Off topic but I see a resemblance of Gabrielle Union
I love Gabrielle Union. Thank you 😊
Me too
Very true
✅
I agree
For those who have scarring alopecia (ccca), its not caused by tight buns, braids, or whatever. In short, your body unfortunately attacks your hair follicles, which causes inflammation, scarring the hair follicle, which is a permanent loss. The first way to try to treat this is to address the inflammation with either a steroid oil, foam, or injection. You can also do doxycycline. This is not intended to grow hair, this is intended to stop inflammation and therefore the hair loss. Minoxidil, is an option to help with hair growth.
Thanks! Are you a specialist?
And nutrition, cut off inflammatory foods and drinks
Dont forget to massage that spot. You woyld be surorised how much it helps with the regrowth. If you ever bun your hair in the future part out your crown in a circle and do a loose plait comb the trest of your hair up over and around the crown plait. Reduces tension on the crown
Great information 💝
How do massage?
These are the best comments I’ve seen on a video, very informative
Thank you for sharing your journey. I experienced thinning around my edges and shedding after I had my son... fast forward to several years later (natural for 8) and the thinning edges are back, but I didn't notice the severity until a silk press & trim. I did the same thing with switching my protective style and oils. I see improvement, but spreading of the thin area at the same time. You video was right on time... Thank you & praying for continued success with your hair journey.
Thank you for watching. My friend is also experiencing thinning edges but she’s wearing her hair in looser styles and seeing good results. She’s also taking hair supplements. It’s a different brand but very similar ingredients. I hope this video helped you 😊
I've been on Nutrafol for about 10 months now... My edges are better but not 100% back. I also use their DHT with it although I started with the probiotic supplement as well. I'm cutting off after year and my RX is a little over $90 a month. I paired the nutrafol with Viviscal with is about $30 a month so it's not cheap but I am 50 and the way my hormones are set up...
I hope your new regimen works for you!
Thank you for sharing! I wore my hair in tight buns also and have thinning in the same spot. You are beautiful!
Thank you for watching. If I had known wearing buns in the same spot would cause damage, I would have stopped much sooner. And thank you for the compliment 😊
Thank you for this video! You're such a lovely woman!
Fenugreek Seed spritz ,along with Fenugreek oil will definitely fill in those spots, if your consistent you will see hair growth very fast.
Thank you for the advice!
Wow what a big difference ❤️
Thanks for sharing your journey and it just popped up on my feed. I’ve experienced the same thing with braids and it wasn’t until a few months ago when I went to a hairstylist to get my hair trimmed when she told me about my little spot, she recommended KALEIDOSCOPE, so I ran to the beauty supply store and I’ve been using it ever since. I just went to another hairstylist to get a hair cut and she could just see it a little bit and it was tender before I even knew that I was loosing hair; it’s no longer tender and my hair is growing back. Your video is also a reminder for me to switch up my 6 year olds hair styles. Thanks again for sharing your journey.❤
I’m glad you found this helpful 🥰🥰🥰
Looking amazing !!!! Great review. Very helpful and informative.
You're so brave and amazing for this!!! Im currently on my 6month process with Nutrafol and its working slowly for me but seeing your video and doing more research I know Im in a good path! Never switching on Nutrafol :) Thank you for giving me that reassurance and hope again. :)
You’re so welcome. I hope you continue to see great results :)
Thank you so much for sharing 😊. I was deciding if I should purchase and you have helped reassure me.
I’m glad I could help :)
That’s a huge improvement for just 4 months!
Thank you for your support. Stay tuned for an update at 8 months.
Hi
I have breakage in the same area and have been using NUTRAFOL as well!
I also use AYURVEDIC masks on wash day as well as Ayurvedic oils and teas during the week along with scalp massages.
The results have been amazing!
Hang in there! It will grow back !
Thank you for the encouragement and positive energy ❤️❤️❤️
❤️
Wonderful! What Ayurvedic masks have you been using?
So have you heard that your hair will come out after you stop taking it? I’m trying to research and see.
@@msfeefee9980 I’ve heard that too but I think it’s because you become nutrient deficient when you stop taking it, so your body doesn’t prioritize growing hair, but focuses on your main organs once again so your hair won’t thrive as much
At the moment, I'm taking Geritol, pumpkin seed oil soft gels, saw palmetto, L-Lysine, curcumin, and beef liver caps daily. And will stick with that to see if it helps with my alopecia that's spreading from the top to the right side of the front of my head. I still have enough hair to cover it. But if after 6 months I see no difference then I'll try the nutrafol.
