For those who have scarring alopecia (ccca), its not caused by tight buns, braids, or whatever. In short, your body unfortunately attacks your hair follicles, which causes inflammation, scarring the hair follicle, which is a permanent loss. The first way to try to treat this is to address the inflammation with either a steroid oil, foam, or injection. You can also do doxycycline. This is not intended to grow hair, this is intended to stop inflammation and therefore the hair loss. Minoxidil, is an option to help with hair growth.

Dont forget to massage that spot. You woyld be surorised how much it helps with the regrowth. If you ever bun your hair in the future part out your crown in a circle and do a loose plait comb the trest of your hair up over and around the crown plait. Reduces tension on the crown

Thank you for sharing your journey. I experienced thinning around my edges and shedding after I had my son... fast forward to several years later (natural for 8) and the thinning edges are back, but I didn't notice the severity until a silk press & trim. I did the same thing with switching my protective style and oils. I see improvement, but spreading of the thin area at the same time. You video was right on time... Thank you & praying for continued success with your hair journey.

I've been on Nutrafol for about 10 months now... My edges are better but not 100% back. I also use their DHT with it although I started with the probiotic supplement as well. I'm cutting off after year and my RX is a little over $90 a month. I paired the nutrafol with Viviscal with is about $30 a month so it's not cheap but I am 50 and the way my hormones are set up...

Thanks for sharing your journey and it just popped up on my feed. I’ve experienced the same thing with braids and it wasn’t until a few months ago when I went to a hairstylist to get my hair trimmed when she told me about my little spot, she recommended KALEIDOSCOPE, so I ran to the beauty supply store and I’ve been using it ever since. I just went to another hairstylist to get a hair cut and she could just see it a little bit and it was tender before I even knew that I was loosing hair; it’s no longer tender and my hair is growing back. Your video is also a reminder for me to switch up my 6 year olds hair styles. Thanks again for sharing your journey.❤

At the moment, I'm taking Geritol, pumpkin seed oil soft gels, saw palmetto, L-Lysine, curcumin, and beef liver caps daily. And will stick with that to see if it helps with my alopecia that's spreading from the top to the right side of the front of my head. I still have enough hair to cover it. But if after 6 months I see no difference then I'll try the nutrafol.
And I have also just dedicated the rest of my life to exercise. Serious exercise including meditative yoga, barre, jumping on a mini trampoline, using the Sunny Row-n-Ride squat machine to strengthen my lower body and knees, treadmill walking, cycling, and weight lifting. I just set up my mini gym at home and are just getting started. My diet is low carb, just eating meat and fruit, so my diet is carnivore.
I'm basically taking the ingredients in Nutrafol separately. Including the iodine as I take lugols iodine daily, and the marine protein with eating sardines everyday. But nutrafol has one or two ingredients I'm not taking, so I'll see what happens in 6 months.

I've been using Nutrafol for a little over 3 months. My complexion is flawless! My hair is much stronger with little shedding, growth in previously thinning areas, and added length. I use Nioxen hair serums as well as a homemade essential oil mixture twice daily and a homemade pre wash coffee/essential oil mixture when I was my hair bi-weekly. All of these remedies I found on RUclips. I have also worn a wig as a protective style and stopped coloring my hair since I began this journey. My hair is THRIVING! I can not take any other supplements with it, or I experience migraines and heart palpitations, so I drink vegetables and fruit shots that I juice for nutrients and drink more water instead. I gave this journey 4 months and then the big reveal, lol, before I go back to my stylist for a blowout and trim.
I think you have to adopt several strategies for hair growth and stay consistent even if it doesn't seem like there's any progress or you experience hair loss in the beginning; hair shedding is a natural process before new growth so be patient! I don't mind the investment because before all of this I was sooo sad that I was going bald and it affected my confidence and how I felt about myself in a negative way. I am so happy with these results! 😊

Nutrafol doesn’t contain any different or special ingredients that’s not in other hair vitamins. It’s not worth all that money.

CCCA ruclips.net/video/VZc2PBBfQUo/видео.html It’s not the bun. If you’re doing to do video you should know what you’re talking about! CCCTA is very common in African American and Asian women. The bun would not pull the crown. It would pull at te sides and temples. Think about it. would the tension be with a bun?

Alopecia doesn't have any age restrictions on it. Alopecia can happen at any age. Yes it seems to happen more often in the older population, but traction alopecia especially can happen at any age.
