Kiryu got shafted here. I think the Absolute Zero alone makes him one of if not the strongest versions of Mechagodzilla. Besides that he's essentially the most balanced Mechagodzilla in terms of close quarters and long range combat.
He's more likely a Jack-Of-All Stats compared to the other incarnations. The only downside of the Absolute Zero Cannon is that it can be easily interrupted by which Godzilla took highly advantage of.
They also forgot that Kiryu doesn't exactly have to return to base to recharge. Kiryu can be remotely recharged with the White Heron Support Jets and a Microwave dishes. Though I will admit that blacking out half the city to get the energy to do it means that they are limited in the number of times they can do that is a bit of a weakness.
The Absolute Zero would definitely put down any Titan on screen. Although, Kiryu is vulnerable charging it up, it takes a boatload of Kiryu’s limited energy, and we see just how agile Apex MG is with his rocket thrusters, meaning he could just dodge it.
@@major2026 that's if kiyru played it's games right could use the backjet to somewhat distract him and use the weapon on his arms and possibly pinning the mv mech if played well
@@gojiboi8908 It’d be pretty unrealistic to pin him since Apex is roughly 120-140 meters tall and roughly 100,000 tons, while Kiryu is 60 meters and 40,000 tons in full gear. He’s also strong enough to throw Kong (50,000 tons) over his head and Godzilla (160,000 tons) through the city.
Honestly my fave iteration of Mecha Godzilla is the one that was made around the skeleton of a dead Godzilla simply because the spirit of the Deceased takes over and really unleashes hell
yea kiyru is my 2nd favorite mecha but monsterverse is my favorite because an old rival returns and takes over and unleashes hell that no mecha has done before
kiryu I've actually questioned if it can be called mecha, since it's built around organic material it co7ld be cyborg godzilla, either way kiryu is a cool name
While Kiryu will always be my favorite, I agree with your analysis, that Hesei MG is more powerful, and Apex MG is a close second. Both of them essentially defeated Godzilla which was their intended purpose, and the only reason they were destroyed was because of the intervention of another kaiju. Also, Hesei MG is the only iteration of the character that remained fully on the side of the humans. Showa was an alien weapon, Kiryu got possessed by OG Godzilla, and Apex got possessed by Kevin.
@@dragonjo-fy4ki If he already drilled to the hollow earth, he would lose a little bit of energy and there is a chance that he would be weak like the battle against Apex MG
honestly Kiryu is my favorite for several reasons: 1) he was able to beat Godzilla either into retreating or near death in just about every encounter 2) the fact that he is built around the original Big-G's skeleton and is able to take control 3) his arsenal/inventory of ranged and close quarter weapons are beyond badass
In my personal opinion the Godzilla in the kiryu saga is one of the weakest if not the weakest version of Godzilla so it’s not that impressive. Not counting the losers like minilla and Zilla.
@@Jesus-jb4zz I think the reason for that was because he was in the water, like I’m not smart or anything but I think mainly the absolute zero cannons main amount of energy was used in making the layer of ice that covers the ocean while less of it is actually damaging Godzilla. Does that make sense? It probably doesn’t make sense. Look here that feat is impressive if I’m wrong sure, but my main problem is that with every other fight but that one feat just gets his ass beat all the time. He lands like maybe a couple of beams and then gets the shit beaten out of him.
@@ugp0978 is he? Because he talks way to much about the monsterverse and people act like it's the best. I mean for christ sake he has never made a video discussing varan the unbelievable
Kiryu is my favorite because he was created using the bones of the original Godzilla. His weapons were cooler and he looked more aesthetically pleasing. However in terms of power I’m gonna give it to Legendary’s Mechagodzilla. Kiryu’s flaw was that it burned up energy fast. And Legendary’s Mechagodzilla was powered by the Hollow Earth’s energy source, which provided it an almost limitless supply of energy.
