The Perlino Andalusian is my favorite horse. It looks like Buell which is a Dutch Warmblood....It is an incredible hunting horse and it is free and can be found in the wild by a waterfall north of Beaver Hollow. I use this horse as John with the Panther Saddle...it looks amazing and is fearless around predators....many times it has not bucked me when jumped by ambushes from NPC's or wolf packs. It stomps gators and the only time it will buck as with all horses in on a cougar or panther charge. I got charged by a Grizzly and he stood still allowing the shot. I very rarely have to smash the calm button with predators. He stands still allowing shots off on snakes with a bow with small game arrows. I have tried many horses hunting and this horse is special to me in that its bravery is stellar. What it lacks in acceleration and speed it makes up for in health and being steady under fire.
My favorite horse for Arthur to replace Buell. Buell - perhaps the best horse in the whole game - is for John, so you can keep it and not have it only in the 6th chapter.
Ah that one! Yes I know what you're talking about. I'm surprised there isn't a white andalusian since they're known for being stunning white horses with crazy long manes and tails
@@Daneliecastsgames Indeed. Only two coats available for such a reliable horse is quite a shame being one of the best looking locked behind a cheat. Maybe in the future we can see some nice story DLC, new weapons, horses and sidequests to expand this amazing universe and story.
This was my Arthur's horse. I used the dark bay one almost exclusively. She passed away in the final mission and I will forever remember this horse. I love these noble beautiful Spanish horses.
Never actually cared much for the Andys til you showed off their combat skills, always looking for a good horse to take into combat and NOT throw me off whenever there's a couger
I have a dark bay Andalusian named Maroon and it's a fantastic horse. It's great that despite being a war horse, it's quite small and very easy to maneuver in comparison to Hungarian Halfbred or Ardennese. She's not very brave around predators though, gets spooked by snakes and I tend to lose control over her when there are bigger animals around but I still love her
I’m resorting to research via RUclips due to my lack of success with the Arabian breed. I had all five of them at one time and all of them with the exception of the Rose Grey have bucked me off multiple times due to predators or even snakes. Four of them have been sold with the Rose Grey being the exception. Thank you for making this video. 🙏🏻
There is an Andalusian for free! Same stats as the Rose Grey coat, this 1 Andalusian is found in the wild at the "R" in Roanoke Ridge, near a waterfall. You can get this horse starting from Chapter 2 (although I found mine in Ch. 3) they're a rare, Perlino coat! Just tame them down, and it's the best war horse I've found so far in the game.
Demonstration of an Andalusian's impressive stableness (online): tinyurl.com/qqd678w But keep in mind he's also constantly calming it, thus might also work to some extent with other breeds. Tried it with the first Bretons available for Bounty Hunters... meh... not even close. I'm not impressed by the Bretons, may be different for the rank 20 ones, but as of now I'm looking for a less skittish breed. My Breton is constantly neighing and screaming and grunting like a hog whenever it smells a horsefly from a mile away, let alone when I dismount it when the shit hit the fan. It's somewhat ok so I know it's safe and won't get shot more than necessary, but when I'm on a mission and have to pack sth. on this horse and constantly whistle my ass off to get the horse back while I get shot at... it's a PITA, this Breton. Hence I'm seriously considering to replace it with an Andalusian or a Mustang maybe the Kladruber (rank 20)... I'm eagerly watching all of your vids to see all of 'em in action, the Andalusian's courageousness is so far the most impressive next to the Mustang's (equally). I just would like to know if they're online the same or maybe nerfed down or redone for balancing purposes. Sigh! Hard choice to lash out a thousand bucks and then maybe ending up with the same nuisance again. I rather pay less, for whatever reason they may be so brave but also so ... affordable, and then have a horse that's loyal and stands by my side and dies with my character, not constantly throwing him right into the fangs of a pack of wolves or a cougar. I'm constanly tapping the calm key when I'm riding it to make sure to have at least time to prepare for the danger before it throws me off again. Oddly enough theses horses always slow down and become sticky, like nearly uncontrollable in face of danger like a snake in the grass or when bears or cougars or wolves show up, then it always slows down and sticks there, at worst even turning into them... wth! They are not pacing up at all... I'm hammering the keys to get the horse to move, moooove, moooooooooooooove... it just doesn't accelerate. That's not natural, why would a horse do that if it is already that skittish?! But then dare to dismount it to not get thrown off and land in the mud and you can see your horse flying, leaving you behind... Arrg! And why can't a cowboy who's so heavily dependent on his horse out there in the Wild stay on a rearing horse? Why does this dude always fall off his horse when it rears? Unless you do it purposely. All of a sudden he can perform stunts with it, but not when it matters most. Makes no sense either. I like the horses' behaviour in RDR much better. I'm riding horses myself, I've never heard such loud and constantly neighing horses. They're much quieter and unobtrusive, even in the heat of a moment. They don't call the predators by screaming and standing there like: _'Here I am, come and eat me!'_ Especially trained and fully bonded horses, like, say, horses of the mounted police. Or former real warhorses. They trust in their riders in face of danger. I'm already afraid to whistle at my horse because of the horse's answer: an ear-piercing scream. :)) My oh my... these horses really ruin the immersion for me.
