We have been blessed with so many awesome new canon and fanon designs over the last few years, but I think the Vesta will always be my favorite Star Trek ship for all time. Stars bless our incredible blue beauty, thanks for making this!
I've just finished a re-read of the Destiny trilogy, and it's motivated me this week to pick up the Legendary Caelian and use it with the Vesta skin. Nice timing! :)
hm... didnt saw one in picard, but plenty other STO ships in season 3. At the very least most of the older ships variants are there (Miranda, Akira, Intrepid etc.) that where made for STO's 25th century upgraded fleet.
The Vesta is such a unique design. It's most unfortunate that there isn't much news about Rademaker and his work. Back then he was also working on a Voyager refit for the Full Circle Fleet from the novels. Guess we never find out how it would have looked like
@@mulderatoful Sadly yes. :) Things are in the works, that will eventually create an environment for me to do more creative work. Real life somehow has to be like that and constantly throws stuff on the track. But on the virtual side: spacedock under construction, new workbees under construction, when it all comes together, the perfect environment to focus on ship building again. :)
@@josephfaber4974 now that you mention it. i certainly see design elements of both ships. Thats starfleet for you... they build a prototype wich looks unique and then the production version is altered again, but resembles it at least XD
yeaaa DS9 aint that big but yea making a miranda look like a small armor plate of it is badass XD The true size is only seen in the likes of Bridge Commander where you blow up another of them stations (basicaly all by yourself in a sovereign class (THATS how powerfull the sov is and how WEAK a non militarized Terok Nor class station is)
Beautiful design. An ongoing testament to the love fans have for Star Trek.

Embrace the elongated mono-hull. Embrace efficiency and elegance.
The Vesta class shoul'd get canon. 😎🖖

@@yard2380 I'm following, don't worry lol.
She is one of the best ships ive got in my online collection. 😊
Nice one ❤
My fav non Canon ship! I have my own named Uss Elsa!
I guess if any ship could cross quadrants, it would be this one.
Would of been cool if Voyager A was a Vesta class
Honestly the Lamarr-class looks to me almost like a proto-Vesta.

who let you cook
These shots are from STO???
Yes. Looks like a Demorecord file. The ingame film editor.
I would have loved a Captain Ezri Dax series on one of the gorgeous ships. Instead we get retro nonsense like the Enterprise G