This was an interesting breakdown, I really like the fact that both Heisei and Apex MechaGodzilla are complete opposite when it comes to fighting styles and the only reason why they lost was because of a 1 in a million chance that Godzilla had the right allies at that certain time, any other time he would have been killed! Great video!
Naah man if godzilla wouldn't have been weakened after kong fight, apex mechagodzilla might not survive godzilla, but yes you are absolutely true for heisei one, that completely took down godzilla
You forget that heisei and showa had decisive victories over those allies. Legendary could barely handle kong on his own, apex mechagodzilla had a neutered adversary and would have been blown to bits by any other toho mecha g
@@bikashitLegendary Godzilla is objectively the weakest Godzilla ever to appear on screen, so too is his mecha counterpart. Toho's Godzilla defeats 13 different kaiju in a row, fighting multiple at a time, face tanks a meteor and still wins against a transformed kaiju from space. Legendary barely handled kong and then proceeded to get his ass handed to him. Minilla could have destroyed apex mecha g with a blue ring.
@@honu_of_TarlachI think the reason the legendary monsters seem "Weaker" is because of the sheer size of them. They are over twice the size of the older Godzilla monsters. The power needed to even move at that size is incredible. That's why they seem so much slower and seem to get beaten more. It's because these are mountain sized monsters that are fighting, not building sized like in the older films. I think I would rate Legendary Godzilla as the third most powerful Godzilla. Only beaten by Shin (If not frozen) and obviously Earth (the guy is literally 1000 feet tall).
@mr.cookiecutter5361 Size literally doesn't matter. That's like saying Superman can't beat a giraffe. Almost all Godzillas are waaaaay above their weight class, doing impossible things like kicking kaiju over mountains or breaking through the earths crust and popping out volcanoes miles away, punching 20 mile long Ghidorah heads... Using size as an arguement is just ignorant. MV is a mid tier so far. Definitely not the weakest, but also nowhere even close to top tiers. Especially if we include games. Shin is the weakest. Its breath cut buildings and it gets shredded by bombs. Base Heisei in his first movie was outdoing that. Even Showa is more durable. And Earth is weaker than Heisei. Earth blew up a moon. Heisei blew up a monster that eats supernovas.
Outside the movies it’s shown that Showa Mechagodzilla can attack with it’s shield by walking into the opponent while it’s up. Acts as a decent melee attack.
Fun fact #1: There were multiple different designs for the Legendary Mechagodzilla before settling on the final design. Fun fact #2: legendary used attributes from Showa Mechagodzilla, Heisei Mechagodzilla, Kiryu, and The Terminator when designing Mechagodzilla.
@@maleficking6556 Oh my word. That's not what I was doing. I'm saying that Legendary came up with a bunch of designs. And, the final product combined the characteristics of the drafts.
I wish they hadn't given him generic "evil" red eyes and beam. He should have had blue eyes, his beam should have been rainbow colored as an homage to the original and 90's versions, and then when Ghidorah's will took over his eyes should have turned golden colored. That would have made his design more bearable. Because too me he just looks like a Godzilla shaped Decepticon. lol!
@@danielm.595 Mv mg 21 would probably lose if he fought a fully powered godzilla. There is no guarantee it wouldn’t be effected by godzillas atomic breath.Mg 21 never got hit by an atomic breath.Mg 21 surviving godzillas beam is theoretical and probably designed to be enough to stand g 19 s breath which is visibly weaker than the g21 s.
The original has not aged well in the special effects department but as a child it scared the hell out of me, more than most horror movies in fact. I thought it was TERRIFYING something out of a NIGHTMARE. That even Godzilla was afraid of it just added to my dread. Of all the Mechagodzillas his face has the most EVIL look to it if "facial body language" is possible on such a robot, he just looked EVIL.
