I think there are some unknowns that put the "Ghidorah is an alien" Idea into question. 1. Earliest life on this planet evolved without oxygen. I think an example of that is the Destroyer,. that may explain why Ghidorah was not bothered by the Oxygen Destroyer bomb. 2. How would Ghidorah be able to communicate with the Titans and understand their hierarchy if it was alien? 3. If Ghidorah was after the energy source in the hollow earth, how would it know it was there? I think Ghidorah wanted to terraform the earth but not like another world but as earth had been before the proliferation of oxygen and the lifeforms evolved after that took place. Side note: Does Kong's axe now give humanity a source of clean energy and will its use lead to conflict with Godzilla?
Yeah, it's not 100% certain that Monsterverse Ghidorah is really an alien although I like to think that it is - the GvK novelisation actually lampshades this at one point. Regarding your pointers: 2) You're right, it's pretty ironic that two extra heads and unnatural malice aside, Ghidorah otherwise looks even more like something that could've evolved on Earth than the allegedly-terrestrial Mutos do. There's this one headcanon I've read of which is that Ghidorah probably looked completely different when it first came to Earth, and its three-headed-golden-winged-reptile form and ability to communicate with the Titans are the result of Ghidorah imitating Earth life to adapt to Earth's gravity and atmosphere. 3) Well, it's been implied that Ghidorah had already been on ancient Earth for quite a while before it was frozen in Antarctica, long enough to have fought Godzilla several times. Perhaps one of their battles carried them into the Hollow Earth, or Ghidorah went down there itself looking for a base-of-operations or for more Titans to conquer. Alternatively, considering how Godzilla in GvK could instantly sense what was happening in the Hollow Earth from on the surface in Hong Kong, perhaps Ghidorah had a similar alien sense that let it detect the element's existence.
You know, somehow I always knew he was there in Antarctica for a specific reason. I just wasn’t able to connect the dots and figure it out immediately. The MonsterVerse sure knows how to keep secrets
Imagine. Every planet with life has Titans, and Ghidorah was just adding one planet at a time to his list. What was the difference between those planets and this one? We have a Godzilla
I think we might see Alan Jonah's terrorist organization coming out to cause trouble again and I think they'll star as the main evil Human faction in an MonsterVerse anime series or TV series looking to finish what they have started in Godzilla King of Monsters by searching Earth for Hollow Earth artifacts to be use in their terror attacks across Earth. Such Hollow Earth artifacts would be scattered across Earth left behind after the fall of many Hollow Earth civilizations that has gone extinct, especially during some great world-wide cataclysmic event that not only wiped out many Hollow Earth civilizations, but also wiped out many Ice Age civilizations on the surface too and it could be that Ghidorah might have triggered that great world-wide cataclysmic event in his temp to gain more power, but thankfully was stopped or else the great world-wide cataclysmic event would been much worse if Ghidorah wasn't stopped in time.
So Godzilla got his powers from the hollow earth energy...Now i have a question. What if Kong also got a power up from the hollow earth energy? Would he make a challenge against Godzilla?
With this video, Godzilla vs Kong gives a huge moral to how we are treating the environment: be careful what you wish for and how you sought to have it
I disagree because Rodan would fly over methuselah with such force and pressure it might knock him down so rodan could flip him over and it would be over from there
Interesting theory if this is, though now that Ghidorah has been ultimately defeated twice in a row. What is next now for Godzilla, Kong, and the rest of humanity? I guess we’ll know once when we get an announcement for the next sequel.
I hope it’s Destroyah. They did detonate any Oxygen destroyer in the presence of Ghidorah’s blood after Goji had his way with Kevin. Could be a perfect explanation as to why Destroyah is coming, and a perfect way to end the Monsterverse.
One Major thing to point out here is that Antarctica is not the only Hollow Earth entrance that breaks to the surface Skull Island has one as well. There are reasons to believe there is one near Atlantis hence how not only Godzilla got there so fast but the Humans as well.
I once came across a video discussing the themes and inspirations of some of the famous kaiju/titans. As kaiju from a literal standpoint are supposed to be personifications of forces too big for humanity to control. Like Godzilla is a representation of the dangers of nuclear technology and the consequences on nature. For Ghidorah, I think the video said he was based on corporate greed. Don't ask me what was the title of video or where to find it because it was probably years ago when I found it and you know of the YT algorithm. What do you think Alastair?
I’m not against anything u said but I was thinking. When ghidora “killed” godzilla. Why didn’t he immediately go for the hollow earth? But he is greedy so I guess he wanted to be acknowledged by the Titans.
Probably the latter. In the KotM novelisation, Serizawa speculates (without knowing anything about the energy source from GvK) that Ghidorah's plan is: (1) conquer the surface world and eradicate all lifeforms that Ghidorah considers a threat or just because it wants to, then (2) set its sights on repeating the process in the Hollow Earth.
A lot of it appeared to be speculation - admittedly, this channel really doesn't seem to be good at getting his Monsterverse facts straight from the videos I've seen.
