@@AHD2105 Nothing to do with 'money', its 'psychopathy', possibly partially drug induced. Just like with gun(s) people don't go out to kill people just because they own a gun(s). I've been around guns my entire life and never once though to take one of them and kill a person(s).
Alex worked with a lot of other people who made good money but didn't go around using their money to control and manipulate people. We all have the opportunity to do harm to others. Guns, knives, baseball bats and so on are easy to be had here but the VAST majority of citizens don't misuse these items to injure or kill their fellow man.
In NYC there are people who push their fellow New Yorkers onto the subway tracks ('3rd rail') but its not common either. Should we do away with subways, convert to riding horses, stop manufacturing knives and baseball bats ?
And 'rise up' against what exactly ? Should we give away our money, throw it out, burn it ? Money is just a receipt for 'x number of hours worked'. Do you think that giving away what you've earned to a central person or committee, will end all corruption, theft and intimidation ?
Money also causes 'competition',which is healthy and spurned on a country that is only several hundred years old to be one of the greatest (and I believe THE greatest) in world history.
You have the right to say what you want or believe here so speak on, but if I were you, I'd maybe re-think the drivel you spout because it makes no sense. BTW, do you have a hatred for the USA, 'capitalism' or both ?

@@lindsayjwhite6352 So the whole country is corrupted. I'd believe that, especially when 1st world countries are tired of dealing with a violent and corrupt Whitehouse since Bush. Oh Except the last admin. He seemed to be more about getting enemy countries onside against China (and peace making as with Iran and Saudi). I guess elites wernt into him threatening their easy Chinese money deals. This leader is provoking wars for money instead. Now all ex alliances need to become independent, build new aliances and build our own nukes. Because this admin had never engaged any of the alliances in any moves he made. Which was a shocking. He is basically a totailarain making decisions off the top of his own (or its Xi) head for a whole country and affecting the whole world's stability. I think Xi has played the US at its own game, and bought this entire admin out along with Bigtech and major corporations. A Chinese run US, and who do you think China hate more than the Uyghur? 😬

Has anyone considered a mechanical breakdown of the car? When I was a young child, my mother and I were at a railroad crossing in the country side. No barriers. She saw a freight train approaching, about 100 yards. Our car was relatively new with a big V8 engine. But this is the early 1960s and the cars of the 50’s were given to flooding and stalling when accelerating too fast. My mother stepped on the gas. The car jumped onto the track. And stalled. Just like Randolph I’s car is said to have done. Of course the private circumstances surrounding him which could have affected his state of mind fits with the generational shame thinking.

  • @MLA56
    @MLA56 Год назад

I'm an historian (Ph.D.) but also have a law degree. My historical research revealed pretty quickly that the Murdaugh family have been major folks in the area since ca 1840, not 1920. They were BIG plantation owners with lots of slaves, owned stores, sawmills, and other businesses. By 1850, a direct ancestor of this line was Federal AND State Clerk of Court there. Also other offices such as Justices of the Peace (like a Magistrate in a small local area today) and others. During the Civil War the men fought for the Confederacy, of course, but unlike most families they PROSPERED. They owned and invested in Blockade Runners, which were ENORMOUSLY profitable. It also allowed them to keep their money in hard gold and silver in "offshore" banks in the Bahamas, Bermuda, or Britain.
After the war, they began picking up the properties of their neighbors for pittances. Through our Southern eyes, they were "home- grown carpetbaggers." They preyed on their neighbors' misfortunes. So, Randolph I may have lost a lot, but he was by no means the "founder" of the family's wealth and prominence in the area.

The impending “Boat Case” added further pressure plus the financial crimes were just the pilot light to ignite this massive explosion of double murder.
Taking out Paul made one obvious problem go away in AM’s mind & whether Maggie was a necessary collateral damage or had to also be eliminated to cover his tracks, the demented rational is rooted in sociopathy & narcissism. It’s not a thought any healthy person could ever rationalize which is why AM thought he could get away with this heinous act.

Maggie may have been collateral damage, or maybe she got killed to inherit her property, to help pay for financial crimes that were already exposed. Also I heard ibexes Maggie didn’t want to sell some property Alex did, and maybe he doesn’t want it to get out of the “family”.
Maybe Alex and Paul and Buster were rejected by the entire family, Alex is going down, paul was going to sink the whole family, Buster cheated and got kicked out of law school……. What if the rest of the family decided they all had to go…