And I have also just dedicated the rest of my life to exercise. Serious exercise including meditative yoga, barre, jumping on a mini trampoline, using the Sunny Row-n-Ride squat machine to strengthen my lower body and knees, treadmill walking, cycling, and weight lifting. I just set up my mini gym at home and are just getting started. My diet is low carb, just eating meat and fruit, so my diet is carnivore.
I'm basically taking the ingredients in Nutrafol separately. Including the iodine as I take lugols iodine daily, and the marine protein with eating sardines everyday. But nutrafol has one or two ingredients I'm not taking, so I'll see what happens in 6 months.
Thank you for sharing! I’ve heard great things about pumpkin oil. Please keep me updated. And I hope incorporating experience has a positive effect on your overall health. Good luck on your journey!
@@doseofdani You got it sis! I certainly will keep you updated! I'm subbed to you now!
Hi & thank you for the video. I am 53 and I have been taking Nutrafol for 1 month. I have also been experiencing hair loss @ the crown and hairline. It has definitely been working for me in such a short time. FYI- you are to take 4 capsules once a day means take a capsule swallow it and precede with the 2nd capsule swallow it and so forth. Please don't swallow all 4 @ one time. Have your Dr. check your blood work for deficiency such as Vitamin D. 💜
Thanks. Glad it’s working for you. FYI- I do not swallow all 4 at once time. At 7min in the video I explain that I take 4 capsules one at a time. I am also not vitamin D deficient but thanks for the advice.
@@doseofdani yes I saw that when I watched again. Good luck & thanks for sharing 💜
Oh yea I see the results it looks good thanks for sharing
Thank you for watching 💕
I have thinning in the same area. Not sure what's causing my hair loss but I've been doing ponytails for years. Currently testing for autoimmune diseases. In the meantime I think I'll try Nutrufol, certainly can't hurt. Thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome. I hope you find the cause of your hair thinning and a solution. 💕
I would look into CCCA I found out I have it and it’s common among black wines targeting the center
@@angelideslewis3241 Will do. Thanks!
Open the capsules, pour in juice. It's a nutraceutical so mostly food-based and herbs... not bitter. I use the Advanced formula and it taste like turmeric. Now, the Postpartum one isn't pleasant but still doable.
THANK YOU BEAUTIFUL SUPERWOMAN QUEEN👑 WARRIOR FOR SHARING YOUR JOURNEY . BLESSINGS TO YOU AND FAMILY THIS THANKSGIVING DAY 🙏🏽👑🌹👏🏽🌟💯
Thank you for watching! Happy thanksgiving 🥰
Superwoman queen warrior 😂
@bydanielleFrancis Maybe it's just me but the right vid looks fuller than when you flipped your head over.
I was looking for this comment. Exactly my thoughts. Her part looks thicker than before.
Praying for her hair thickening and hair growth journey 🙏🏾
Thank you for sharing 🙏🏾👼🏽
Thank you for sharing. I just bought some
Thank you for watching. I hope you get the results you are looking for 😊
Hey, I found replacing the metal combs that come with the ponytails and buns cause thinning, I always replace my metal combs with plastic combs or some other product, metal sucks.
My hair thinned in same spot. Glad it worked for you. I've used it for 1 year and it really hasnt helped. I've also gotten shots at my dermatologist and I go back I a month but not really thinking it has helped either.😢 Glad for you
I really hope you find something that works 🤞🏾
I had those painful shots two times….never again. I still have lumps in my scalp and it did not help. Lol
Nutrafol has been a life saver for my hair. I use them along with the Nourshvita lash and hair, eyebrow vitamins. I have seen a huge improvement. No more bald spots at the crown, thicker and shiner hair, thick edges. I use bumble and bumble shampoo and conditioning products/and Olaplex products on my natural hair.
I’m glad it worked for you :)
I thought nutrafol and nourshvista work the same
I would recommend rosemary oil clove fungreek, or the ordinary hair and grow gorgeous serum used both they are good however they work differently.
Could you explain in detail the steps? I never heard of it. 😊😊
Wait, which video at the end is the updated results blue or white sweater? The white sweater video looks great! I’m hoping this is the progress video
Both videos were recorded the same week. My thinning area is in a circle. When I part it down the middle it looks different from when spread out. Hope that makes sense.
Curly Hair Crisis has done interviews with trichologists who have much more insight on this type of hair loss. You may find it helpful.
Same thing happened to me…my stylist told me. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for this video because I'm considering taking but I was also told that you may have to keeping taking nutrafol as well because that is a concern for me.
I’m glad this video helped. Thank you for watching !
