I have very very very thin hair...lol. After taking Nutrafol for 5-6 months I did notice my hair was becoming slightly thicker. Nothing I could make a commercial about; however, there was a slight change. Then life happened and I stopped taking them for a month and any improvement was lost. Everyone is different and will see different results. Nutrafol definitely works; however, it is a slow and expensive process.
Mrs C thank you for commenting. Have you ever tried viviscal? Its less expensive and has more clinical trials. Several have told me viviscal worked for them.
I’ve taken both. I took Viviscal for more than a year and I sadly did not get results I’ve been taking Nutrafol for almost a year and after 8 months I did get some noticeable regrowth. I am 58 yr. old Caucasian women with baby fine, thin, see thru hair. I appreciate any improvement I get. That said, my renal panel was not great when I had labs done at around 9 months so I have cut back on the dose to 2 or sometimes 3 caps a day and I miss a day here and there thruout the month. I have recently added minoxidil five percent once a day and plan to stick with it. Hairloss is not a quick fix by any means. Fifty years ago any improvement was unheard of.
@@JoeCannon1 My general practitioner says “yes” I stopped taking them for about 6 weeks and had my renal panel rechecked and it was much improved. Beverly, glad to hear your kidney function has improved. There is some evidence vitamin D can harm the kidneys in high doses but nutrafol does'nt contain what I call a lot. Its about 2500 IU, similar to what some vitamin D supplements contain. Either way the important thing is you are doing better now. I am pleased :)

I’m surprised this video doesn’t have more views and likes. Thank you for the information! So valuable! Question ...should I take a multivitamin while taking nutrafol? Or ..is nutrafol a multivitamin? Are there any vitamins that I could or should add?
Bibi, Nutrafol is not a multi vitamin. Its missing several vitamins and minerals. While you can get all of your vitamins and minerals from food, if you dont eat great all the time then an inexpensive multivitamin cant hurt. Dont spend a lot. More expensive multi vitamins are not better. Be careful with gummy multi vitamins as they can sometimes be low in some nutrients. Dont worry so much about "hair multi vitamins" either. a basic vitamin that gives you 100% of the daily value for most/all vitamins and minerals is fine. They are not expensive. Thanks for your comments. Feel free to share the video on social media :)

What role do you think horsetail plays?
Some think it reduces 5α-reductase, an enzyme involved in hair loss. However I didnt see any human proof when I checked.
What happens if you take both together or can you/ should you?
That's a good question. I'm not aware of any interactions between Viviscal and Nutrafol. I'm also not aware of any proof both supplements work better together. It would be interesting to test though, wouldn't it?
@@JoeCannon1 It certainly would be. I am going to give it a go and try them together. I’ll try them for 3 months together
@@TheSadie88 Good luck. If you do it, I'd start with less than recommended for the first week or so just in case there are any problems.
@@JoeCannon1 I totally agree. Thanks for the advice.❤️❤️
I've taken Viviscal for over 9 months & see no difference.
Im sorry to hear that Christina. Have you tried viviscal? Here are some other hair growth videos Ive done that may help: ruclips.net/p/PLmliBwDoqUP_7TKOsR3wAugmLN04rS-BZ
Aren't Vellous hairs the thin ones not the thick? Arent terminal hairs the thick ones?
Yes you are correct. Did I mix them up in the video? Apologies if I did.
My nails in hair I noticed I'm taking collegen so big difference
That makes some sense since collagen is a big part of hair and nails. Here's a couple of videos on collagen I put together: ruclips.net/video/RWzpWgNvfRo/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/lLR8AJqHDew/видео.html
Please update your video to mention the lawsuit against the study efficacy as it has many flaws, biases, and miss information.
