Some great polypropylene surf canoes and a useful Canadian type there for next to nothing.. great way to kit out a boat for coastal waters or just beach fun.
They only happen twice per year here in Long Beach but I’m going to look for more on the west coast (the Best Coast 😂) and if I find more I’ll go film them for y’all. Hope you enjoy my other adventure videos too! 🤙🏼
Please keep these videos coming Andy, wish I was there to participate, especially for the yachts......gotta get me a Catalina 36 🙂 Good job mum and daughter👍 You guys have an awesome Christmas, maybe 🎅will bring you a new ⛵ or 🚢 Andy 😁
😁 Thanks! These auctions are only twice a year so I hope you enjoy my other videos in between but I’ll bring you the auctions whenever they have them. Cheers and Merry Christmas!
Thank you yet again for posting the auction videos, Sailing Sole Family! I still can’t get over some of the big boats in the other video not even getting any bids. These are absolutely fascinating and inspiring! I hope I get to see yall at the next auction! Curious about the overall “vibe”: So far in the videos you post about the auctions, everyone seems pretty friendly. Is that the impression you all get when you’re there?
Thank you, much appreciated and I’ll tell the fam what you said. Yeah the vibe is generally good at the auctions. People come to see because it’s entertaining to watch. Hope to see you there next time. Cheers! 🤙🏼
man, i really wish they would give more warning on these auctions. 1 month ahead of time and i would have made it there. i've been saving up and 100% would have grabbed 1 of the sailboats from the last video. there were 2 i would have been happy to take, and i would have been going for 1 of those ribs too
There was only about two weeks notice and when I stopped looking to see if there was an upcoming auction they announced it the next day so I got the announcement out about a week after they announced it. So that’s my bad to an extent. Sorry bout that mane! I’ll try to get out the announcement asap next time. You also should be on their mailing list so that you don’t rely on me to inform you. Not sure if you are or not. Link to their site in the description. Cheers!
@@sailingsole oh ya, no dude, i'm on their mailing list, i jumped on it the first time you shared it when you did the first auction video last year. i actually noticed the email from them, then went to your channel to leave a comment on your most recent video just in case you had missed the email like me, and noticed you had just posted about the announcement lol. but ya, it's definitely not your fault in any way. shit, i wouldn't even know about the auctions if it wasn't for you. and even if i knew the second they posted this 1 i wouldn't have been able to make it because i needed to be here to help organize everything for all the family coming into town for Christmas and New Years, setting up hotels and all that. but if they gave at least 1 month notice, then i could have gotten everything done a couple weeks early and made. 2 weeks is just not enough time to put everything on hold and drive like 16 hours each way and spend a couple weeks working on a boat to make sure it wont sink , or finding a good dry dock, definitely not around Christmas lol

Yep. If I was there I may have bid on the canoe, the Caribe dinghy and a kayak. Where to put it all?! 🤷🏻♂️😂
Keep them coming and keep on growing..! 🙏💪👍

Not sure about most of those inflatable dinghies but I’d get one of those kayaks
For $35 I might’ve taken that Caribe home to see if I could revive it. The canoe was cool too and I agree about the kayak’s. 🤙🏼
Hey, have a Merry Christmas. You and yours.🎅
Thank you! Merry Christmas to you as well and have a blessed holiday season! Cheers! 🤙🏼🎄