I've been using Nutrafol for a little over 3 months. My complexion is flawless! My hair is much stronger with little shedding, growth in previously thinning areas, and added length. I use Nioxen hair serums as well as a homemade essential oil mixture twice daily and a homemade pre wash coffee/essential oil mixture when I was my hair bi-weekly. All of these remedies I found on RUclips. I have also worn a wig as a protective style and stopped coloring my hair since I began this journey. My hair is THRIVING! I can not take any other supplements with it, or I experience migraines and heart palpitations, so I drink vegetables and fruit shots that I juice for nutrients and drink more water instead. I gave this journey 4 months and then the big reveal, lol, before I go back to my stylist for a blowout and trim.
I think you have to adopt several strategies for hair growth and stay consistent even if it doesn't seem like there's any progress or you experience hair loss in the beginning; hair shedding is a natural process before new growth so be patient! I don't mind the investment because before all of this I was sooo sad that I was going bald and it affected my confidence and how I felt about myself in a negative way. I am so happy with these results! 😊
Hi Queen awesome results ❤❤❤
Thank you 😊
@@doseofdani you are awesomely welcome Queen
Did your dermatologist do a biopsy, if not I wouldn't feel confident in the diagnosis. My sister was diagnosed with CCCA, but having a scalp biopsy. Her thinning started just like yours did, and she thought it was from styling, but it wasn't. Her hair continued to thin.
My hair is growing back as you can see in the video. Thank you for your concern.
@@doseofdani CCCA will grow back at intervals but you will loose hair follicles until the hair becomes permanently thin. Get a proper diagnosis and treatment.
@@debrabelton3161 Thank you for your advice but I’m comfortable with my decision to use Nutrafol.
@@debrabelton3161 I agree. The biopsy will help tremendously. I also thought my thinning was because of my top bun but now that I am older, the thinning is even worse. Sadly, I was having a casual conversation with my dad and he told me his mom lost all of her hair and that's why she wore wigs. I wish they had access to dermatologist and info on CCCA. The pictures she had as a teen show very thick, healthy hair. Thanks for spreading the word on it. I'm telling everyone I know!
Thank you!
Consider unscrewing the capsules and pouring content into some water with lemon juice. I normally take the Women's Balance and it taste like herbs, no problem. However, I tried the Postpartum (just to change things up) and it taste like raw fish water smells, even with the lemon juice. Ugh. But I chug it down. I'm switching back to the Women's Balance as soon as I finish these!
Thanks for sharing that suggestion! I didn’t even know they had supplements for postpartum
What if saliva breaks down its properties and it’s meant to digest in your stomach ? Would this affect it ?
I would like to add I also take nutrafol my hair was shedding so bad every time I combed it I would cry , because of the amount that was coming out and I was getting my hair done at least once a month I could run my fingers thru my hair and it was coming out by the handfuls like the lady above I went thru all the same options but for me nutrafol was the best option the very first 2 weeks I took it I noticed less shedding this will be my third month taking it I can count the hair that comes out now this morning I combed my hair and 10 strands of hair came out so I’m very pleased with nutrafol and will take it until I can no longer afford it or need it I hope this review helps someone out there a side note I do not work for nutrafol or have any affiliation with them other than purchasing their product have a great day🤗
My God i know it was already said but you seriously look like a twin to Gabrielle Union like I'm not joking 😮❤
Now that im done geeking out
1 try not to do too many ponytails it isnt good especially if tight
2 with the vitamins maje sure you drink lots of water
2 eat well if you like eatibg chicken do NOT remove the skin the skin contains collagen and that is desperately needed fir skin abd hair
3 make sure to eat fish even a tuna fish sandwich as it contains zinc it helps thicken the hair
4 eat red meat at least twice a week for the iron in it especially for women they need iron more than men because of your monthly cycle
Ps also if you're taking medication prescribed by doctor find out if it contributes also to hair loss but I was on high blood pressure pills and it was thinning out my hair
Pss theres a huge difference in your hair wow!!!!❤❤❤❤
Stay healthy and gorgeous Lady
I don't have alopecia, but I did break off my hair. I have been using Hairfinity, but I was thinking about switching. I'm not sure yet. I went to a place that wanted to do light therapy, and I was like HELL-NAH!
Thank you but for some reason it didn't work for me. I took it for 5 months.
I’m sorry it didn’t work for you but I hope you find something that promotes healthy hair growth!
Try drinking fenugreek tea every day. Also make fenugreek water n spray on your scalp n hair every 3 days. Shave a large leaf of aloe Vera place 1-2 sprigs of fresh rosemary into the aloe vera keep refrigerated. Apply every 3 days . You hair will grow.use a moisturizing leave-in conditioner one I know of that is good MielleOrganics pomegranate leave in conditioner or MielleOrganics soufflé excellent. Much suggest Queen
Hello is the side by side video with you wearing the white shirt the update of your results?
