of tea.
Dude, You’re at ValleyFair? I’m in Minnesota, I Love ValleyFair!🤯❤️👍🏻
Looks like a fun place n that monster truck ride you took looks fun. Thank you for the video !!
Dorney Park's Halloween Haunt is a great haunt to go to with haunted houses, scare zones, and plenty of shows to check out!
Regardless of what others here have claimed, pink lemonade is just regular lemonade with color added.
That twisted tower behind so many of the shots in this video looks terrifying!
Favorite youtuber
World's of Fun is a Cedar Fair park in K.C., Mo. I had the best time there near Halloween around 2010. Great fog machines and lots of little added things to keep you entertained while waiting in line, and while walking through the park. I went through a Haunted house, the 3-D Hall of Carnivorous Clowns, took a tour through Camp GonnaGetchuWithaHatchet, and lots of fun stuff. Around dark, of course, is when the action really picked up. I hope I get to see a video of you at World's of Fun some day. Halloween time would just make it that much better! Thank you so much for taking me places I can't go to myself!
That bee is just a fan of the channel! 🐝
You should definitely go check out the Gravedigger roadside attraction called Diggers Dungeon in Powells Point N.C. You can visit the garage where they build the trucks, they have a awesome gift shop, monster truck rides, a old fashioned themed diner. This is very close to the Outer Banks. This would make a awesome stop in route to go visit the Wright Brothers Memorial in Kitty Hawk N.C. I would love to see you cover these places.
Please do a blind taste test!! I’m curious too!!
Right?!?
Their Halloween themed scare was called ValleySCARE but this year they' are trying something a little different. Tricks is where all the scary haunts will be and Treats is where the family friendly events will be from what I understand.
I love the Carpet Bagger 🖤💜💚
Fun place to visit. My family and I will be there this Sunday. Looking forward to be there.
Finally Jacob has learned to stay away from the claw machines. Oh wait a minute.
That last throw. Ooooooh.
Thanks Jacob.
Bee is insulted, as it is a wasp :P
that was fun ! love the videos !! this ones in the bag !!!
Looks like a really nice park.
🥤🐝.......*The BEE Trying to Get at your Softdrink had Me Laughing!😄😅🤣😂
I saw you while you where here, I should’ve said hi!
Pink lemonade is made from a certain species of lemon. It's pink on the inside. Pink lemons were discovered as a natural mutation growing on a eureka lemon tree in the early 20th century in Southern California!
Always good to learn something new.
I don't know if it's me, but Pink Lemonade seems to be less tart than regular Lemonade.
Are u serious?? I have never heard that I've never drank it because I thought it was artifical color! Thanks for the knowledge👍
@@wendidallas8213 en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Variegated_pink_lemon
That's the Wikipedia mobile page. Not all pink lemonade is made from those lemons. Some brands used to use strawberry. I think Kellogg's did? But pink lemons are real, and that's what true pink lemonade is *supposed* to contain.
That's not true. It's just added color in pink lemonade
The monster truck area is so cool and different love lt.!
Hi Jacob. We enjoyed this one. Good work. And by the way, the camel hired some bees to follow you around the park. Just joking around. Buzz buzz. 🐝🐝🐝🐝 Have fun. 🐫🐪🐫🐪🐫🐫🐪🐪
Love those monster trucks!
Glad to see you visiting the theme park where I live.
Awesome video! Looks like a cool place to visit! Definitely adding to my bucket list! Well, thanks for sharing! Have a great day!
Brilliant video thanks Jacob! 😃❤️☀️
With your comment on the carousel… I guessed “pure evil” you said “dead inside” lol 🤙
OH my, I watched that bee follow you the whole time. Hilarious.
A little disappointed you didn't ride any coasters. Cool park though.
I hope that you can get to see the sites and sounds of the Minnesota State Fair going on this week til Labor Day.
Grave Digger is my favorite monster truck. My nephew used to have a toy Grave Digger monster truck when he was little. Zombie also looks cool.
Woodstock is Snoopy's best friend so it's one bird. However he does have a sibling that he was with when the character was first introduced in the comic strip. Woodstock also has several bird friends which all look the same as he does. His main friends are Bill, Conrad, Olivier and Harriet. I'm guessing the fountain was him and some friends.
Fun fact though...No one knows what kind of bird he is...even Woodstock doesn't know.
Great stuff CB.