Kiryu's been shown to be able to move at speeds high enough to leave behind afterimages of himself and he's strong enough to lift Godzilla by the tail and throw him around. He can definitely keep up with Apex in close combat. Also, Kiryu definitely has the highest durability of all of them due to how he was able to tank being in the epicenter of his own absolute zero blast. I guarantee none of the others are coming out of a direct hit from the absolute zero cannon in fighting condition. If we're going by their canonical stats, Apex would probably win because he has the high mobility in addition to the size advantage. If we're scaling them all to the same height, Kiryu has a significant advantage.
The only reason Heisei MG lost was that Fire Rodan's buff made Godzilla's attacks to star level. SpaceGodzilla was a star glutton, and Godzilla overcharged him with the Red Spiral Heat Ray. Kiryu Godzilla's barely planetary.
@@JustSomeGuywithEpicGrasses heisei Godzilla destroyed spacegodzilla through sheer power, his attack is not nade up of either cosmic energy or star mass

Kiryu can survive it’s own blast and I fucking doubt any one of the others can survive getting destroyed on a molecular level. Also Heisei is shit at close combat and Kiryu is fast as fuck and can fly at several times the speed of sound. Kiryu's absolute zero Canon won't work since a couple of godzilla's cells literally went through a black hole with they're molecule structure just fine. Also, judging heisei godzilla's combat skill by watching a guy in 220kg suit is stupid, read the heisei era manga for reference. By they way, all of this is before his burning form .
One detail you left out of Kiryu MG is that he's strong enough to survive his own Absolute Zero Cannon at point blank range, a detail that Death Battle made good use of . . . all he needs is one clean blast and unlike his predecessors, he's good at fitting in close quarters and getting his target into ground zero position for a one-shot kill . . . and with the mind of the previous Gojira at the controls, that's exactly what he tends to go for . . .
@SlimeBlueMS Bro didn't watch the movie. Godzilla had a chest wound that was absolutely gruesome. He left the battle with flesh hanging out and some organs punctured.

It was stated that MonsterVerse Mechagodzilla's Proton Scream only overpowered Godzilla's breath because he was tired and exhausted from using it so much.
I would definitely say that Kiryu is the strongest iteration of Mechagodzilla by a decent margin. Remember, it has good Melee and Close Combat attacks - And next to PERFECT Ranged weapons, including the Absolute Zero cannon - which, in 2002, we see decimate multiple buildings in one shot, with one round, and reducing them to atoms.
The problem is his absolute zero cannon takes a long time to charge which can be interupted or dodged, not to mention it can only last 2 hours before needing to charge.
Strongest in term of far range: Heisei Mecha Godzilla Strongest in term of close combat: Legendary's Mecha Godzilla Coolest: Kiryu Iconic: Showa Mecha Godzilla
I feel like you were too unfair to Kiryu, but I understand. In the films, there was no one to "save" Godzilla from Kiryu, so they had to essentially make his fighting incompetent so he didn't outright kill Godzilla.
@@34r343 it’s not being biased, it’s because monsterverse is the most recent and more people wanna know about the newest franchise and not the old ones, and the channel knows a lot more with the monsterverse
While Kiryu is my favorite, I honestly feel like Mechagodzilla City (the evolved form of Mechagodzilla from the anime films) could be one odd the strongest, since it was so close to destroying Godzilla Earth.
it probably helped for Kiryuu in the popularity contest that Death Battle had used him a few years ago and he won his fight. also; while I've never seen the older Mecha Godzilla movies it certainly sounds Kiryuu is the most interesting in terms of character; being created from the bones of the original Godzilla. So he's a character I'm sure many people clung to in story.
@@spider-man500 He nearly killed an extremely weak Godzilla, imagine holding on to a pull bar off the ground for 12 hours then getting into a bloody brawl then some mechanical clone appears out of no where.
Ok so we're all just going to ignore the fact Kiryu fought Godzilla to a draw in his debut movie, and then defeated Godzilla in the sequel to that movie despite not killing him? Being the only MechaGodzilla in the franchise to ever do so?
