Such a wild and experimental design. The scientists and engineers had an absolute field day building this update to the famous Daedalus class, and while it never made a large impact, it guarantied a lineage that has worked quietly to support civilization across the ages, even on to the Nautilus in the late 26th Century. She's a bold ship in concept, and bolder yet in appearance, charming in her own twisted way. The type of ship by which one could truly travel to destroyed worlds, and discover what beautiful things might lie there.
Interesting departure from the arrowhead design. It would not be shocking to say the globe can be incorporated as part of Project Genesis, from creating a new star to an entire system.
Forgive my ignorance but what is the point of the detachable sphere in sto? Is it as a diving bell into gaseous planetary bodies and water-based planets or for some other reason?
it can be used to provide aid for many scenarios (science observation, mobile medical unit, evacuation, etc.), Picard used the Enterprise saucer separation to evacuate the crew while the bottom half distracted any enemies that they were engaging
I’m sorry but I’m one of those who don’t like physical windows for view screens, so the thought of flying around in a glass ball doesn’t do it for me. Gonna skip this one.

This revamp of this class look so good and they made it quite big too it's on par with the Excelsior size wise :D
Beautifully done I love the resemblance to the Daedalus class

The sphere should be equipped with a holo projector they could use it to look like a small moon and observation of spieces
I headcannon that this class and other ships like it are used by Aquatic Xindi that went into Starfleet.
The Horizon class aka the disco party class!
Joking aside, it looks pretty cool.
Now I need one to put the Disco vanities on.
More like a snow globe it's just stupid!!!
Ball!
From the style the ship looks like that it is from the MOV time.
Looks kinda like a more compact version of the titular spacecraft/character from LEXX... Is the captain called Stanley? 😏
Still a strange design be a hell of a lot better looking than before
When’s the release
It is available now on PC! Simply take your Horizon/Olympic/Nobel to the shipyard, and select the "Horizon" preset!
Disco Ball
Oh! A giant space dragonfly! 😊