Worlds of Fun is a CF park. Is home to one of the best Haunts out there.
the only place to vacation when you don't have a lot of money for a Disney vacation and live in MN. we went in the 70s when they had dolphins. we would study the take home map and plan the next year's trip. when I grew up and took my kid, he was bored. I still can't get over that. 🤯
Even the bees are a member of the Mello Yello club, the grave digger roadside attraction is called digger's dungeon, speaking of monster trucks its a shame that monster jam is a shell of it's formal self, it's also the one job I don't miss having.
Woodstock is a single bird. He's a canary, & there are lots of those out there. So, Woodstock has a lot of friends & relatives that he hangs out with.
The Park looks pretty nice. I was hoping to get to see a new dark ride though.
Fun! Shows there can be more to offer than roller coasters alone! "Bee" careful! ha ha
I'm betting within the next 5 years we get some kind of a crossover special starring both Snoopy and Snoop Dog.
This was awesome!
Glad to see u in my state carpetbagger much love ❤
My old stomping grounds! Interesting fact, the amusement park inside Mall of America in Bloomington, MN was called Camp Snoopy until Cedar Point obtained the licensing.
Knott's berry farm has a peanuts themed area for kids too.
@@christophermichael.w.7577 knotts is owned by Cedar also.
Hey Carpetbagger, Welcome to Minnesota. While your here you need to check out the Renaissance Festival.
Pink lemonade has maraschino cherry juice added.😋 from what I always knew.
The Minnesota Renaissance Festivals is going on the weekends during September.
I suggest you go there, it’s awesome!
You are a very good videographer.😉❤
Another great video Jacob!!!!!
Love the monster trucks.. Looks like an amazing day out.. take care Jacob XX
monster trucks are cool.
I almost peed my pants laughing so much about the bee!!!! I think it was just one bee addicted to Mellow Yellow! You were so nice to "bee" willing to share with them. As for haunted attractions, Grand Rapids MI has one called The Haunt. Might be an option for you. Loving your videos!
Pink lemonade generally tastes like regular lemonade because, well, it IS largely made from lemons! The color is the result of adding a coloring, like grape fruit, pomegranate, cranberry, or any number of artificial dyes.
The lore surrounding pink lemonade stems from a late 19th century circus. Apparently, the lemonade stand ran out of water to make more lemonade and grabbed the first water they could get which was a wash bin for clown clothing which had turned pink from the red clothing. The batch of lemonade came out pink, and, thus, pink lemonade was born. It was an immediate hit.
Modern pink lemonade merely has food coloring added.
huge fan
that park was really cute and clean, with some fun looking rides. if that was me I would have flung that Mello yellow and ran from that bee. I have never been stung and I want to keep it that way lol. Worlds of Fun have a Halloween nights, they are up in KC. I know now that it is after labor day I think they are closed during the week, but check their website out. 😉 love your vlogs
Jacob, Kings Island in Mason Ohio has always had a great Halloween themed time of the season. It also has a it divided into a family oriented times during the day and “The Haunt” with many haunted attractions during the evening with extended hours on weekends starting September 23 thru October 29. In 2021 Kings Island was voted “Best Halloween Theme Park Event” in the country in USA Today
Hey Carpet Bagger. Just wondering how come you haven't been riding the roller coasters anymore ? The bee at the end was so funny I laughed so hard. You are the best love you 🎡🎠🤗
If I could make a Carpetbagger video game, You'd ust run around trying to avoid bees and guys with leafblowers and compressed air and the final boss would be a camel that you'd fight on a Ferris Wheel
HI, I have a Pink Lemonade tree in my yard. The lemons are striped green and yellow on the outside and the fruit is pink on the inside.
The Monster Truck Ride was fun! There's "1" Woodstock. The rest are friends.
We've never been to that cedar fair park, but got to see monster jam at Carowinds last year.
Monster Jam Thunder Alley was the best part
I loved the Kings Island Halloween event. Went back in October 2020.
Shaw ko pee lol. Happy to have you here in MN!!!!!!
Love the monster trucks excellent video.
Yes space mountain is a wild mouse coaster in the dark
Welcome to Minnesota!!!!
Welcome to Minnesota!
I have a season's pass to Kings Island and the bees are always bad around the drink stations. Cedar Fair needs to get some of those bee trappers and put them near the drink stations. They don't provide lids so its almost impossible to just sit and drink a soda without bees swarming around. Very annoying.
