I like the Idea of Dagon also evolving to grow a little bigger than he was.. probably close to the size of 2019 Godzilla. If you add Mothra into the mix then you would have the most OP Kaiju Trifecta of all time.
I’ve commented this a lot, have you thought about a Dagon Mech? Just like the Mech where they used Godzilla’s bone remnants for the Mech known as Kiryu. What if the Monsterverse creates a new Mech structured from the Dagon bones and Dagon could take over like the first Godzilla did with the Kiryu Mech.
Can we just appreciate on how dangerville coming up with these what if scenarios regarding either monsterverse/kaiju or jurassic World/dinosaur content keep up the awesome work guys.
keep this in mind, Dagon was about the equivalent of G14 (355 feet) at the time of fighting MUTO prime. Godzilla, in about 10 years, managed to grow about 40 feet in GvK (395 feet). Dagon would have lived for 1,000 more years. He would actually be stronger than Godzilla. But, that was in the days of nuclear testing. Maybe he would have grown less with less radiation.
I reckon part of the reason Goji hasn't been seen to reminisce about Dagon etc is to do with preservation of character. He's supposed to be a hard and largely cold blooded titan. The suggestion of sentimentality with others of his kind (alive or otherwise) could possibly lead the audience to view G as "going soft/soppy". Even with Mothra, he didn't get all cozy and loving, well not outwardly anyway. He probably pushes his emotions to the back of his mind for the most part if he even has much to speak of beyond cordial teamwork. Other than that, he's all business.
Interesting. While I do like the whole idea of Godzilla being a mostly reserved Titan who doesn't emote very much, I also think seeing him show a bit of sentimality towards his own kind would be nice to see. It'd present Godzilla as less of an animal intelegence wise, and more of a thinking creature (A very territorial and aggressive creature, but a thinking creature none the less) Besides, it's not like we haven't seen Godzilla being sad before. Difference is, Dagon was more present with the ancient peoples, while Godzilla only showed his presence after Dagon died. Seems that Dagon was the more present alpha back then. And if he hadn't died, I think he would've stayed awake and patrolling
So Dagon was the extrovert (who ended up getting killed tragically while socializing on with the surface dwellers)...while Goji was the introvert (who stayed at home, napping & chilling, until he was forced awake by the nuclear age). If Dagon really survived the battle with Muto Prime and patrolled Earth (despite the low radiation in the surface) he would have changed human history. He might have intervened to stop the World Wars (including the Manhattan Project). So no nuclear technology, no Atomic Age, no titan awakening...(including Gojira). 6:16 in my opinion i would say that it would be a pretty close battle and even a death, in the monsterverse time line when dagon is dead, godzilla came back and saved everyone! (Beside the few million but what ever) however 2014 godzilla was not nearly as fast nor as powerful in KOTM until he had a nuke blasted in his face in KOTM and became the swole g man you see today, now if he and dagon had never surfaced because the two mutos never existed they would still be monitoring but not as active, the oxygen destroyer never happened to drop on godzilla nor dagon because they were busy monitoring the oceans, because of that no nuke was blown into godzilla’s or dagon’s face, now the fight between godzilla and King Ghidorah would still happen and while yes, 2014 godzilla is powerful as heck he would have much more trouble, even with another Gojira, now because it is stated that dagon was probably not as powerful as g-man he would be struggling a bit more, Ghidorah would definitely be fighting for his life but he may take a life with him, aka dagon, leaving godzilla the last known gojira.
I don't know if Dagon and Godzilla would so easily take Ghidorah. Neither of them have received any power ups like in KOTM, and they both also would have just woken up ( as we see in 2014, that may hinder both of them ) And Ghidorah could always return anyway
the only way I could actually see Dagon being in it would be as a direct rival to Gojira. It would've been one of those "SUprise theres 2" kind of moments where Dagon would potentially be the bigger and older of the two lending more credit to Gojira defeating him. it would also remind people that the absolute biggest threat to Gojira is another member of his species.
If dagon fought and even won against the prime muto, wouldnt that mean he would be more evolved than godzilla making him the clear alpha? I recall that encounter with the prime is what triggered godzillas growth.