I'm more than fine with the analysis of each version. Good video overall. The the only thing I would "fuss" over is the weaknesses of Legendary's Mecha monster. That version was so powerful I feel the issue with the control panel was more of a bad writing attempt to get the story out of the hole it was in. Ask any computer buff and they will tell you that shorting out the control panel is not the same as giving a command to the remote object. The only reason that worked was for plot convenience. And even so, it only impacted the situation for a couple seconds. Additionally, you say its armor was defeated by a "primitive" weapon. I mean, yes its primitive in that its not some super lazer beam weapon. But the axe itself wasn't really what won the fight in the first place. It won after being powered-up by the atomic breath. I just kinda feel like this evaluation was an over simplification for a weakness.
Yeah Ghidorah’s Mechagodzilla would turn literally all of these Mechagodzillas into scrap metal immediately. Wickedly fast, wickedly aggressive, and absolutely colossal in size and strength. Cool points for being piloted by King Ghidorah.
@@sirankleknocker3122 his design is sweet, and his weapons and fighting techniques are kickass, but size creep has left Kiryu behind. Even though he’s the only Mechagodzilla to fully defeat Godzilla at the movie’s conclusion (and Godzilla’s only narrative defeats in this century as far as I can tell), he just doesn’t have the size and strength to match Legendary MechaG. His speed definitely keeps up with and probably outclasses Legendary slightly. It’s not enough though. Also Legendary’s rocket dashes and formidable speed are very likely a callback to Kiryu and how badly he trashed Godzilla in the first place.
To the people saying that Kiryu's two hour limitation in battle is too big a weakness- when has a Kaiju battle ever actually lasted that long? When has Kiryu fought Godzilla long enough for all his power to drain? And moreover, what makes people think that the other Mecha G's have an unlimited source of power in comparison? And on top of that, you people also completely forget that Apex Mecha G lasts a few measly seconds without the hollow earth energy source, which as the video points out- didn't end very well did it? DangerVile totally shafted Kiryu, but the people trying to disprove Kiryu's abilities against the other Mecha G's are just flat out hypocrites.
Well to be fair the 2-hour limitation meant that Kiryu needed to be carried to the battlefield with the help of jets rather that getting from one location to another on its own power like Showa and Heisei Mechagodzilla did. Besides I think the fact that, neither of the former MGs were mentioned to have a power source issue is enough reason to assume that it wasn't a problem. Remember Showa MG used alien technology while Heisei MG used futuristic technology. Both Kiryu and Apex MG were built using 'present day' technology hence the power problem.
Also, a beam derived from the Oxygen Destroyer, but 1,000,000x more powerful. And this Mechagodzilla is mass-produced, so there will be a legion of them.
This analysis leaves out a crucial piece of defense: Maneuverability. The enemy cannot destroy what it cannot hit. It also disregards the White Herons that accompany Kiryu into combat, which provide additional battlefield awareness and maintain its power supply. And lastly, it places a large handicap on Kiryu's 2 hour endurance, and ignores the fact that even the longest battles between Kaiju rarely last more than a few minutes.
@Emily Phillips I'm pretty sure Heisei's Plasma Grenade is more powerful than anything Kiryu can throw out. It likely wouldn't be used in a battle between the two, but that's irrelevant.
@@hidronultrix8252 they even already designed an entire body with weapons for melee and range combat but nope, they trashed it sometime later and just remade it into what we now have
Kiryu absolute-(zero)-ly destroys everyone. His freeze ray makes him one of the most powerful MechaGodzillas ever, second only to the anime MechaDissapointment City. Kiryu being piloted by Akane Yashiro is danger enough, it's all over once Gojira possesses him.
Watch Kiryu's eyes... When they go from yellow to red, that's when you know, you're no longer facing a mere mech. That's when you're facing the wrath of the original King. And he takes *no* prisoners.
Kiryu is close combat just like the Monsterverse Mecha Godzilla I'd say that they are both the same but since Kiryu is possessed by Godzilla 1954 and Monsterverse MechaGodzilla is also possessed by King Ghidorah they are both similar.

