@@CuteHimbo cant argue with that, just saying it looks slightly better on bayo2. tho i do agree bayo3 looks good aswell, its just the 3rd game is somewhat holding the game back because of its hardware. but regardless of the switch's limitations holding back bayo 3, theyre still great in their own way.
Gosh, I never realized how bad the lighting is in Bayonetta 3. I'm guessing it’s because of the engine Platinum used for the switch. Another problem I have with Bayonetta 3 is the shading/color of gold in the game. The color/shading of gold in Bayonetta 3 looks very orange and unflattering. Whereas the color gold in the two previous games looks flawless. I could go on about how many issues I have with Bayonetta 3. The game had potential but was led in the wrong direction. I hope we get a Bayonetta 3 remaster that fixes all these significant errors.
She clearly pops much more in Bayo 2 showing off how beautiful her Bayo 3 outfit is. I always had a love hate relationship with it in 3 where, as you can see, she just blends into her environment. This mod makes me love her outfit so much more than ever
Most of her fights In three are with hugeee monsters so it makes her so unnoticeable and not focused on unlike 1 and 2

The biggest factor in b3 downgrade in visuals is demon slave. They need to make MUCH bigger areas to accommodate the huge demon slave models and even then the battles are still insanely taxing on performance. And would likely be even more so if they stuck to 2s style

Bayo 3 looks good in its own way and has its own style, but bayo 2 just looks better. (They clearly made a game the switch couldn't handle, but i still love bayo 3)

Bro the direction of cutscenes in 2 is amazing, putting them in comparision to 3 makes 2 look like a way better product, damn what waste of $60 3 was
I always liked the Bayo 2 graphics because it seems to have more depth in color compared to Bayo 3. When walking around in the different chapters you can see how close or far from Bayo objects and enemies are. In 3 I was often hitting air instead of my target since the objects and enemies blend with the environment more 😅 but maybe that’s just me lol
Unsurprisingly, Bayo 2 can make anything look pretty. ❤

while I have 3 on Switch, still have 1 and 2 on wii u. I know there's the switch versions but put a lot of time on the first 2 and took me a while to unlock Chain Chomp, so rather not start over.

I agree that the lighting and shading in Bayonetta 3 were a bit underwhelming for her model, but look at 0:44, her face is more detailed and nicely textured. Her face is more expressive and feel almost real for a bad graphic. The new game is really fresh, and even though it's a pity for PlatinumGames that it's on the Switch, it was the only way to keep Bayonetta alive. They're still doing a great job.

It’s the badly done normals/bumps + poorly rendered metallics in 3 that I personally think aged bad already… why is the gold glowing in the dark and flat? Idk why games keep switching engines, their own engine looks way better in the first 2 games. And the face models don’t look good in cutscenes in 3 which is concerning 🌝

@@Sharkwedge B3 looks worse because of the many features added to combat like demon slave which allows to you summon giant demons to use in fights that always have to be loaded at all times, also the maps are much larger!
@@bayo_cerezitaMore features would still work with good art direction. B3 had good and cool designs but the art direction was just bad.