Dagon wouldn't necessarily have to defeat the Prime the same way Goji did. Goji's growth came from his dorsal plates being shattered and his natural evolution favoring a more muscle bound form. Had Dagon defeated Prime without the damage done to his dorsal plates, its likely he would have remained much the same. As he wouldn't need to waste radiation evolving unecessarily.
even if muto prime did lay eggs in him godzilla would’ve probably been able to atomic breath at dagon and blow the eggs up it might put dagon at a 20/80 chance of life and death but atleast it couldve helped
4:26 hold up , Arvid Nelson himself confirmed that the MUTO Prime that Godzilla fought and the MUTO Prime that killed Dagon was the different individual as the JM after impregnated Dagon , died shortly after that

@@johnathonlarkins3259 Nowhere has it been said that the Muto Prime that Godzilla killed is the same one who previously contributed to Dagon's death. It means that somewhere in the Monsterverse Dagon's killer hibernates in hiding, only to return one day.
amazing video as always!~ wasn't there a theory his dorsal plates grow into the toho style eventually as he ages? and the more spiky ones are just his sub adult-ish or young adult plates?
So basically it would be pretty boring (cuz no tension since if there’s a threat the two Godzillas would destroy it) But the way you said it is 100% how it would go if Dagon was alive
I believe Dagon and Goji would pursue Kong, especially if both species had a war with eachother. Goji and Dagon could go after Kong, since in the movie, Godzilla attacked Kong while unprovoked. He literally went out of his hunting grounds to attack Kong while he was being transported to Antarctica. Skull Island could also fall into Dagon's territory, which would be interesting to see, as it would be Dagon vs Kong. Also, Apex would probably still create MechaGodzilla after the whole two Godzillas appearing and fighting Ghidorah, or at the very least toiled with something that would make Godzilla or Dagon a bit angry.

You forgot something! Godzilla only became as powerful as he was in King of the Monsters and GVK because he was a sole Gojira, which the species took in major amounts of radiation, and would sponge any excess to be spared, yet two might actually leave an absence in it, which would create two weakened Gojiras that would probably have less power when fighting Ghidorah, but probably the same outcome, BUT, you forgot about the Ginshin Mushi!
There should be "What if...?" videos on the other Godzilla continuities too: *1.* What if Fire Rodan hadn't given his energy to Heisei Godzilla? Possible answer: Spacegodzilla would have come anyway, destroyed Earth, and Destoroyah would never have reached its perfect form. *2.* What if Earth had surrendered to the Planet X aliens in _Godzilla vs Monster Zero_ ? Possible answer: The Planet X aliens would have eventually discovered Seatopia and gone to war with it, with the Seatopians unleashing Megalon and Gigan on the mind controlled Godzilla, Rodan and Ghidorah.
This is a what if theory, If Godzilla is able to turn into a human form, still having all the powers and abilities he has, could he be able to defeat Superman or any human-like beings.
I'm pretty much in agreement on everything up to KotM. That's where my thoughts diverge a bit. With it being a 3 on one in Boston I highly doubt Ghidorah would stick around when the fight started going against him. And with neither Godzilla being juiced enough to totally destroy him. So I find it likely that Ghidorah would retreat. And with only Mothra able to chase him she'd either die trying or stay behind with her allies. I think Ghidorah would potentially retreat to the stars or wind up being chased around the planet by the Gojiras until he does so. Which would leave Godzilla and Dagon the alphas since Ghidorah bailed. Kingdom Kong would probably play out the same with the storm and Camazotz. Then GvK Kong would probably have been either quickly killed off by the two Gojira out of their instinctive dislike of his kind since both were likely part of the war. And MechaGodzilla would either have to be fully human controlled or never even built since Ghidorah likely wouldn't die in this case. And as such Godzilla and Dagon would never attack humanity since they wouldn't have been sensing Ghidorah in Mecha G so Apex would have to find another way to turn the public against them.
It could be possible, if there is a possibility of other Kongs in Hollow Earth then maybe there maybe a female Godzilla on a remote island on the surface. I hope a Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla happens in the Monsterverse.
@@micahvelez5032 but godzilla was too tired from the battle with kong... But i think mechagodzilla still stronger than godzilla (alone/no buff from nuclear bomb).

The first part of the video had left me with a question. Who was the godzilla species bigger rival/enemy/threat? The MUTOs and MUTO prime or Kongs species? Was there like a 3 way power struggle? How did the rivalries start etc?
If dragon survived, wouldnt he be much closer to a mega gojira as in the 2014 movie serizawa says in response to is this him "no, this is much older than him"
In my opinion some Godzilla species would appear in the monster verse cause dagon survived in a fair amount of time meaning the only thing that's killing them are hunters so what if some gojira's defeated the mutos that were hunting them meaning they would live long enough to reach the year 2000's
If Dagon survived, I don’t think the eco-terrorists would’ve planned to release the other titans including Ghidorah, thus the the story line of KOTM. If Dagon survived, no Mutos. No mutos means no battles destroying cities that then eco flourish from the Titans radiation effects. Without these “flourishes” from the titans, the eco terrorists have no interest in titans and releasing them.
