So cool to see the Speedio finally share pallets with the Kern! Been listening to the struggle on the BOM
MORE OF THIS!! please and thank you!
Amazing the shop transformation from the old knife making Tuesdays! 🙂
As a fellow machinist, I must saw WOW nice job 😁
Thanks for bringing us along once again.
Really cool! Looking forward to next Tuesday!
I'm starting to see why good knives cost what they do.
Absolutely fascinating, seeing the process end to end, thank you.
I’ve been loving the videos lately! If you haven’t already is there any possibility you could do a video on designing the geometry of a button lock. I’ve been trying to figure it out but have no way of prototyping and I am a bit confused where to start. Thank you!
Very cool to see it come together
That was great!
Terrific progress. The
tombstones design and build will be cool to see. Your Fusion 360 fluency is impressive!
a video like this as your creating a new macro program and how you think about the logic / variables would be super cool!
Very cool! Odins Eye would be a cool name for an integral. I like the layout.
Dont forget about sharpeners! Make a nice and big sharpening choil!!!!
Love the little fusion stuff. Im beginner in cnc. And realy interested in how to set things up.
Like i cant figgure out how to do a stock in design.. 😢
But yeah. Love to see how the big guys work
John, what type of filament are you using for tool tags? They have to flex around the tool holder, so I am guessing it’s not pla?
I'm interested if the price makes since. Do you have a ball park idea on around what price range will they be. Thanks.
🔥🔥🔥
Love knifemaking tuesday gawwdd dajummm
Hey John, wow its been a while. man I was hoping for a little smaller knife from you. Sorry if you mentioned this already, Any idea when I can put my name on one also any idea on pricing.
awesome content. We can learn a thing or two from your shop setup. Very impressed with the toolholder marking system for the Speedio. We are also running a Speedio and looking for a system to keep track of tools in and out of the machine. Would you by any chance be willing to share the design so we could print these for ourselves?
Kneel them coming!
It’s going to be a two piece button?!
Hello John, can you share the models for the tool tags?
Would you mind sharing the BT30 table top stand print file? they are perfect.
How do you cut off the tab while still blending the belly?
Leeeetss fuucking gooooo
Have you ever looked into using liquid helium to quench your blades. -450 compared to -320 Just curious
Liquid helium is 10-15x as much as LN2. Just not worth it.
This is a knife I will buy from you. I need a small knife.
I have a question??? : In a number of of your videos you mention how you want folks to actually use your knives, and not just “collect them and look at them now and again”.
I understand you thinking this because they are your knives AND you end up using them, of course. BUT do you think that is the same investment as a customer who doesn’t make your product.
Let me put it this way: if right now, you go out and buy a Sirogorov knife for $1040-$1125, would you use it the same way you use the Norseman that is in your pocket???
Would you toss that Shiro. in you pocket with your pens or pull it out and use it the same carefree way as the Norsman or Rask you have in you pocket now?????
I am just trying to explain and lay out reality.
With a product that expensive, I think it is an appropriate question.
Thanks for great product and content.
If you can't afford to use the knife, you can't truly afford to purchase it in the first place.
Their knives are not worth the prices they go for. And some people actually use $1k knives. Not many, but some do.
@@littlejackalo5326 the knife isn't even worth it to begin with.
So still using a budget steel and toughness ht for an expensive knife? You know that's not value.
When quenching with plates, set the plates vertical, so one side doesn't touch first. You want both sides to touch at same time.
frankly he just doesnt care... you dont buy a grimsmo kinfe for Value, its not a knive, its jewlery with a use
@@Basement_CNC basically they are ripping people off.
@tacticalcenter8658is this a shit post?
@@A0SAirsoft i made a true statement. Are you a fanboy or do you just not know simple facts?