you are very good at explaining Horses attributes, make some other vdos on different topics and games as well. and Thanks for making this kind of vdos, these videos are very informative and helping.
My Perlino Mare is an amazing horse and I use it all the damn time, hunting and gunfights with this horse are just fun once you get used to it. I prefer race handling but this is my one exception generally.
Ever since this video I have come to the conclusion that the Perlino Andalusian is my favorite horse in the Game. The horse is truly a beast in battle and in racing OMG! I seriously recommend this horse to anyone who hasn’t used it for there playthrough. You can get this horse as early as in Chapter2. You can find this horse by Brandwine Drop next to the waterfall on the cliff.
Underrated horse, in my opinion. I came across mine near Roanoke Ridge and managed to get the horse. Seeing as it is an Andalusian, perlino coat, and it's a she, triggered some MGS3 flashback so I called her The Joy, the Boss's codename. She was pretty good.
Andalusians are the perfect breed for me especially in online. They're just the right size with great courage (usually) and really pretty! Stat wise they are also perfect as stamina isn't a huge deal for me and the same with speed, the horses health is what i need so it can tank all the bullets and live to see another day
i think this video was made before the update, so anyone still watching this: there’s a wild pearl/perlino colored andalusian near brandywine drop (northeast of the map near Annesburg)
Yes i found this one recently this horse is very good it doesnt care about cougar amboush also the first horse i had in rdr2 who didnt threw me in a cougar amboush
It’s a gorgeous horse. An she’s wrong it’s an ideal race horse. I’ve beaten all the racers and Dutch’s horse with the Perlino. An let me tell you go galloping down a path during a sunset an I tell ya that coat glows. Also when it gets wet. Again Gorgeous horse.
@@paigecosgrove654 your right about everything but if you race in rdr2 the npc will kinda keep up with your speed no matter how fast The perlino is fearless as well i like it better than a turkoman or mustang in stressfull situations
Great video. One was missed though. I checked your description and other comments. But I could not find anyone mentioning Perlino Andalusian. My suggestion to all starting a new game: complete Hosea's hunting mission and go to Brandywine drop. Wild Perlino Andalusian is standing on a ledge(right below R of Roanoke). At bond 4, it will be a tank with 10 health and 8 stamina. Good luck!
My Perlino Andalusian is truley brave! snakes, wolves, gators, even grizzlies dont scare her. Only bucks me off when cougars get too close. She's been my companion from chapter2. 2nd spot is my tiger stripped mustang (Kobe); he's also very brave and dependable but not as pretty as blondie.
The Perlino has the same stats as the Rose Grey varient. You can get the perlino andulusian early chapter 2 at Brandywine drop. If I had to pick Rose Grey or Perlino. Perlino is my pick because of the blue eyes.