The active Godzilla would likely have surfaced in Japan sometime after the bomb with the second appearing sometime latter, likely after the first was dealt with. ... wait a minute...

I love these theory videos from you guys and figured I'd make this suggestion since it's been on my mind since the movie came out :]
Ren would still have to deal with Kong as well
Hey Jacob great explanation of what could 👍 have happened u just broke this thing down to a tee lol. I LOVE U GUYS!!! Just what if the time-line had went this way the whole monsterverse would be altered .JACOB U AND ALISTAIR ARE THE BEST AT WHAT U DO # CONTINUE THE MONSTERVERSE!!!!!!
Neither of them have received any power ups like in KOTM, and they both also would have just woken up ( as we see in 2014, that may hinder both of them )
And Ghidorah could always return anyway
Honestly we need a movie series with 2 Godzilla’s (not monsterverse just Godzilla in general)
the only way I could actually see Dagon being in it would be as a direct rival to Gojira.
Everytime Godzilla sense unbalanced of Nature, she arose to fight the cause. Either this is another Kaiju, an Alien or a Giant Robot.
even if muto prime did lay eggs in him godzilla would’ve probably been able to atomic breath at dagon and blow the eggs up it might put dagon at a 20/80 chance of life and death but atleast it couldve helped
4:26 hold up , Arvid Nelson himself confirmed that the MUTO Prime that Godzilla fought and the MUTO Prime that killed Dagon was the different individual as the JM after impregnated Dagon , died shortly after that
Dagon’s background is unknown. But he sure still is a bad ass Kaiju and it is sad he died because of a Muto.
Godzilla: Prepare for doom
Dagon: And make it double
I liked this one
Godzilla and dagon together ruling the world would be awesome! And they would destroy ghidorah much quicker
Our Gman was smaller when he fought a lot of the Titans in the monster verse. Only when they super juiced him did he achieve OP status.
Its kind of a quote on quote sentence of how my nephew and son would work together to restore ballance, and since dagon is related to Godzilla FW 10 ytlrs later, its kind of like a father/son balance bonding time
It'll be awesome if Dagon didnt died and teaming up with the G-man
I enjoy your vids DangerVille!
4:24 I heard somewhere that the Muto Prime that Godzilla fought wasn't the same one that killed Dagon.
wdym
@@johnathonlarkins3259 Nowhere has it been said that the Muto Prime that Godzilla killed is the same one who previously contributed to Dagon's death. It means that somewhere in the Monsterverse Dagon's killer hibernates in hiding, only to return one day.
Also, Godzilla still would have still been noticed by humanity, drawn to the surface by the Shinomura.
amazing video as always!~
wasn't there a theory his dorsal plates grow into the toho style eventually as he ages? and the more spiky ones are just his sub adult-ish or young adult plates?
Yeah!
Fuck am I the only one who could use a movie with 2 Legendary Godzilla’s? I’d love for them to figure out a way to make that happen in the future. 🤘
Can you imagine a dozen of Godzilla's in the ocean bellowing like crocodiles
KOTM if that was the case:
Ghidorah: [awakensed] "GODZILLA, I'M COMING TO KICK YOUR TAIL"
[roar]
[roar x100]
Ghidorah: "Oh sh
Godzilla and Dagon would be the best duo
So basically it would be pretty boring (cuz no tension since if there’s a threat the two Godzillas would destroy it)
But the way you said it is 100% how it would go if Dagon was alive
Two kings can't rule together. Eventually Godzilla and Dagon will go head to head for supremacy.
Godzilla to Kong: "Why are oranges called oranges-" [punches kong into ground]
Dagon to Kong: "But apples aren't called reds?" [punches kong further into ground]
Kong: "WHAT THE F DID I DO TO Y-"
This would make sense to why Kong became the Alpha Titan of Hollow Earth
Maybe Dagon evolves possibly into a different color Godzilla:pink Dagon:green
CGI changes could be explained that the 2014 G is a different member of the same species as G from KOTM and G v K.
Who knows dagon might basically come back in any future Godzilla movies
Pull up kiryu creation then cuz kiryu was made with 1954 Godzilla skeleton and 1954 Godzilla actually took control of kiryu sometimes so.......
@@kurtskingdom1117 If they did a Kiryu Dagon then Godzilla would destroy it immediately
@@PleaseSeekTherapythat is true unless kiryu dagon aka mecha dagon actually was built by monarch to help Godzilla or dagon could take control of kiryu and communicate to Godzilla that it is him
Good point. Godzilla did attack Mechagodzilla because it was attacking humanity
The Muto's would never have existed in G2014 because dagon never died and so no one in the Monsterverse would have known about the titans besides some people in Monarch
Thats what he said
@@pixeldinoeditz I think many commented even before they watched the video.