I like y'all analyses of all the versions and how you broke it all down. I would say Apex's version is slightly stronger. At the end of the day, all Mechagodzillas' main weaknesses is that they're being controlled by outside sources with limited autonomy. In my opinion, I think the original MG had the best weapons in spite of its weaknesses.
@@brucejedilee5290 I said his autonomy is limited. I didn't say control. Now that I think about it, his control is limited provided that the soul of the original Godzilla doesn't take over, which was an unforseen factor.
@@amitabhkumar6718 Isn't that what you're doing? I'm looking at this from a logical perspective. You haven't been paying attention to Super's weaknesses. Yes, he has great firepower, but at the end of the day, he's limited to long range and he's slow in terms of movement. Apex's MG is better in the sense of it's skills in terms of short and long-range combat. Granted, he doesn't have great firepower, but then, neither does Godzilla, lol. Putting the two together, Apex's MG can dodge some of Super's weapons and has better reaction. With it's strength, it could know out Super's eye cannons and considering it has a tail with drilling abilities, all it has to do is get close and drill through the chest cannon, making it inoperable.
I’m pretty sure the only reason why kiryu didn’t ignore the two times he fired the absolute zero cannon is because the military altered the cpu so the ghost of 1954 had a harder time taking control of the mecha in the second battle stated in the video And stated in the video both the pilots could of fired the zero cannon in both fight because Godzilla let kiryu make the first move in there fights the reason they did not is because of their combat doctrine’s showed in the vid

I agree. Being able to repeatedly fire a weapon that can slice mountains in half in conjunction with it's other armaments, there's no comparison in terms of raw firepower. Oh and can fly at speeds up to mach 5.
i'd actually consider apex mechagodzilla to be inferior given one factor that wasn't considered, fatigue. both godzilla and kong had at length fought each-other to the point where both were reaching the ends of their stamina. godzilla attacking in a more primal manner (crawling on his limbs and biting at kong) while kong was scrambling on his back to get away. all the while mechagodzilla was quite literally fresh off the press. if mechagodzilla showed up before said combat had begun both parties would have had an easier time dismantling the machine, to the point where it's missile weapons would have been a mild nuisance to godzilla and kong would easily have been able to brawl with the machine far easier. i geniunely think people underestimate how bad fatigue can get for combatants, regardless of how monstrous they are.
If you fuse all of them(assuming you count the Reiwa Godzilla Earth's Mechagodzilla City) then i bet it could overpower even the 300 Meter with shield, tail slice, sonic roar Godzilla Earth as well as its minions. Tho it would still need to rely on its cam eyes as Godzilla Earth can't be sensed with any EM radars also i don't think it could beat Void King Ghidorah as the only way Godzilla Earth even manage to touch that thing was with the help of the protag destroying an amulet from the summoner's eye
I think that Apex Mechagodzilla is the strongest, even though my personal favourite is Kiryu. And though Heisei Mechagodzilla came close to kill Godzilla I think there's also the factor that it needed the help of the psychic girl to locate the brain, it also was defeated with less help than Apex Mecha G, since one could argue Kong is a stronger kaiju than Fire Rodan
Heisei mecha absorbed an atomic beam thanks to his synthetic armor plating and fired it back at heisei g. Which means he could do that with any other incarnation, including Apex Mecha’s Proton Scream. Apex Mecha also relies on his close combat to do a lot of damage while heisei mecha could just go all-out on the latter.
Considering Godzilla lost the beam clash due to being at 50% of his normal strength and that Godzilla was said to win even if by an inch of his life by Adam should knock MV mechagodzilla down in power. Also the fact that Super Mechagodzilla took down a Godzilla that would slaughter both MV Kong and Godzilla would boost him up beyond MV mechagodzilla by miles.