I saw this video and a recommendation video after on how to get a free Andalusian. I quickly started a new play through and tamed the free Perlino Coat, named him after the sun god “Apollo”. Frickin love this horse, whenever I’m hunting for wolves or cougars, I can always let it stay still and take my time shooting off the aggressors with no complaints what so ever. Hell, I was even able to run over some of those wolves no problem. Probably one of my favorite war horses so far
There is a perlino coat near a waterfall (forgot where it was) but when I was hunting for the legendary moose I happened to turn another direction and saw the beautiful thing. I thought I had the best horse because of his color much to my surprise he had poor speed and acceleration that kinda made me sad, but it made up for speed it’s a good horse to have but ....(spoilers) near the end of the story close to the epilogue Near the end of the game before the epilogue the horse your riding does get killed it’s unchangeable it’s part of the story so I wouldn’t want to see a beautiful horse perish but I guess it’s inevitable.
The Dark Bay Andalusian looks the closest to the Liver Chestnut Hungarian Halfbred. (aka Boadecia, Arthurs old horse) It looks mostly black, but in the right lighting, it looks red and beautiful. With the right red mane and tail, i named mine, "Boadecia II" After full bonding, it lives up to the name "Boadecia". Its a good horse, and definitely worth saving up for if you want to get her early in the game.
Yes indeed. Andalusians are one of my favorite breeds in the game. The dark bay is easily overlooked but shouldn't be. In my opinion it's one of the very best. Great look, inexpensive, brave, healthy. Even if the other two coats have better stats, the dark bay is still top tier for me.
To get the other Andalusians for free. Go get a wagon doesn’t matter what size. Drive the wagon into the stables. Once inside shoot the top of the stables. Wait for the rancher to run and the doors to close. Then get off the wagon and jump into the Andalusians stalls. Feed it some treats an as soon as you see it appear on you compass. Then hop out of the stall and run out the stable. Once your at a few distances away. Start whispering it will take a few seconds but, the horses should come right to you. This works on all stables with any of the purchasable horses. Warning you might have a bounty out on you. But, it’s only 10 to 20 dollars. So that’s really the only issue.
I FOUND ONE!!! In the top right corner in New Hanover, there's a waterfall called Brandywine Drop. Under the waterfall, you can find the horse on a ciff. I'm not sure how rare they are. I was out hunting a Black Bear until I discovered a horse that needed to be studied. I recommend setting a camp nearby, save your game, visit the waterfall, and if the horse isn't there, reload and try again
I actually started to really adore the andalusian. I wish they came in more colour variants though, the perlino just doesn't do it for me. Looks either like some weird flesh coloured horse or magical fairy pink horse.
I came across the Perlino Andalusian completely by accident during the last mission strand for Jim Calloway. I was so pissed that the horse appeared while I was mid-mission and now I couldn't claim it. On my second playthrough, after using the black Arabian for a bit that I got during that Saint Denis encounter, I decided to search up where to find the Andalusian again so I can finally claim it. I got her, named her Penthesilea, and she's been my best friend ever since. Best damn horse I ever had, and I use her a lot more than my black Arabian now XD
I bought the dark bay at 126 in strawberry and named her Rapid Fire. She's one of my great traveling horses when I don't want to risk my Arabian (that bugger came out of nowhere, funny enough I found the great moose before the horse)

@@itslukalee I guess we will wait and see if Rockstar will respond to our feedback but highly doubt it. I play as a Hispanic character in game as well, I just want more Spanish horse breeds to fill up my stable! What more can I ask for Rockstar! 😭😂
Thought it was Portuguese?
a good boah Andalusian or PRE is from Andalucía, the full south region of Spain. The portugueses are the Lusitanos or PRL.
Bought the Dark Bay Andalusian today. I'm very impressed both with the beauty and the service of this horse.
Most underrated horse in Rdr2
Great video, I had an Andalusian, I liked him, fast, agile, a little strong, sometimes it looks like a racehorse and good in combat, the problem that he was kind of dizzy even at level 4 bonding.
I’m watching your videos right now as I’m replaying rdr2 and I can saw that I love the fact that in your videos you make every single horse special making them unique. I kinda want every horse now ahaha
I'm using the now added perlino Andalusian in my second playthrough and I absolutely love her! She's such a cool horse for Arthur!
