Upgrade the Enterprise-F again, but I don't want Picard G; I want STO to do their own.

This was the first zen store ship I bought in the game and it’s still one of my favorites. Such a gorgeous design and such a fun ship to play with.

The details are staggering. This is likely the most polished video presentation, for the current iteration of the starship Enterprise-F, that I've seen.

They simply don't build ships like this anymore :)

As much as I like the Enterprise-G as an Enterprise, the one thing I lament about it taking on the name is that the timeline no longer permits this refit to be performed on the Enterprise-F (even if under different circumstances, such as in the aftermath damage of a fleet-wide Borg takeover) in canon. It really perfects the design.

Why do so many new Fed ships look like a re-do of the Intrepid-class?

Typhoon is nice but I find I keep going back to my Gagarin.

The Typhoon. The BUFF of STO that has finally been given a chance to shine, no longer the ugly ship seen in missions, but a awesome battlecruiser that competited against the Oddessy for title of the Federations main capital ship. Well not having the title it instead is a powerful ship that is more of a force of nature, living up to its name. Oddessy is the frontline exploratory Batlteship, She still is designed to have diplomacy first, and yet is able to decimate anything at will for its defense or offense. This is the ship that you send to impress or intimidate. Jupiter is the Premier Carrier/Battlestar: She is similar to Oddessy in grandure and scale likely has similar diplomacy capabilities as primary, her fighter wings makes her as strong if not stronger than oddessy. This is the ship you send to impress, defend, or want something surgically done. Typhoon is the Battlecruiser. Her role is as a combat vessel first diplomacy second. This is the ship you send when diplomacy requires gunboat negotiations, or you need to punch something hard in the face and several times over to get the message across. This one is a wrecking ball. Point it at something you want erased.

Did I miss something? I thought the Odyyssey Class was the Enterprise F

This vessel is very significant to space exploration, looking forward to more stations in Jupiter spaceports.

I mostly prefer the original Odyssey variant, but the Yorktown is still beautiful, and I do love some chunky impulse engines. Also, interesting take on the uniform colour palettes, looks pretty cool.

This is such a beautiful ship. The ship material they chose to use is ugly as sin though. The Odyssey material make is look so much better.

Unfortunately I missed the Typhoon by three weeks...would have loved to have this ship :(

If you do this again you need to define how you judge the ships better as this felt arbitrary even if the results are accurate.

Favorite is definitely the Typhoon. One of the most powerful ships I have, yet it's also free. And, of course, it is absolutely one of the most beautiful ships I have seen in STO.

Ok, so here is my complaint about the ships in STO. Why has it become exceedingly expensive to get ship bundles? You have to pay over $200 dollars just to get a ship bundle of 6 ships. I paid $300 for a lifetime subscription, and yet, your bundle prices continue to increase in price every time you make a new bundle. Right now, I can't even afford to make a $100 purchase, because that isn't enough for any of the bundles. Some of us fans are on fixed incomes, (I am a disabled veteran) and we have bills to pay just like everybody else, which leaves little to no wiggle room when it comes to buying luxury items. And even with your sales, it's still outrageously overpriced, the game itself isn't worth more than any other MMO on the market, so why are you guys gouging your fan base? Why has STO become a pay to win game, when at the beginning, you could get really good starships, sometimes free, but at a low cost. Now you have to be extremely wealthy just to afford a 3-ship bundle. It makes me want to just stop playing all together.

The Typhon is not only a very tanky yet nimble carrier, but also the first ship in STO which makes full turret builds viable via the +30% turret damage bonus on its ship locked console. Now if we only could get that turret accuracy bug fixed asap! Overall it was a pretty damn good year for new and often meta defining ships. Lots of fresh and daring new offerings, something for everybody in it. Now let 2025 be the year we'll finally get some good new story content.

I think my favorites overall have to be: Immersion: Lamarr-class/Voyager-A. I've got it outfitted with anything Protostar-themed I could so combat could feel more like I'm ripping this right out of *Prodigy* Season 2. That it has the Infinity as an extra, innate launchable pet *and* Nova Squadron fighters are big pluses. C-Store/Zen Store: A tie between the Achilles and the Atlantis. Both are fun, fast ships with *crazy* damage potential. If I had to give a single ship, though, I'd go with the Achilles. It's like an Intrepid geared more for combat than science stuff, and its Phaser Hexa-Cannons visual is insanely fun to watch. Event: I'd have to go with the Rex Pilot Escort. Pilot Maneuvers on a free ship, the Wingmen mechanic is a *huge* help for newer players, it has a Console that summons in more combat pets (so you're effectively a mini-Carrier, just with some pets on a much longer cooldown), and it's got a coveted 5/2/1 weapons setup. This is the "newer player graduating from easily survivable Cruisers" ship.
