Since Bayo surpassed Rodin in both angel and demons forms, it's nice to see their demon slave attack being simply a dance between the most powerful beings in the human world. Also with Alraune's masquerade rage, she really wants to make things difficult and painful as possible for Bayo even as a weapon.
In Bayonetta 2 Alraune seemed like a pretty sadistic (and tragic) demon, being dubbed the Whisperer of Insanity and/or Dementia, so it doesn’t seem out of character for her to bring pain and misery to souls, even to witches she’s contracted with.