☘️ Totally agree that AM was angry/ hateful towards Paul for several reason:
1- Blaming Paul for his 2019 inebriated 🚤 boat crash killing Mallory Beach that led to the beginning of the crumbling of the fictitious Murdaugh social & financial dynasty era.
2- Paul’s boat accident was the FIRST time in nearly a century when a Murdaugh’s truly faced REAL LEGAL, Societal, Reputational, & catastrophic Financial Accountability.
3-Paul’s nickname “Little Detective,” given to him by Maggie because Paul was assisting her in secretly scouting for illegal narcotics used & hidden by Alex., which was upsetting Maggie.
Like many enthralled within the cumulative & massive twists & turns of this double murder; I have so many opinions, questions & issues relating to the Murdaugh Klan, their entitlements, their ever-increasing & compounding illegal incomprehensible behaviors & the conduct & trickery performed by Alex Murdaugh’s 2 Lead Defense Attorneys, both of whom should NOT be permitted to represent Alex because they are WITNESSES (possibly co-conspirators) with Alex…in at least some of his crimes. As reported today during the prosecution’s case when SLED Agent played & detailed Law Enforcement Officers’ 3rd interview with Alex’s that was arranged by these 2 defense attorneys directed, interrupted & actively put forth their statements as (false) facts & theory.

She had other assets in her , an insurance policy that I read was increased to $12,000,000 before she died. A whole lot of motive for wanting them both gone. But, it didn't solve anything because the law office discovered what he had been up to and he was exposed anyway and allowed to resign but he lost his law license. His house of cards fell in on him. Yes and we see this in Buster still trying to spill the narrative in the trial that he believed his brother Paul was innocent and not driving the boat. Buster is being a good ol boy, listening to daddy and protecting the family secrets. I honestly think AM thought he could murder and no one would question him due to the legacy and he'd buy time and maybe sell some properties. Let's not forget that right before the trial for Paul, the Mark Tinsley for the Mallory Beech case had a discussion with AM and stated if he influenced the outcome, he'd take Maggie and Paul and try it in another location. I believe this was also a day or two prior to the murders. AM may have been able to influence the outcome locally, but moved to another location, he'd literally have no power over it, and Mark Tinsley let him know he was willing to retry it elsewhere.

They will have to give that to Mallory’s family. I really think he stripped down got the blood off him went to the house and showered then left with those cloths and guns and hid them at his parents place. He killed his wife because she was going to have financial records done and it would of showed they were broke. He asked them to be at Moselle. He lured them there. He planned this whole thing. The dog caretaker testified that he had seen puddles of water further down from the dog cages a few hours after having cleaned them. The water from those cages would've dried up. My point all this time, Being a SC native, I've tried to explain this, the level of denial these families are capable of while defending their own, would seem impossible to anyone who's never seen it. This family has never had this problem before, meaning this many eyes on them! Alex did this so he and his family could snatch the power back to control the narrative BEHIND CLOSED DOORS! I understand ppl don't get this, but alex may have known his goose was cooked However he had every reason to believe if he could make him self another victim, he could regain the control to have this entire thing handled between himself and his friends and no one else would care. That is EXACTLY how they have always gotten what they want. Consider what the female from the firm said, its a Brotherhood, and as long as he got the money back, they'd let it go, this was the first time this man was not able to shake off the media, but even in something this big. HE ALMOST Succeeded!!!!! And ppl do not understand that, if media had pushed and sled had not gotten involved ALEX AND HIS FAMILY would have been the leading investigation on this scene! With nothing more powerful than a local police officer to contend with! The motivation here isn't that the bad shame ect they could est re write the story of how he got this way, by painting him a victim of "The big bad opioid crisis" and vigilantes in the boT crash, they can re write their history!!!! By saying he is not a perfect man, but black bla black he's paid more than anyone should have to... pay attention to not what u know but what he believes!!!

It's like the godfather effect. Paul had become a liability, the boat crash was yet another example of something to 'clean up'. Maggie was ready to settle, she wanted to start afresh. Alex is like the godfather who loves them but knows they are liabilities that need to be dealt with.

Buster was caught cheating in college and got thrown out. I don’t know whether his dad got him back in or not. I think his dad Spoiled Paul and his dad let him do what he wanted. He worked when he wanted . Dad was paying for everything. His dad did not want all of his finances out in the open. The attorney for the girl that was killed in the boat accident said that they were asking for disclosure of all his finances. And that after Paul and his moms death they kind of let it go. I think that is what he wanted to happen. Also Alec’s wife had some land with trees on it that was worth a lot of money. Plus, they were in the process of getting a divorce

very simple why Alex would NOT discuss why he did not look at his victims in the eye and lie, is because he is from of the jury and is looking them in the eye…he does not want them to think he is lying to them
Folks, he has no shame nor does he have the inability to express it…this guy is strategic thinking here

I have been following this trial from the beginning and it will be interesting to see what happens. If Alex didn’t do it, which I think he did, I believe he is the proximate cause of their death. The ooing and ahhing over his former partners loveliness on the stand have shown me that humans will definitely replaced by AI. We fall to easy for a 2 dimensional one sided portrayal on tv.
