I like the fact that the Guradian have apperantly two pairs of coils in the nacelles, and two small nacelles on the pylons. A starship with 6 engines and is not designed for separation. Wow.
Well not for the type of seperation innovated by the Galaxy Class. More of like what saucer-type ships had with the explosive bolt separations that could only be undone in drydock at a Starbase.
This starship was always my favorite for a relaxing cruise around the galaxy when I played sto. It always reminded me of the galaxy with some excelsior vibes. Thank you!
I never actually see a Guardian without the Terran Livery on it. Seeing this one as a Feddy ship actually caught me off guard. Not sure why, you typically only show Federation versions of ships, yet somehow, the Mirror Guardian just seems to come first between them. Still, lovely ship an lovely video! You never disappoint with your production values, only your loyalties to the Soft Side of the Mirror. 😉
Excellent design. I'm not a fan of the black-white scheme, would look better in classic aztec-ed grey, but still, a bang-up job on this one, really looks like a proper successor to the ambassador/galaxy line. As a side note - you didn't give us even a single straight-on top-down shot of the vessel - just the same bottom-angle and side-angle shots, and a few from the rear. a top-down would be nice, without it we cannot see the full shape of the saucer section.
It's basically a Fleet Support Ship, like the Ambassador became after it's time as a Flagship. It's very good at being resilient and providing logistical, engineering, and scientific reinforcement. A solid Second-Rate ship of the line. Which is why you almost never see them flying into Task Force Operations. Captains assigned as Irregulars tend to want higher performance, First-Rate vessels like the Odyssey or the Vengeance.
This is an Ambassador Class I can love. Well done.
I thought that ship looked familiar. It's based off the original Enterprise-C design.
@@daimyo2k certainly has inspiration, but it's not remotely connected in game and much bigger.

The Guardian never really clicked for me, personally - but wow, you certainly know how to make it look amazing!

Beautiful

A 25th century ambassador-class variant
Amazing video man!
So is this like an upgraded Narendra class?
Thinking the samething. 👍
Yes it was supposed to be a 25th century ambassador legacy class before the narendra class was added
Wow. Would love to this ship become Federation canon.
Verrry nice!

Looks like a armoured galaxy class.
A strange class. Never really understood its place in ST.
Great shots tho!

I would love to see the Guardian of Forever on a Guardian Class starship.
How do you do those flybys in game? Is there specific command for cameras? Please do tell. Tnx
Soooooo... at what point do we see that saucer separate?
Is that a mini-galaxy?
Larger than Galaxy
Galaxy class refit?
No, PROBERT designed NARENDRA CLASS.
Op ship
Are those naecelles in the pylons? If so, that bothers me. They need line of sight.
4 Rules of Ship Design and all.
The USS Gustavus NCC 99731 is a starship of Guardian class
