Yoga With Adriene I just set up a table and my iPad in our extended bedroom area and my intention is for me to get dedicated to doing this everyday. The biggest intention is to get my husband to do it. If you can recommend easy quick beginner sessions for the both of us to get started on I would be forever grateful! Just good morning stretches for him, gotta keep it simple for him at first. Ty!
My intention for the month is self-respect/self-love. I am in literal transition in my life and need to remind myself that I am in control of my changes and am worthy to receive good things. Thank you for this energetic wakeup call. It really set the mood!
I was diagnosed with MS about a year ago and was in a wheelchair for a couple months. I discovered your videos and started with low to the ground practices. Cut to today and I am standing on my own two feet in the star pose!! My body feels alive for the first time in a long time! Thank you so much for doing what you do. Namaste.

Saw one of my daughters recently. Don't have opportunity to see her often, she gets mad at me a lot. We had a nice chat, and at one point she tells me she has started doing Yoga. Which blows my mind as she has always resisted Yoga with me growing up. She says, "I found this wonderful woman on RUclips." I said, "Don't tell me it's Adriene!" With a big smile she nodded and told me how much she loves you. You gave me a small connection with my daughter! You are a gift!
That's a wonderful thing. I am estranged from my daughter. Not through my choice. Nasty situation. It's cruel. Yoga has given me a safe sanctuary. Adriene is indeed a gift to the world 💟

Wow! what an adventure, it has been on my mat today. I came to the mat, and with in seconds, was having yet, another emotional breakdown. I cried, and was struggling, with all that's going on, in my head lately. But then after a while, I finally came to do this yoga practice, and I am so glad I did. It took me 3 hours to stop breaking, before I could do my yoga, but I've loved every minute of my yoga with you Adriene. You truly bring peace, to my loud, and busy mind. Since I began practicing yoga with Adriene, I have saved this particular session in a magic jar. I believe I return to this one every month when my mind and body ask me to take it slow. This yoga practice is filling my cup every time since. Namaste ✨
*KISS - day 31/365:* I’ve decided to keep going after HOME and try to do a whole year of yoga because if I can do one month, I’m pretty sure I can do anything.😂 This was the perfect first practise after the end of my last journey, starting a new one with my cup FULL! Let’s do this together!👍🏻💕
Did anyone else find difficulty setting an intention and finding a kind word to say to themselves? Today really felt like a struggle with my thoughts and the weight of taking on other people's stresses. I went back to yesterday's ADMIRE class - Inner Peace meditation and immediately 'I choose to let it go' came up without even thinking. As always, thank you so much Adriene and this community 🙏💛
I also found myself in need of using the "I choose to let go" mantra she taught us yesterday, my head was a whole mess all of today. I'm glad it was also useful to you, know that you're never alone during these practices, we're all here with you. 💜
I think that you are making progress when you find it challenging and difficult to show up. You may not realize how much progress you have made until later when you have a really easy, free flowing session.

I struggled for most of the practice, my Fibromyalgia is bad today, I'm in lots of pain. But in the end (basically the last few minutes of the practice) I found zen, I found peace. Thank you so much Adriene, you are always there for me, and today I really needed you, you where there with your beautiful smile making me feel better. And you really have, I'm doing a lot better after this yoga practice, then i was before hand. I'm now ready to do my meditation, and try to go through my day, that now feels a lot more possible then it did before the practice. I’ve chosen this video a number of times now, and always have a unique experience. I’m amazed by how uplifted I feel at the end of each practice. An applicant recently complimented me on how calm I was on the phone at work the other day, and I credit these videos for cultivating this new, calm approach to my interactions with others. Filling your cup truly does allow you to fill the cups of people in your life.

I to also love your videos I lost a good amount of weight and gained a good amount of muscle just by doing beginners yoga YOUR Yoga. Imagine this a 564 lb man doing your beginners yoga exactly the way you're doing it for months on end then finding out he's down. 448 lbs I need to get back to it and keep Dropping

Where are we going next Breath and Bridgers? Time to get off this bridge. I am going to MOVE about a bit. How about you? The calendar is now up on the YWA website. Today's practice was tough but doable. I had to deal with some tightness in the left hamstring and hip, but it subsided fairly quickly. I backed off as needed. Right now, I feel pretty good. Bridge day 28. Day 147 in a row.
I’ve been in such a dark place recently but my husband reminded me how excited I’ve been about yoga thanks to you, and this video found me tonight exactly when I needed it.

