Will Volvo ever get their seating position correct? In a Scania, you sit IN the truck, in a Volvo, you sit ON the truck, it feels like.
Been driving a Volvo FH16 2020 now for a couple of months from mostly driving Scania before. And I must say for the longer hauls it's really not comfortable at all because of thid huge issue. The Scania you can sit lower and further back and even tilt the wheel more. Volvo has really failed on this point. And having the wheel adjustment button being a pedal in the floor? Cmon! It hurts my foot every time I need to press it (yes I drive without shoes). And on that point, the top step in the door is also smaller than the Scania so it's hard placing the shoes there when getting in. How can a major brand like Volvo fail on so many points in driver comfort? It's a mystery. Even MAN is better on almost all these points than Volvo. Stop being so streamlined and do better.
Yes,for sits i agreed with you,but this is fail from 2020. First generarion euro 6 haves better position,10cm lower and it was great,but this new is not god,like you say you sit ON truck. 🙂i drive Volvo 13y, thay make truck with low fuel consumption, but each new generation is getting worse and worse for driver.

@@alanpenaloza2642 thank you for informatio,i drve volvo only 13 years,from euro 3 to this new euro 6. Volvo is a 20 000 - 30 000€ expensive than Renault and thay need make truck who have own designe,model from 2023 looks much better than this. This is Renault, not Volvo. And this is shit in my opinion.
