- Taped in November 1997, but aired at the beginning of January 98. I have Des Moines 98 in the archives, along with Indianapolis, and Tacoma. I do have Beaumont 98, but you're better off watching MTUncensored channel.

Aside from the advancements in the monster trucks themselves and the addition of freestyle, this all puts Monster Jam to shame. An authentic broadcast. Man I would love to have Ralphie and the Professor do one of today's Monster Jam broadcasts. So glad you posted these!
I agree. I like how here they featured lower class trucks, not just the big boys.
Frankly in today's world the arena for the trucks should be twice as long and wide as it is today, to allow for more complex obstacles, with easier and difficult ones and more varied ...and offer a challenge for smaller beasts, running on 40s.
We have an entire segment of all those stupid lifted trucks, pavement queens, that should be raced in such events like in these videos.
These videos bring back a lot of great memories
Great video this was my childhood era of monster trucks love being able to share it with my son
Thank you for uploading the video. It's much appreciated 👍👍
it's so weird to see Bulldozer here, I forgot it wasn't originally owned by FELD
I love the old USA motorsports stuff. But the course design irritates me. I prefer the old Monster Jam layout. Long starting stretch then a tight 90 inward, then hammer across the line.
Overall, I love the Penda drag style the most.
1998 USA TNN Motor Madness (Hypothetical) Points Standings After TV/YT Show 1:
1 Samson - Dan Patrick 11
2 Firestone Wilderness - Eric Meagher 8
3 Equalizer - David Morris 6
Bulldozer - Guy Wood 6
5 Virginia Giant - Diehl Wilson 5
6 Bigfoot - Dan Runte 4
Executioner - Mark Hall 4
Gotta love Motor Madness
Cool video
Yeah this was not a well-thought-out track design.
Monster trucks sure have changed and that's a good thing😂
Older trucks are objectively better
Stupid track design, great action
Horrible course design for the monsters