It’s been awhile since I’ve seen anything involving Super MechaGodzilla, but didn’t that one defeat Godzilla because the humans studied the baby? Or was that just to kill Godzilla. I dunno, it’s been a long time
Adam NEVER said that Godzilla would have won against MechaGodzilla. He said that if Godzilla would have gone into it completely fresh, the fight may have played out differently, and put specific emphasis on the beam battle. It would have been a lot less one-sided, but there is no way possible Godzilla, even at 100%, would have beaten MechaGodzilla on his own. Historically that just doesn't even make sense. He clearly wasn't fighting them at peak power, they went 3 rounds against each other and Kong had just been revived, but even still, just watch the fight. There was literally nothing either of them could do against MechaG. Godzilla was completely helpless and Kong couldn't land anything unless he tried while MechaG was too busy beating the shit out of Godzilla to evade or counter, and even then it had no meaningful effect and just lead to Kong momentarily taking Godzilla's position on the receiving end of a beatdown. If there had been nothing poured into his control panel, he would have made quick and easy work of both of them and any other Titan he felt like beating down. There was no stopping that thing.
I think Kiryu and Apex MG should've been the ones to tie, since both have the strength and tools to be dominate in close quarters as well as having enough defence, ranged attacks and most importantly mobility in order to battle, whereas the others were essentially glorified turrets. Not to mention the Absolute Zero Cannon is pretty broken as a weapon.
Absolute zero cannon is a balanced weapon in my opinion heres my reasons. 1 its a final attack. 2 it makes Kiryu stationery. 3 it takes time to charge. 4 its a short blast not like the Photon scream. 5 its OP as heck.
Not to mention Kiryu is leagues above Apex in speed and could run circles around them, meaning that with the greater arsenal of ranged weapons Kiryu would win
@@Your_TribalChief so ? Your theories are not different some might not know it some might think it's true and some like me will have other theories like I do
APEX: "this version is the most powerful" Gives it a strength score one point lower than Heisei. They both should've either gotten 10's or Heisei gets the 9.
I honestly feel Kiryu should have been given a 10 for strength due to not only its advanced melee capabilities but the Absolute Zero Cannon may very well have been able to kill Godzilla, but was never able to make a direct hit. The only time we ever see Godzilla struck by it is after Kiryu carries him into the ocean, where they both fall beneath the waves before the weapons goes off, so we dont know if this was a direct hit. I would assume not due to how Godzilla looked after breaking free of the giant ice pillar, with Kiryu being nowhere to be found, i take that to mean that he was able to escape Kiryu's hold and avoid a direct hit.
I personally agree with Heisei MG being one of the most powerful. If Baby Godzilla didn’t call for Rodan to help Godzilla, the mecha would’ve *easily* defeated the king. And for this, the Heisei Mechagodzilla is my favorite version of the character.
This was a fantastic video great work guys. I am a little disappointed that Kiryu didn't score as high as I thought coming in dead last since he is my favorite version of the character. But still, great video, are you going to make more "Which version is the most powerful" Videos? And one last question, if Godzilla Singular Point manages to get a season two what would you like to see from its Mechagodzilla. I know my question isn't really related to the video but I am curious cause I just finished watching the show recently.
If It makes you feel any better, at least he's still a fan favorite and a playable character in the game, Godzilla Unleashed; so you can still play Kiryu whenever you want to (I would since Kiryu's my second favorite, next to Godzilla 2000).
Kiryu. Don’t even need to watch the video. Absolute Zero Cannon is ridiculously OP, because it means that as long as he has charge time he can OHKO anything. ANYTHING. He’s probably the second strongest non-Godzilla non-anime kaiju in the whole series, second only to Destoroyah

You guys forgot a lot of abilities that Kiryu had, but I agree he isn’t as strong as the others. That’s because he wasn’t supposed to be. Kiryu played the role of the underdog hero to stop the impossible threat of Godzilla. The other mechas were made to be an imposing challenge to our hero (Godzilla). So it honestly makes sense that Kiryu is weaker, but he is also the victor in both of his movies, whereas Godzilla (/Kong) was the victor in all the others. I’d say that speaks for itself.
