  • How I GREW MY HAIR + Nutrafol Review (BEFORE & AFTER) Not Sponsored | Vlogmas Day 7// I started my natural hair journey in 2018 and since then, we've come a long way. All 2020 long I did not take good care of my hair the way I should have, so saw major damage and ended up chopping off 7 inches in the back and 5 from the sides…into a bob. I also started taking hair growth vitamins, nutrafol, and show you how trying these hair growth supplements affected my hair. PLUS I went to see a hair and scalp specialist to discuss my thinning spot on the back of my head that has not grown in years. Woo hoo 1 week of Vlogmas done!

      @@onlyBeemusic soooooo...long story, short. The company mistakenly shipped my package without the pills (I got the ashwaghanda serum, too). They since then were very prompt in resolving the matter. I've been taking them for about 2-3weeks and I think it's too soon to make a decision. I also take the recommended women's multi-vitamins (by Mega Food). I think things are trending in a positive direction and I'm going to give this product a fair 6mos to 1yr before I say it doesn't work. Right now, it appears to make my hair grow longer (as I can see new growth), but I'm not noticing more volume or thickness just yet. Hope that helps! ❤

      @@KishBish hi! Yes, I am. In my experience, it lengthens the hair but it doesn't thicken hair. It has not filled any thin areas..mine are camouflage-able tho. its grown very long and im happy with that. I haven't documented my journey (too much work) but I'd have to say, my hair was just past shoulder length before and now it's past bra strap length. I take both the mega food multivitamin recommended and the nutrifol. About 3 months ago, I invested in Vegamour s&c and their detox; I like the products alot and recommend them. So that's, that! 🙂

    I have CCCA in my crown. My mother, maternal grandfather, and cousins have it. Mine started in college. The front of my hair grows long enough to cover it. It looks like a shag cut. It grew back once when I kept my natural hair in twisted. I washed it every 2 months, conditioned, and gave myself rice water treatments. I did that for one year, no braids or braid hair. I was surprised how much it grew back. It was thick and full and it lasted for a while until I made the mistake of going back to tight ponytails. Now I am starting this process all over again. My mom received steroid injections in her crown. That's something I refuse to do. I am sticking with the rice water treatments. It's natural, and it works. Prayerfully, I will stop pulling my natural hair back into ponytails. As a former dancer, that's all I knew. It was either pulled up or back, but I know what I have is hereditary.

      @thedevindiaries  Год назад +1

      Mine also started in college, and I thought i twas stress for so long cause it was just thinning and not the full bald spot...until the bald spots came followed by breakage in that area. Wow i definitely would like to try the rice water treatments. My spot also fluctuates too! Has your spot stayed about the same size or has it grown over time?

    • @ridethewaves4034
      @ridethewaves4034 Год назад +1

      @@thedevindiaries My spot stayed the same. I also used to scratch in that area a lot. I never developed bald spots. Without treatments it would grow about 2-4 inches then it would break off in certain areas. I keep a large bag of white rice in the house and use strictly for treatment. I will either poor some in a bowl and let it sit in the refrigerator 24 hours before I wash. Then I strain, and after I wash and condition, I pour the rice water over my hair and let it sit for about 20 minutes. Then I raise and style. If I wore individuals, I'd put rice in a small spray bottle and spray that area a few times a week. I changed the rice water weekly. I never raised it out. I would just use a dropper and add either hemp, carrot seed, or vitamin E oil in that area to keep me from scratching whenever it dried out.

      Hi Marie,
      Thanks for bearing with us as we work through a high volume of customer requests! Happy to help!
      Nutrafol is not intended to treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. Our clinical trials did not include individuals with alopecia.
      The ingredients in Nutrafol Hair Growth Nutraceuticals are known to support healthy hair growth and address the factors that affect hair thinning including stress, hormones, metabolism, nutrition, and environment. That being said, the ingredients in Nutrafol are not able to restore hair follicles in places where hair follicle containing skin was damaged and replaced with scar tissue.
      We recommend consulting your dermatologist or primary care provider for advice prior to beginning a Nutrafol regimen.
      For a more personalized recommendation for your needs, we'd recommend you take our Hair Wellness Quiz. It delves a bit deeper into the underlying causes that may be affecting your hair - click here to start! That said, I'm happy to provide information as far as products go if you have any questions about specific products.
      I hope this helps! Please don't hesitate to reach out with any further questions or concerns - we're always happy to help. Have a great day!

    my hairs been falling out so much lately and im going bald! & my hair is so thin now.. does it help to thicken your hair?

    • @thedevindiaries
      @thedevindiaries  2 года назад +3

      Yes I saw a change in the thickness of my hair due to less breakage and shedding. I'd also reach out to a dermatologist to create the best plan for you plus ask about nutrafol!

    • @thedevindiaries

      I have not been able to pinpoint the cause. It could be a stress induced situation, genetics or something else, but I do have an update on the treatment and how it's been working: ruclips.net/video/WTf6ecd8_-A/видео.html another more recent update coming very soon!

    Nutrafol is a miracle in capsules. My order was $240.00 for three months of capsules. I have a lot of obvious thickness and growth, and am absolutely overjoyed with this product! I’m in my 4th month now, so I’ve paid another $240. They automatically send each three months supply and charge your card. I wonder what happens when you stop using it?

    For the cost of this product I expected you to have way more hair than you do and your hair is super thin. This product isn’t worth the money to me. For $150-200 I should be getting an inch a month at least.

    • @thedevindiaries
      @thedevindiaries  2 года назад +4

      Hey! Actually my hair is more fine (fine individual strands) but thick/course naturally (meaning I have a lot of those strands) and in this video very old/greasy lol. I think my updated video pinned on this one will be able to show more of my progress. The biggest thing for me was retention, my hair grows but was always breaking off for some reason around shoulder length, so never noticeably looked like it was getting any longer. That has been the biggest thing for me with Nutrafol, my hair has been stronger and is not breaking as much, so I get to keep that length, which is exciting. And everyone's hair doesn't grow an inch/month even with some help from a supplement (I wish it did lol). Obviously encourage what's best for you, but for what I know about my own hair this surpassed my expectations. For you it may be different, of course! Thanks for watching!

      Nutrafol does not contain minoxidil. Some of the components are a proprietary blend & you can't buy them yourself.