Hi! It’s actually the same day. The way I part my hair makes the spot looks different. I have another update video with visible results that you can check out:)
Try prebiotic
The most natural way to restore hair , without paying a fortune of money , Is moringa , powder or the seed oil , known to grow hair . research it , I hope I helped you
Yep 👍🏿 I was on an island and that’s all I had and totally regrew my hair: Moringa, aloe Vera, neem, henna and fenugreek
Does the pills bother your stomach? As far bloating
Hi Shauna. I’ve never experienced bloating while taking the supplements. Hope this helps :)
Where do you purchase this product? How effective is it…really??
Did you watch the video? I talk about where to but it and my experience using the product.
Did you notice a texture change taking these? I swear mine is and I’m going into month 3 and I feel like my hair looks different 😔
Hi Jessica. I haven’t notice a difference in texture. What difference have you noticed?
@Jessica Khan some of my hair is growing out so straight and will not curl up after use of Nutrafol
@@doseofdani my hair texture is coarser and doesn’t react to hair products the same anymore 😩
@@pinkpearls6083 see I’m about to send it back. I got to month 3 and it’s no longer the same 😭
@@jessicacherise4838 Mine was like that too but not after using this product. I think that's scalp inflammation.
Derma rolling will help you out IMMENSELY.
Hey! Just curious if anyone with Androgenic Alopecia has tried Nutrafol & had results?
I have androgenic alopecia and I am working with a trichologist and will be starting nutrafol next week! Fingers crossed
I have CCCA and Androgenic, I ordered my nutrafol yesterday so I’m hoping that I see even more results than I’ve already had without it by doing my dermatologist recommended treatment plan.
What does CCCA mean?
@@pocahontas6381 Central Centrifugal Cicatricial Alopecia, a scarring type of alopecia caused by inflammation.
I take two with meal. Two meals a day
That’s a good idea!
@@doseofdani By the way try the Growth Activator Hair Serum. I’m on my second. And I definitely see the growth.
These are the best comments I’ve seen on a video
Nutrafol doesn’t contain any different or special ingredients that’s not in other hair vitamins. It’s not worth all that money.
thanks for sharing...BTW you remind me of a young Gabrielle Union
So wait did your stylist not bring it to your attention>>
Hey - unfortunately, no. I saw the thin spot after my appointment when I went home.
@@doseofdani sorry to hear that! As a professional stylist they have the duty to bring that to a customer attention! Seems ethical. I wish you a speedy recovery and thank you for sharing. Stay blessed
You look like Gabrielle Union! 😱
Lol she’s so pretty 💕
@@doseofdani Definitely. 🌻🦋☀️
CCCA ruclips.net/video/VZc2PBBfQUo/видео.html It’s not the bun. If you’re doing to do video you should know what you’re talking about! CCCTA is very common in African American and Asian women. The bun would not pull the crown. It would pull at te sides and temples. Think about it. would the tension be with a bun?
It’s the bun
@@doseofdani when I see all these black and Asian women with the baldness in their crown I’m pretty sure it wasn’t caused by buns and pineapples.
@@DreamGirl650 I don’t know what else to tell you 🤷🏽♀️
I wish it was vegetarian.... :(
You’re right. The supplements don’t seem to be vegetarian but their growth serum is advertised as vegan 🌱
Maybe look into super hair by moon juice? It is vegan and a little cheaper
They do have vegan now
@@rayray7906 I saw!!! what a glorious day to be alive!!!!!
I sucked it up and went to a dermatologist and he recommended it to me, and after I went back and forth with him, he called up his dealer (lol) and it was confirmed that us veggie heads's prayers have been answered.
@Ebizzill 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Glad to hear it peach cobbler😊
Did steroids for two painful years to no avail I to am missing my crown
I’m sorry to hear that. I wish the treatment would have worked
@byDanielleFrancis thanks sweetie you are too kind!😊
Girl, it’s NOT working! Your hair is thinning more.
😂😂😂
I was confused too, I think the white sweater video is the updated one
hormonal inbalances..please look into it..cause you are way too young for this...
Sorry, that’s not the cause. Thanks for your concern.
Alopecia doesn't have any age restrictions on it. Alopecia can happen at any age. Yes it seems to happen more often in the older population, but traction alopecia especially can happen at any age.
@@doseofdani you just don’t want to listen. It’s CCCT
@@DreamGirl650 I listened to my dermatologist. She said it’s tension alopecia.