I am hoping they do a Ghidorah possessed Ren thing too, but not Destroyah. I want new ideas not just recycled enemies from other movies. I get he was a cool idea but they have way too many other titans for them to bring in more ToHo monsters at this time.
@@charleshubert783 you say that like Godzilla movies don't usually end with the death of the kaiju Godzilla has to fight, so it's not like they'd have to keep Destroyah around after the movie if he was in it
It’s also cruel and sadistic, bad old Ghidorah, and what makes him worse is that he doesn’t want to rule Earth or any planets, he just wants to be evil and enjoys destruction for the sake of destruction. He’s not the tyrant of the monsters that’s Godzilla’s role-play mirrorverse 🪞 counterpart Devilzilla. Well actually he does want to rule and is a tyrant. But he is still destructive and chaotic when required to be.

I have an epic future monsterverse prediction(suggestion). What I would love to see is have a epic finale monsterverse movie where ghidorah returns back to conquer the universe eviler and upgraded as ever and attempt to wipe off all life in the universe like he’s the god of evil because definitely he’s my favorite powerful villain. It would be great because I would call it ghidorah’s ultimate revenge. 2nd suggestion, have Kong have a secret final form given by the gods of hollow earth to become a god with extreme power and have a more ultimate weapon to collaborate/team up with Godzilla. Similar thing like Godzilla has a thermonuclear final form, why not have kong have a final form? 3rd suggestion have Godzilla have a team to fight the greatest opponent destoroyah in a future monsterverse movie.
I think this was the power he would get if he got to hollow earth: By draining thermo or atomic energy from a bite or some other physical move, he can use that energy to strike against his enemy in a barrage of atomic or thermo lightning.
I didn't see or hear anything about Kevin's skull being destroyed, just the Mecha-G body it controlled. If the MonsterVerse continues, we may yet see another form of Ghidorah.
Imagine Ghidorah getting the most powerful element from the Hollow Earth... This might put the other past Ghidorah's to shame, and he got the power he needed as Mechagodzilla and almost killed of Godzilla... thankfully he was interrupted by monke himself, Kong. All I have to say is: I'm glad Godzilla didn't just kill him off quick but a slow one, otherwise he'd be ded
My idea of what could happen is that the pilot didn't die. His soul is gone but ghidorah could've potentially put a copy of his consciousness as a fail-safe. From there ghidorah could make more mechanized titans to continue trying
The GvK novelisation actually hints this might have happened - in the novel, Ren's mind is sucked into Mechagodzilla and overwritten, and the novel mentions that there's a "feedback loop" between the Mecha, the skull and Ren's body when that happens. And after MechaG goes on a rampage, Madison goes back to the trashed remains of the Skull Room and the novel simply says without any further specification, "She found no sign of the pilot."
but who’s to say Ghidorah could still be alive.. I think it’s very clear that Ghidorah took Ren’s body and ran off with it to obviously come up with a new plan later in the future to take down Godzilla and destroy earth
What ultimate powers might Ghidorah have gained if he reached the hollow earth?
- Alastair

Yeah, it's not 100% certain that Monsterverse Ghidorah is really an alien although I like to think that it is - the GvK novelisation actually lampshades this at one point. Regarding your pointers:
2) You're right, it's pretty ironic that two extra heads and unnatural malice aside, Ghidorah otherwise looks even more like something that could've evolved on Earth than the allegedly-terrestrial Mutos do.
Ghidorah is devil h
I really like how the new mechagodzilla was basically 3 enemies in one: ghidorah, mechagodzilla, and Mecha ghidorah. Wild
You know, somehow I always knew he was there in Antarctica for a specific reason. I just wasn’t able to connect the dots and figure it out immediately.
The MonsterVerse sure knows how to keep secrets
Maybe if he got the power he wanted he'd become the anime trilogy's version of Ghidorah?
Imagine. Every planet with life has Titans, and Ghidorah was just adding one planet at a time to his list. What was the difference between those planets and this one? We have a Godzilla
2:57 well Alan jonah didn't really cared as long as humanity is dead that's all that matters
The editting in your videos has gotten so good by now
The world that Ghidorah came from was rumored to have others like him but bigger
So Godzilla got his powers from the hollow earth energy...Now i have a question. What if Kong also got a power up from the hollow earth energy? Would he make a challenge against Godzilla?
With this video, Godzilla vs Kong gives a huge moral to how we are treating the environment: be careful what you wish for and how you sought to have it
Can you tell who would win in a battle between methusila and Rodan and also
please give a shoutout
Well, i think Rodan couldn´t do any damage to Methuselah but is the same otherwise
Mecha ghidora
There could be a destoryah-Ghidorah hybrid
I hope it’s Destroyah. They did detonate any Oxygen destroyer in the presence of Ghidorah’s blood after Goji had his way with Kevin. Could be a perfect explanation as to why Destroyah is coming, and a perfect way to end the Monsterverse.
@@kainepeterson6638 but Destroyah will be a form of Ghidorah
I called it when Ghidorah arrived on Earth, he was after for an energy source in the Hollow Earth.