Absolutety brilliant reviews...im about to start my 4th replay of rdr2 after completing it 100% as required by the game but realising i had totally negleted aspects not required..ie horses rode. your the only person ive found giving a complete excellent review on this aspect of the game. so looking forward to my next play through with your clear concise information. well done
Another great video!!! There is also the Perlino Andalusian but to grab that one you need to use a cheat code.
What's the cheat code?
@@TheGingeQueen Create random horse.(entering the code 'You want something new'.
They've made the Perlino coat a online exclusive now
You have the best horse reviews by far!!! 👏🙌
Your guides of horse breeds are very useful. Thanks
There's a perlino Andalusian that is located near the first 'R' on Roanoke Ridge on the map. Its right next to the waterfall on the Brandywine Drop.
I just came across this horse myself, she’s gorgeous. Made her my main, best horse I’ve ridden thus far! Named her Perla ;)
The best of Spain
Love the Andalusians
Hazel Jankowski
How? Their horses always run away during the shooting and when I have killed all bounty hunters their horses are gone.
@@Celisar1 you can track them, but only for a limited time.
Underrated horse, in my opinion. I came across mine near Roanoke Ridge and managed to get the horse. Seeing as it is an Andalusian, perlino coat, and it's a she, triggered some MGS3 flashback so I called her The Joy, the Boss's codename. She was pretty good.
love your videos! you really deserve more subs! thanks for all the horse info
There's also a Perlino coat available in the wild which is probably the best looking Andalusian
By far its white with golden blonde mane's and its also a beast
@@wetsponge151 That horse is a unit i do so love the white/blue eyes idk why it just looks really good
Andalusians are the perfect breed for me especially in online. They're just the right size with great courage (usually) and really pretty! Stat wise they are also perfect as stamina isn't a huge deal for me and the same with speed, the horses health is what i need so it can tank all the bullets and live to see another day
I found that my Andalusian is the fastest pure war horse I’ve ridden 🥰
Agreed. The Andi and the dapple dark grey Hungarian half bred have the same stats but the Andi is definitely faster. Accelerates faster also.
There is a Perlino Andalusian. It's one of my favourite horses in the game, and it is found in the wild.
I love the look of both the cougar and beaver saddle on the dark bay, gorgeous!
The Piebald Hungarian and the Andalusians are my favorites.
One of the best horses in the game...period !!
My first Andalusian I named El Cid, after the medieval Spanish hero. El Cid had a famous Andalusian war horse
i think this video was made before the update, so anyone still watching this: there’s a wild pearl/perlino colored andalusian near brandywine drop (northeast of the map near Annesburg)
The wild perlino Andalusian is very beautiful, pale coat and blonde mane. At bond level 4, her health is 10 and stamina is 8.
I've got a Andalusian perlino mare I cought in the wild. She's such a good girl. Beefy stats and good minded, not much bothers her.
I got a dark bay Andalusian called red aha it’s so good at max bonding and imo is the best value horse in the game
You really got many good videos on Red Dead Online! Thank you!
I love my Andalusian. Have the dark bay and named her Alouette. She'll probably be the horse I take with me to the end of the game.
Kaitlyn G I took my dark bay andalusian mare to the end of Arthur Morgan’s missions. Named her Moon Shadow.
Wonderfully executed series. Very informative. Thanks!
There's a Perlino (kinda rosey white) Andalusian over in Brandywine Drop, on top of a cliff next to the waterfall.
@@paigecosgrove654 your right about everything but if you race in rdr2 the npc will kinda keep up with your speed no matter how fast
The perlino is fearless as well i like it better than a turkoman or mustang in stressfull situations
Good luck!
That coat wasn’t in the game at the time this video was made
@@Outrigger200 ohh cool..wasn't aware of the timestamp.. thanks
Just got the perlino coat. Complete tank 👍.
The Perlino has the same stats as the Rose Grey varient. You can get the perlino andulusian early chapter 2 at Brandywine drop. If I had to pick Rose Grey or Perlino. Perlino is my pick because of the blue eyes.
Thank you! I just got my Perlino Andulasian and I was wondering if it was different from the Rose Grey or the Dark Bay 😊
The Dark Bay Andalusian is my all time favourite horse. She was my first horse to complete the story with. I called her Admiral.
