Both looks awesome. The first one is more dark, but the resolution and the images are impressive.
Bayonetta still has the pride stride from one but she walks more like she has a job to do
Imagine if you could unlock all the weapons and costumes from the first game.
You can unlock some of the outfits from Bayonetta 1. And you can unlock Scarborough Fair and Shuraba as well.

i still wished that they kept the torture attacks from the first game
They are but only for Bayonetta 1 enemies that are in Bayonetta 2
@MechanicWonder she has some of her old torture attacks. She just doesn’t have torture attacks for Joy (BDSM Torture Attack) Inspired (Bird Wicked Weave), and Harmony (Chainsaw Torture Attack)
They did kinda sense bayonetta went back in time to the witch hunts

I prefer the first version. I love it when she uses her long hair to convert into a beast of burden and devour her enemies. I never played the second or third version because I don't have a Nintendo Wii or Switch. I played it on Xbox 360 back in the day.

The character model is better in 2 but the world's textures are better in 1.
Of course the limitations on the Wii U were to blame for this. Also around 360/PS3 you could get away with texture quality but the console wouldnt show it, only emulators and remasters then you can finally see the quality. Like Dark Souls' textures

Bayo 2 did everything better... Except the high-speed chase sequence. That demon-dog in Hell was far inferior to the motorcycle thing.
And the bosses. In bayonetta 2 they are too confusing

@@4400seriesFAN me neither (at least in normal and difficult mode) but in Bayo 2 it seems like you can win by pressing random buttons.
@@Pikminbianco In both games. Realistically, nobody has time to read the enemies' patterns, remember combos, react to the enemy attacks and perform the appropriate moves in such a game. Everyone just initiates an attack and then follows it with the first combo that comes into muscle memory and then hopes they don't get hit or have misjudged the distance and miss. Nobody really choose all their moves.
@@4400seriesFAN oh you'd be surprised how many people actually do (specially those who like replaying the games). Besides, you don't have to "hope" you don't get hit since Bayo uses a mechanic called dodge offset

Just finished Bayo 1+2.
I prefer Bayo 1 overall, because the story and characters are better, and I like the level designs better. Also Bayo 1 default costume is superior to Bayo 2. Prefer the bosses in Bayo 1 as well.
Bayo 2 looks better and plays slightly smoother, but it’s much easier than Bayo 1. Also Bayo 2 has a wider range of enemies, but none stood out in particular because they were all equally easy to beat. (Hard mode). Also Jeanne had a huge glow up in Bayo 2.
Side note: Just started Bayo 3 and it’s the worst looking Bayonetta game so far I think :( the lighting is weird and the resolution is super blurry. Also, wtf did they do to Jeanne???? She looks terrible.

Hey, this is an actual franchise only thanks to Nintendo, so there is nobody else to blame but SEGA. If they sponsored the game's development it would've happened on PC eventually. But they didn't. And games cost money to make.