Muto fan : ... Uh this is fine Ghidorah fans : Literally our monster just died in a few minutes Godzilla fans : YESSSSS
This is really cool :)
I would love to see them both fight Destoroyah
Maybe Dagon and Godzilla swapped in and out of hibernation, and that's why Godzilla couldn't help him
What if MireGoji existed in the Kiryu Saga alongside KiryuGoji?
This looks like something that would occur in an alternative universe
So what your saying is in this timeline Kong teamed up with Mecha against Dagon and Godzilla....dude that would be awesome
This would all kinda depend on whether or not Dagon would have killed the Muto Prime but nice theory as always
What if all the Godzilla species survived and the subspecies?
With how godzilla reacted to mothra's death, it's very likely that he wasn't even born yet when dagon was around
Bro he's older he was sleeping when dagon died
@@DetectiveLawlietActually, Dagon was older, as stated by Dr. Serizawa when Dr. Graham asked if the bones belonged to Godzilla himself. And I quote:
Dr. Graham: Is it...? Is it him?"
Dr. Serizawa: No, this one's much older".
Dr. Serizawa, like I said, was referring to Dagon.
Wasn't Big G asleep during drgon's roam on earth, it was the nukes that awoke him.
Two kings in one world.
Dangerville question for you, is legendary still trying to make monsterverse movies? Are there talks of a new movie? Or is it not known at this point
Woah just the recent content frequency of videos releasing it is just amazingly unexpected.
There should be "What if...?" videos on the other Godzilla continuities too:
*1.* What if Fire Rodan hadn't given his energy to Heisei Godzilla? Possible answer: Spacegodzilla would have come anyway, destroyed Earth, and Destoroyah would never have reached its perfect form.
*2.* What if Earth had surrendered to the Planet X aliens in _Godzilla vs Monster Zero_ ? Possible answer: The Planet X aliens would have eventually discovered Seatopia and gone to war with it, with the Seatopians unleashing Megalon and Gigan on the mind controlled Godzilla, Rodan and Ghidorah.
I wonder what the events would be like for Dagon and Godzilla in Godzilla X Kong The New Empire and Monarch: Legacy of Monsters
This is a what if theory, If Godzilla is able to turn into a human form, still having all the powers and abilities he has, could he be able to defeat Superman or any human-like beings.
BRUH!!!
@@redskull378 🤣
how unoriginal
@@Aquaplayer-yb1sz I still do not know whether if anyone have made a story about it.

Well, I'm going to DangerVille then.
Welcome!
@@DangerVille Sorry I'm late, took the wrong turn.
I would love to see two godzillas fightiside by side how Godzilla and king did
the posibility of other Gojira's or Kongs in the hollow earth is still there, so Godzilla teaming up or fighting another Gojira might be possible
well for the muto fight to happen, let`s just say there were 3 gojis, but one died because of le muto prime.
I think that the kongs and the Zillas killed eachother off to a few. Other monsters did the rest.
"Fun fact: Dagon Is More blacker Than Godzilla is black grey."
Dagon is also slightly green (not entirely)
Godzilla: Prepare For your Death
Ghidorah: Your weak
Dagon: it would be a quick fight
godzilla would still have his dorsal plates because as he feeds on more radiation he grows and matures making them like the ones right now
It could be possible, if there is a possibility of other Kongs in Hollow Earth then maybe there maybe a female Godzilla on a remote island on the surface. I hope a Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla happens in the Monsterverse.
It did in godzilla vs kong
@@micahvelez5032 but godzilla was too tired from the battle with kong...
But i think mechagodzilla still stronger than godzilla (alone/no buff from nuclear bomb).
@@alduinjrsonofworldeater2601 true
@@alduinjrsonofworldeater2601 I agree that Mecha Godzilla is stronger, but Godzilla is more durable and has a very high battle IQ. If Godzilla didn’t blow a hole into the Hollow Earth with his atomic breath and spam it at Kong, it would probably be better or equal to Mecha Godzilla’s proton scream.
@@micahvelez5032I mean a remake of the Heisei movie, Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla 2 in future Monsterverse movies.
Would or could there be male and female goji's sharing the planet hypothetically?
I like this theory and it story wise does seem very plausible
This was a really good video i watched it 50 times so i really understood
The active Godzilla would likely have surfaced in Japan sometime after the bomb with the second appearing sometime latter, likely after the first was dealt with. ... wait a minute...
I’d love to see a Godzilla vs Godzilla
What a crazy scenario I’ve hear!
