    My hair has come out in that same area as well (by the side of my ear). But mine was nutrient deficiency… vitamin d.

    I would suggest incorporating, Keratin / collagen hair spray to strengthen hair and a good topical serum, or Rosemary cloves etc, especially if you decide to stop using the pills.

      Thanks! Yes I've been using some rosemary oil lately and protective styling.

    Thanks for sharing your story. My hair is relaxed. I’ve been prescribed with topical steroid, oral antibiotics, and started the injections…. However I am clueless on what to do with my hair in the interim 😩😩😩. Every topical oil (castro, coconut, Aragorn oil ) burns my scalp, so I’ve been using vaseline. What product do you recommend to keep my hair moisturized? How often should I wash and condition my hair? Your hair also looks straightened, is it safe to get a relaxer? Or did you wait for the inflammation to be gone?

      Hi! Girl i feel you that burning is no joke! So in the interim I wore my hair in protective styles that didn't cause tension to the direct area, so because of the location of my spot that was u-part wigs, glueless wigs or just natural/ straightened. All ways that I could easily get to my scalp daily for topical treatments and allowed me to just leave that spot alone until it was time for the treatment. If i did braids or twists, I used less hair in that area to minimize tension and didn't keep them in the full 6-8 weeks, took them out probably around the 5 week mark each time. I wash and condition my hair every 10-14 days, yes I don't have a perm but I do often straighten it because of the unfortunate gap that lack of hair causes in general...although I've been doing the wigs lately since I'm trying to grow out the damage in my hair overall from a recent (Terrible) color job I did lol. My doctor and dermatologist told me to stay away from all chemicals (outside of my treatments) on that area because the hair there is already super fragile, so I wouldn't even straighten it sometimes, just leave it blowdried and twist and pin it up. My inflammation still comes and goes, working on other ways now to keep it maintained for continued growth.

    Did you use Nutrafol shampoo and conditioner to stop your ends breaking?

    • @thedevindiaries
      @thedevindiaries  Год назад

      I haven't tried their shampoo and conditioner. I just used the hair growth supplements. I was thinking about their scalp support system products though.

      @@thedevindiaries oh I see, so the Nutrafol supplements were for new hair growth being stronger etc. I wonder what happens when you stop taking the supplements. More often, with some, when you stop using them, the problem reoccurs.

    How do you take these supplements? I notice they feel a bit plastic like, do you dissolve them in a drink or is the outer layer consumable? Thanks!

      I did have some soreness in the area within the first few hours, nothing too serious though, and only to the touch. Other than that no!