The reason Mechagodzilla from ready player one isn’t here is because it’s not apart of the Godzilla franchise and it’s abilities aren’t that great. However if it was in this list, it would easily get last place
If have them in a equal size as in at least make Kiryu bigger and mecha earth g smaller there would be some debates but cool ways for them to fight as a battle royale or a dual but if we’re talking in their original heights earth mecha g, Heisei era Godzilla or mecha g 2021
There are two factual errors in this video, both related to Godzilla's nuclear pulse: 1: Godzilla wasn't foaming at his mouth because he had a seizure. The foaming is usually a sign that there is built up energy in Godzilla that can't be released. It also happened when he fought King Ghidorah in the 90s and it can also be seen when Godzilla Jr. fought Aggregate Destoroyah. 2: Godzilla didn't gain the nuclear pulse through Rodan's energy. He has been using it since Godzilla vs Biollante. This time though it was really beefed up and started melting Mechagodzilla.
dangerville really underestimates heisei monsters. heisei g is one of the strongest versions of godzilla. way stronger than final wars, shin and monsterverse. and possibly even stronger than earth.
I appreciate the efforts but I don't think the comparison was fair enough. So many factors were not counted in this. Besides Strength and Defense, Speed and Size also matter. Also, we need to consider their opponents, the Godzilla they were fighting. Some were stronger and some were weaker. We could not assume they all had the same strength.
I would say it’s a dead tie between MechaGodzilla II and Kiryu, but I think Kiryu has the edge because of his Absolute Zero cannon. Sure, MG II had shocking anchors that [momentarily] killed Godzilla as well as his OP plasma grenade, but I think Kiryu being able to destroy objects on the atomic level trumps any other weapon that all other MechaGodzillas have.
I agree with you but i do want to point out the fact that Kiryu was able to dodge godzillas atomic breath making the plasma grenade useless since it has about the same travel speed(i think dont at me lol)
I gotta give the win to SMG II here, the fact that he was able to actually destroy heisei Godzilla's 2nd brain is already a massive feat, it's just because Rodan revitalized goji's 2nd brain and gave him an energy boost that SMG II Lost the fight, if it wasnt for rodan, SMG II would've actually killed Heisei Goji with his weapons arsenal, I personally like kiryu but SMG II wins for me.

Just remember that mg21 only had a hollow earth SAMPLE and if he had more than that then maybe godzilla and Kong wouldn’t have that much plot armor anymore.
I completely disagree with Alastar's rating pn Apex's Mechagodzilla. Its attack is extremely strong, and as for defense, you completely missed out on his defence. He had both kong and godzilla holding both of his arms, yet managed to put them both down
Kiryu has got to be one of the strongest versions of mechagodzilla despite him being present in 2002 he is still one of the strongest versions no doubt
Personally I think out of all the MechaGodzillas, the Showa era is the true strongest. Let's go through each one to find out why. First off is the Showa Mecha itself. Having *the* biggest arsenal of weaponry out of all the MechaGodzillas with a ton of long ranged attacks, it doesn't need to approach to be deadly. The fact that even with an ally Godzilla was utterly overwhelmed by the onslaught shows how truly effective it is. Even close range it could be far worse since it did show some fighting skills against King Ceaser alongside having the unused Desto-Fire (a flamethrower that comes out of it's nose) seen on the poster. It's only weakness is an outside factor and wouldn't really come into play in a hypothetical versus discussion since it's completely detached from MechaGodzilla itself. Next up is the Heisei MechaGodzilla and whoo boy was this one overestimated a TON. Yes, it nearly killed Godzilla but not because the Mecha was strong. No, remember that it used Godzilla's weakness of his secondary brain to nearly win. Against another opponent it wouldn't have the same advantage, say Showa MechaGodzilla perhaps? If it tried absorbing Showa's Space Beams with