This practice saved my day. I woke up feeling kind sad and little disappointed with myself. I'm glad I decided to do this practice in the morning, I feel so much better! Not 100% yet but I'm hopeful that today is gonna be a good one. Refresh day 11, day 20 for me! 🦋🎉💕
It was awesome and connected with my morning Bible meditation I do before yoga, today's verse had in it something like "shine like the stars", and then at the end, we did star pose here, and in my headk, a still small voice said, "Be the Light" :) Love Ann

Noticed a comment below about a mother-daughter connection through YWA... beautiful. It was my daughter too that brought me to Adriene over a year ago. I have been doing Yoga since 1978... another senior yogi here... and now I practice with Adriene's videos everyday. The fun thing is that my daughter and I can practice together now and we live over 1000 miles apart from each other. Thank you Adriene... and all. Namaste.
Absolutely loved this practice! At the end in star pose, when you said " holding space, taking up space" I realized that I am often anxious about taking up too much space. Daily practice on the mat with your videos really helps me to calm those anxieties and move towards feeling like I deserve to take up space. I felt very full and warm after this practice!
People change with time. Its amazing how Adriene's analogies have remained same like holding a big beach ball. But I love this Adriene with a big warm smile full of life. Lots of love. Namaste.
Came to this practice from today's Sunday letter and it was just the reminder I needed! I have been neglecting my yoga practice the past couple of weeks on account of being too busy, but if I'm being honest it's not the kind of busy where I literally do not have half an hour for myself. Rather it's the busy where I *feel* I do not have the time and think I should cut out anything that isn't necessary. Oh such faulty thinking... The reminder to fill my cup was much needed and welcomed, thank you Adriene
This last practice of Bridge was a slow steady workout for this senior yogi. Suffering from lockdown inactivity, the downward dogs and vinyasa flows were more of a challenge than usual, so I modified a little, moving through knees to be mindful. Completing this sequence was fun and so good for my positivity and fitness. Feeling yoga satisfied Adriene 😊👌 I’ll see you tomorrow for MOVE 🧘🏼♀️🧘🏻♀️🙏💕
We did it Gill! 🙌🏻 I had to do modifications today bc my sciatic pain letting it’s presence be known. It’s funny how quickly I forget how the softness and gentle approach that is what keeps me going. The desire to compare creeps in if I’m not careful. 💕

After all these years, still one of my favorite yoga practices. Adriene has impacted my life greatly and for the better. She is a treasure and she shines a beautiful warm light over the sometimes cold, dreariness of the day.

My intention was to build some warmth as it's a cold day here, and while this is not a fast flow with lots of vinyasas, there are still lots of opportunities to incorporate breath and strength. Mission accomplished! 🙏
I always have anxiety before going to work in the afternoon, and I knew that I could find a nice and comforting yoga-practice here. Thank you for helping me reduce my stress and anxiety today and every other day when I've been needing it!

I’ve been doing yoga with you for the past three years and as of today, this is my favorite little practice. I can’t explain exactly what it is about it but it felt perfect - light, joyous, calm and sweet. Thank you for all you do each and every day to put positive energy into the universe.
The star is a symbol of the birth of Jesus Christ. The intention I settled on was "I choose Light." This practice ended up being very fitting for the holiday season for me 💛⭐ thank you! It brought renewed energy that I really needed.
Had some winter blues today, so this was a good lower energy one. Day 365 of the current run. If it weren't a leap year, it'd be a full year of daily yoga in the bag.
DELIGHT😆 - July 2024 I delight in pouring positive energy into my being so I am able to be the best version of myself in my day to day life. Man oh man the powers of yoga that be! I feel rejuvenated, lithe, calm, focused, buoyant, joyous, delighted; so many positive, amazing feelings all thanks to this wonderful fill your cup practice. I settled in with myself in this present moment and enjoyed stretching my body out, making space for positive energy, releasing the negative and opening my mind, body and soul to the powers of the universe and all the blessings it bestows upon me. A transformative practice one might say. I also delighted in having fun with my body which feels so strong and I am so grateful for throughout each of the poses, connecting mind to muscle and celebrating all that I can do! I am so ready to step into this spectacular new day surrounded by an aura of light and happiness🌟🌞🥰💛✨! Namaste my beautiful yoga friends, wishing you well on this fabulous weekend we have been gifted with🙏💓🤗! Xx
After some lighter days, this felt a little tough but doable. I had to baby my left knee which has some slight soreness today. I found the star pose interesting today. The feeling was quite enhanced. I had the sense that there was energy trying to flow from all four directions but each bottlenecked. Blossom day 11. 554 days in a row.
I've been hard on my body since finished two nearly back to back pregnancies. I may still struggle with the extra skin I have in my core area, but your practices make me feel emotional and empowered. I can love my body as it is while building that strength back up. Thank you for the support and love. Sincerely, a stranger and friend.

Adrienne's videos have basically helped me mentally and physically after my spinal cord injury! I had trouble finding a way to exercise without doing more damage & these are it! I do them in my living room almost every day now (in my old t-shirt and shorts, no fuss). Her direction has helped tremendously to hone-in on precise movements that make all the difference as well. Great character, great spirit and fun! And Benji is cool too!

Did anyone else find difficulty setting an intention and finding a kind word to say to themselves? Today really felt like a struggle with my thoughts and the weight of taking on other people's stresses. I went back to yesterday's ADMIRE class - Inner Peace meditation and immediately 'I choose to let it go' came up without even thinking. As always, thank you so much Adriene and this community 🙏💛
I also found myself in need of using the "I choose to let go" mantra she taught us yesterday, my head was a whole mess all of today. I'm glad it was also useful to you, know that you're never alone during these practices, we're all here with you. 💜
I think that you are making progress when you find it challenging and difficult to show up. You may not realize how much progress you have made until later when you have a really easy, free flowing session.