2:11 I did not know Scylla could do that.
It's one of the many things that they go over in the graphic novels which is why I need to get them
I subscribed!! Only because ur narrative is very entertaining.
Where can I find the info about ghidorahs home planet with the black hole sun? Or was that all speculation?
Awesome story telling either way
@@RayA2ooreq its because in destroy all monsters the aliens controlling ghidorah are from a black hole system.
A lot of it appeared to be speculation - admittedly, this channel really doesn't seem to be good at getting his Monsterverse facts straight from the videos I've seen.
@@ecthox-1mork909 Yeah, most of this channel's videos are pure speculation.
We need to get this guy's channel to 500k subs then 1m subs he deserves it
Okay this tops what he did in Rebirth of Mothra 3, this is PURE evil.
Super love the Annihilation remix for Ghidorah. Amazing how much it fits!
I would like to see Kaiser Ghidorah or Desghidorah revenge for King Ghidorah in the Monsterverse.
Great video Alastair and Job.
"...bend all 🕰️,🌌 & reality, hunh??!"
(Suddenly,a blue police call box appears):
"Hello.
I'm The Doctor."
me: *hears the eerie ambient sound in the background*
also me: "sh#ts bouta get real"
My theory is that the ghidorah possesed ren will make destroyah as a weapon to kill ghidorab
I am hoping they do a Ghidorah possessed Ren thing too, but not Destroyah. I want new ideas not just recycled enemies from other movies. I get he was a cool idea but they have way too many other titans for them to bring in more ToHo monsters at this time.
@@charleshubert783 you say that like Godzilla movies don't usually end with the death of the kaiju Godzilla has to fight, so it's not like they'd have to keep Destroyah around after the movie if he was in it
lmao my theory that ren might make a mecha king ghidorah in the near future
@@charleshubert783 I bet he's gonna make Bagan. He has Ghidorah's Skull, and there's probably a few G cells laying around.
DANGERVILLE I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOU'RE INTRO MUSIC IM GOING TO SUBSCRIBE TO YOU
Good thing I foiled that space noodle's evil plan. Thanks Mothra, thanks Kong, you were helpful.
Yeah but in 2024 humans thought you were mad but Madison new you were provoked so let her in your thanks
@@nukalask123 Yeah you're right.Thanks Madison,Josh and Bernie.
Oh wait,I almost forgot, thanks Ford and Serizawa.
King Kong:sure thing..gotta say the hollow earth suits me much better. more space to move, challenges my size... I like it here
@@asafakiva1619 Well, good for Kong.Other than the temple, I don't visit the Hollow Earth anymore.Too much PTSD,from the M.U.T.O Prime. But if he needs help defending his son that he plans to adopt,I'll be there.
Holy shit imagine if the other Titans helped Godzilla defeat Ghidorah. That would’ve been amazing
Superb Video, great watch. Comes to show you just how passionate the Monsterverse is. Love all these movies.
So it seems Ghidorah was planning to become a God!
Ghidorah's already a god - it was just planning to up it.
Kong's axe when fueled up is literally just a temporary sharpness V
I think this was the power he would get if he got to hollow earth: By draining thermo or atomic energy from a bite or some other physical move, he can use that energy to strike against his enemy in a barrage of atomic or thermo lightning.
What source says that Ghidorahs original home had a black hole for a sun? That sounds too gnarly.
The first ghidorah was controlled by the black hole planet aliens. They use ghidorah as a tool to get it done.
@@stevelowmaster1891 that's not monsterverse though.
There's no source. This channel just likes making shit up and passing it as "lore".

You ever think that it is fun to speculate?
Wow you’ve been really digging Dow into this
what do you use to make your vids
Ghidorah always has a plan even if he is Died.
He is also probably the Evilest movie monster out of any movie or film!!
The true hero that got MechaGodzilla killed was the drink.
All I have to say is: I'm glad Godzilla didn't just kill him off quick but a slow one, otherwise he'd be ded
ohh so thats why
Thank God for the King of the monsters!!!! Godzilla fears no beast cause he is king, the true king and nothing is ever going to change that.
Ghidorah is three personalities in one mecha g. body.No wonder this mecha godzillas an ass kicker hes insane
My god that actually explains why he was in Antarctica!!😱😱
It is scary
Ghidorah is pog
Ghidorah is such a badass villain.
Ghidorah when he reaches hollow earth: Finally time to zap this teamers
Godzilla earth comes: oh no u ain't zapoping them
That's a real evil plan right there, lucky the earth had Godzilla and Mothra around
And King Kong who helped Godzilla keep Ghidorah from creating more destruction
Ghidorah is the monster manifestation of humanity. Power hungry, greedy, murderous, apathetic, and completely arrogant.
Not to mention petty, cruel, malicious and completely self-centred.
Poor Ren
but who’s to say Ghidorah could still be alive.. I think it’s very clear that Ghidorah took Ren’s body and ran off with it to obviously come up with a new plan later in the future to take down Godzilla and destroy earth
Is this canon? Where are you getting this information? I can't find any source material