it's Mega Buster, Showa could just use it's utterly ludicrous amount of missiles to attack instead. Unlike Showa who has autonomy (but can also be given directions), Heisei is non-sentient and relies on pilots to function. Showa could easily figure out the Mega Buster wouldn't let it's Space Beams work so it'd switch to missiles to get the job done. Kiryu steps up to the plate now and would give Showa MechaGodzilla the most trouble. Having much better agility letting him dodge the Atomic Breath, it's Absolute Zero Cannon is also an extreme threat that would obliterate Showa MechaGodzilla if it let's Kiryu get an opening. Luckily due to the sheer speed of it's firing rate, Showa MechaGodzilla could continuously bombard Kiryu with missiles, never letting it get a chance to fire the Absolute Zero Cannon. Even if he does get to fire it, the Defense Neo Barrier could very well likely protect Showa MechaGodzilla from the attack. Since the AZC drains Kiryu's battery even more, it's only a matter of time until Showa MechaGodzilla gets to overwhelm Kiryu. Ultimately it'd be a battle of nutrition, which Showa MechaGodzilla could win if it plays smart. Finally is the Monsterverse MechaGodzilla. While VERY effective at close ranged combat, it doesn't fare nearly as good from far range. Despite the size disadvantage, Showa MechaGodzilla could just fly out of Monsterverse MechaGodzilla's range and still shoot at it with it's Space Beams. If it tries firing it's Proton Scream, Showa MechaGodzilla could just use the Defense Neo Barrier to protect itself. The only effective weapon Monsterverse MechaGodzilla has is it's missiles, which obviously Showa MechaGodzilla could counter with it's own superior ones due to it's faster firing speed and stronger damage output. If a charged axe teared Monsterverse MechaGodzilla to shreds, imagine what Showa's chest beam (which sliced through a MOUNTAIN) would do. Ultimately Showa MechaGodzilla simply has such an overwhelming arsenal that no other Mecha can match. . .at least IMO.

Great video!
Naah man if godzilla wouldn't have been weakened after kong fight, apex mechagodzilla might not survive godzilla, but yes you are absolutely true for heisei one, that completely took down godzilla

@@bikashitLegendary Godzilla is objectively the weakest Godzilla ever to appear on screen, so too is his mecha counterpart.

@@amitabhkumar6718 Isn't that what you're doing? I'm looking at this from a logical perspective. You haven't been paying attention to Super's weaknesses.
I’m pretty sure the only reason why kiryu didn’t ignore the two times he fired the absolute zero cannon is because the military altered the cpu so the ghost of 1954 had a harder time taking control of the mecha in the second battle stated in the video

You know how godzilla always needed help from other kaijus while fighting MG

There are two factual errors in this video, both related to Godzilla's nuclear pulse:
1: Godzilla wasn't foaming at his mouth because he had a seizure.
This time though it was really beefed up and started melting Mechagodzilla.
the second error is useless
@@Dasherolly No it's not. The video makes it sound like Godzilla just earned this power in that fight. Which is not true, as I stated before.

True kiryu wins
I gotta give the win to SMG II here, the fact that he was able to actually destroy heisei Godzilla's 2nd brain is already a massive feat, it's just because Rodan revitalized goji's 2nd brain and gave him an energy boost that SMG II Lost the fight, if it wasnt for rodan, SMG II would've actually killed Heisei Goji with his weapons arsenal, I personally like kiryu but SMG II wins for me.

I completely disagree with Alastar's rating pn Apex's Mechagodzilla. Its attack is extremely strong, and as for defense, you completely missed out on his defence. He had both kong and godzilla holding both of his arms, yet managed to put them both down
Kong and Godzilla were just using the last of his energy so it is easier for Mechagodzilla 2021 to throw them away.
Kiryu has got to be one of the strongest versions of mechagodzilla despite him being present in 2002 he is still one of the strongest versions no doubt
He's probably last
He's dead last. His absolute zero cannon is basically useless
Imagine if thor had kong's axe