I struggled for most of the practice, my Fibromyalgia is bad today, I'm in lots of pain. But in the end (basically the last few minutes of the practice) I found zen, I found peace. Thank you so much Adriene, you are always there for me, and today I really needed you, you where there with your beautiful smile making me feel better. And you really have, I'm doing a lot better after this yoga practice, then i was before hand. I'm now ready to do my meditation, and try to go through my day, that now feels a lot more possible then it did before the practice. I’ve chosen this video a number of times now, and always have a unique experience. I’m amazed by how uplifted I feel at the end of each practice. An applicant recently complimented me on how calm I was on the phone at work the other day, and I credit these videos for cultivating this new, calm approach to my interactions with others. Filling your cup truly does allow you to fill the cups of people in your life.

I to also love your videos I lost a good amount of weight and gained a good amount of muscle just by doing beginners yoga YOUR Yoga. Imagine this a 564 lb man doing your beginners yoga exactly the way you're doing it for months on end then finding out he's down. 448 lbs I need to get back to it and keep Dropping

Today's practice was tough but doable. I had to deal with some tightness in the left hamstring and hip, but it subsided fairly quickly. I backed off as needed. Right now, I feel pretty good.

Noticed a comment below about a mother-daughter connection through YWA... beautiful. It was my daughter too that brought me to Adriene over a year ago. I have been doing Yoga since 1978... another senior yogi here... and now I practice with Adriene's videos everyday. The fun thing is that my daughter and I can practice together now and we live over 1000 miles apart from each other. Thank you Adriene... and all. Namaste.
Absolutely loved this practice! At the end in star pose, when you said " holding space, taking up space" I realized that I am often anxious about taking up too much space. Daily practice on the mat with your videos really helps me to calm those anxieties and move towards feeling like I deserve to take up space. I felt very full and warm after this practice!

I was feeling tired this morning, but after that session I'm feeling energetic.I am now ready for the day ahead, Thank you.
Came to this practice from today's Sunday letter and it was just the reminder I needed! I have been neglecting my yoga practice the past couple of weeks on account of being too busy, but if I'm being honest it's not the kind of busy where I literally do not have half an hour for myself. Rather it's the busy where I *feel* I do not have the time and think I should cut out anything that isn't necessary. Oh such faulty thinking... The reminder to fill my cup was much needed and welcomed, thank you Adriene
This last practice of Bridge was a slow steady workout for this senior yogi. Suffering from lockdown inactivity, the downward dogs and vinyasa flows were more of a challenge than usual, so I modified a little, moving through knees to be mindful. Completing this sequence was fun and so good for my positivity and fitness. Feeling yoga satisfied Adriene 😊👌 I’ll see you tomorrow for MOVE 🧘🏼♀️🧘🏻♀️🙏💕

I had to do modifications today bc my sciatic pain letting it’s presence be known. It’s funny how quickly I forget how the softness and gentle approach that is what keeps me going. The desire to compare creeps in if I’m not careful.

My intention was to build some warmth as it's a cold day here, and while this is not a fast flow with lots of vinyasas, there are still lots of opportunities to incorporate breath and strength. I’ve been doing yoga with you for the past three years and as of today, this is my favorite little practice. I can’t explain exactly what it is about it but it felt perfect - light, joyous, calm and sweet. Thank you for all you do each and every day to put positive energy into the universe.

Had some winter blues today, so this was a good lower energy one. Day 365 of the current run. If it weren't a leap year, it'd be a full year of daily yoga in the bag.

I delight in pouring positive energy into my being so I am able to be the best version of myself in my day to day life.
Man oh man the powers of yoga that be! I feel rejuvenated, lithe, calm, focused, buoyant, joyous, delighted; so many positive, amazing feelings all thanks to this wonderful fill your cup practice. I settled in with myself in this present moment and enjoyed stretching my body out, making space for positive energy, releasing the negative and opening my mind, body and soul to the powers of the universe and all the blessings it bestows upon me. A transformative practice one might say. I also delighted in having fun with my body which feels so strong and I am so grateful for throughout each of the poses, connecting mind to muscle and celebrating all that I can do! I am so ready to step into this spectacular new day surrounded by an aura of light and happiness🌟🌞🥰💛✨! After some lighter days, this felt a little tough but doable. I had to baby my left knee which has some slight soreness today. I found the star pose interesting today. The feeling was quite enhanced. I had the sense that there was energy trying to flow from all four directions but each bottlenecked.

I've been hard on my body since finished two nearly back to back pregnancies. I may still struggle with the extra skin I have in my core area, but your practices make me feel emotional and empowered. I can love my body as it is while building that strength back up. Thank you for the support and love. Sincerely, a stranger and friend.

Adrienne's videos have basically helped me mentally and physically after my spinal cord injury! I had trouble finding a way to exercise without doing more damage & these are it! I do them in my living room almost every day now (in my old t-shirt and shorts, no fuss). Her direction has helped tremendously to hone-in on precise movements that make all the difference as well. Great character, great spirit and fun! And Benji is cool too!