Your videos are amazing, beautiful and educational! I love your voice. 😍
I think this is the horse for me when I start RDR2, a good all-rounder, health, stamina etc. and with a good temperament.
I found the Perlino one near Roanoke falls. Best horse i ever had, plus he's a gorgeous boah! Dark bay is great looking too.
There is a perlino coat near a waterfall (forgot where it was) but when I was hunting for the legendary moose I happened to turn another direction and saw the beautiful thing. I thought I had the best horse because of his color much to my surprise he had poor speed and acceleration that kinda made me sad, but it made up for speed it’s a good horse to have but ....(spoilers) near the end of the story close to the epilogue
Near the end of the game before the epilogue the horse your riding does get killed it’s unchangeable it’s part of the story so I wouldn’t want to see a beautiful horse perish but I guess it’s inevitable.
Awww The dark bay Andalusian is my second favorite horse in rdr2. Such a beautiful horse..
The Dark Bay Andalusian looks the closest to the Liver Chestnut Hungarian Halfbred. (aka Boadecia, Arthurs old horse) It looks mostly black, but in the right lighting, it looks red and beautiful. With the right red mane and tail, i named mine, "Boadecia II"
After full bonding, it lives up to the name "Boadecia". Its a good horse, and definitely worth saving up for if you want to get her early in the game.
It may not be the fastest or bravest but the Andalusian is my favorite breed. Perlino is my fave.
same
Just found a Dark Bay Andalusian at the stables north of Saint Denis.
I found mine near Saint Denis, as well, which is a Dark Bay, too. Only I got him from a lawman who was part of a posse of officers who were chasing me
I just found a Perlino coat next to a waterfall?!. In story mode...so I guess there are 3 coats.
I had a dark bay Andalusian and her name is Red Stone and she is a beautiful horse love her
A horse that "fits well with reckless playstyle" - SOLD!!!!
Yes indeed. Andalusians are one of my favorite breeds in the game. The dark bay is easily overlooked but shouldn't be. In my opinion it's one of the very best. Great look, inexpensive, brave, healthy. Even if the other two coats have better stats, the dark bay is still top tier for me.
@@julesmateo9954 I just maxed my bonding with a dark bay, and yes, it is an underrated horse! thanks for your thoughts :D
@@JacquelynLaRonde I had a one with arthur, I named her Chocolate, she was an good gurl and I still miss her.
This is amazing video I subscribed because I really do wanna know more about the rdr2 horse and ur channel is super awssome
Thanks
Love your videos on rdr2 horses! But you didnt mention the perlino Andalucia. Its tameable in game, and oh so beautiful!!
You’re 4 years late
I FOUND ONE!!!
In the top right corner in New Hanover, there's a waterfall called Brandywine Drop.
Under the waterfall, you can find the horse on a ciff.
I'm not sure how rare they are. I was out hunting a Black Bear until I discovered a horse that needed to be studied.
I recommend setting a camp nearby, save your game, visit the waterfall, and if the horse isn't there, reload and try again
to me, it is the bravest horse in the game
Finally I find a horse that won't get skidish when it sees a chipmunk. Thanks for the info.
When my Alexandra died i was heartbroken :( i rode her always into battle and she never flinched :(
Theres actually 3 coats! Theres a wild one around Roanoke and it's so pretty
I actually started to really adore the andalusian. I wish they came in more colour variants though, the perlino just doesn't do it for me. Looks either like some weird flesh coloured horse or magical fairy pink horse.
Look up a Perlino Andalusian on google. It’s beautiful
i love the dark bay and i wish it had the same stats as the rose gray. i tried riding the perlino but just didnt like the colour as much
I came across the Perlino Andalusian completely by accident during the last mission strand for Jim Calloway.
That's cute... pulling the Pronghorn before the train runs over it...
Cheah Swee Aun when? :0
I bought the dark bay at 126 in strawberry and named her Rapid Fire. She's one of my great traveling horses when I don't want to risk my Arabian (that bugger came out of nowhere, funny enough I found the great moose before the horse)
I stand corrected. I know a fair amount about horses but nothing about games. My apologies. Thanks for letting me know
Andalusian dark bay - Boadicea
The DLC Andalusian is my favorite I just like the coloring
