    I have the GWG-1000. The sheer size, yellow hand and the army green strap attracted me. It’s one helluva G Shock with all the features.

    "w" means wave ceptor capable to receive atomic time cignal.

    Hey Jenesis, love your vids.
    I think the "W" in the code for the multiband is short for "Waveceptor" which is Casio's radio atomic clock trademark. It's on the Oceanus and Edifice lines too

    Great comparison. After checking all of them at the local G-Shock seller, I went for GG-1000-1A3DR in the end. It just looked great and the compass for trekking is fantastic. But, all of them are absolutely fantastic watches.

    GG-1000-1A5 all the way. Changing batteries every two years is hardly a hassle. Plus, as long as your battery life is still good, you're guaranteed it'll function during it's duration. Unless you end up getting lost on some remote location somehwere for several years, then battery will work fine. Imagine getting stuck living in a cave with no sunlight for years. Lol. Just carry spare batteries and tools to change them out.

    • @pendulousphallus
      @pendulousphallus 5 лет назад +3

      What are you doing where you're at risk of being stuck in a cave for years? I'd be more concerned with finding food after a day or so than my power reserve running out. I don't think dwarves taste very nice and I can't think of how else you'd sustain yourself if you couldn't see the sun for more than a week.

    • @adamsmiths3016
      @adamsmiths3016 2 месяца назад +1

      Changing the battery actually is your biggest risk. If you mess up the waterproofing your screwed. Casio won't warranty diy work.

    • @Cipher73
      @Cipher73 2 месяца назад

      @@adamsmiths3016 I don't do my own. I always take it to a good service.

    • @adamsmiths3016
      @adamsmiths3016 2 месяца назад

      @@Cipher73 still a risk with anyone. Whenever you crack the back open it can compromise the waterproofing/pressure resistance. Plus you have all those sensors that use alot of battery. Your better off going solar if you want all those sensors.

    In the past, when I was young, I've hated G-shock and especially the ones of the "mudmaster" line. This was for their dimension and for their lack of elegance. But one day a friend of mine borrowed to me one of his G-Shock, then after some months I've bought a beautiful (and very hardly used) gwg 1000 and now I've all of them... including a new one gwg 1000. I'm like an addicted poker player who alwais lose his money but continue to play in secret. I cant stop buyng G-Shock and especially the ones of the "mudmaster" family. They are, simply, too confortable under all kind of situation and they are also a LOT READEBLE compared to others mythic casio like rangeman 9400 (and to be honest for a watch readability It'll be its most important feature)

    After watching several Mudmaster reviews from both this channel and Watch Geek, I decided I definitely want a Mudmaster. After alot of research, I finally purchased the all black GSG1001A. GSG100 is a $150 cheaper than GWG100 and tough solar is all I need on my Mudmaster. I also purchased the PRW-2500 which is a ABC watch with both tough solar and atomic time keeping. I am very pleased with both watches from Casio!

    I own the GWG 100. I love the watch. The face is large which is a must for me.it does the basic things I need timer, stop watch, alarms, multiple times. The light on it is great. That sounds so lame to talk about the light but everything you need to see lights up. It's not the one little light at the bottom that almost makes it so you can't see anything because of the glare. It's my first g shock and I'm happy so far

Thank you.

    Got the GG-1000-1A3ER last summer. Switched to a black strap after a few months, and last week back to the original again. Love it, but a. the luminescent coating should have been better, and b. the LED is too weak and doesn't illuminate any of the two screens. Which is why I'm seriously considering a GWG-1000 - plus, of course, that beautiful crown, atomic watch adjustment and tough solar charging.
    HOWEVER, pricing varies wildly and, with so many reports of fake ones, am reluctant to purchase one of Amazon or eBay. If anyone's got solid info on a reliable source, I'd really love to hear about it.

      Since you have the GG 1000 go for the gwg100 it has the tough solar and , multi 6 you mentioned it also has the best illumination I have ever seen on a watch, and have Seiko (which are known for their lume) and luminox that have tritium tubes. This lighting beats them both for nighttime viewing. Just a suggestion, plus this one looks a lot more elegant it can literally go from the mud to the board room. It is an amazing looking watch. Good luck,

The only reason why i'm looking into these cse of their durability. Help me in making a the right choice between these both, Thanks.

    Help!
    I don’t have a mudmaster .
    I don’t need all the bells and whistles.
    I would like solar and analog display.
    Still learning:(
    Just ordered GST-B100-1AER and it’s my first Gshock.
    Please give me your advice on a user friendly mud master for a low tech me :) I think I’m hooked on these!
    Thanks

    i have a mudman 9000 and a mudman 9300. the mudmasters are a little too big on my wrist. the 9000 mudman fits great and the 9300 is pushing it a little...any bigger and it would look gawdy on my wrist

    Great video! I only wish you had these in person so we could see a physical comparison. I would have liked to see them side by side.

    That GG-1000-1A3 is on it's way to me. Currently looking to find different band colors to switch it up, but they're wanting large dollars for them ...

    I don’t have a Mudmaster, but I will get all 4, just to be safe. A technical question, though:
    The Mudmaster has a barometer, thermometer, and altimeter. Are these sensors affected by body temperature, thus corrupting a correct readout? I hope the community can help with a reply? Thank you for a great video and a great channel, @JenesisJones!

      Go on amazon and order the gsg 100. It is a straightforward watch that isn't too big and will last forever. This thing is tough!
      It doesn't have all the b.s. on it, like a compass, thermometer, barometer, altimeter. These are great if you use them, but for hiking I have dedicated units for each as ,most serious hikers will. I think this will suit your needs perfectly not to confusing and you wkknt accidently getg stuck in the working feature, which happens when things get to complex. I recently returned the gg1000 due to low legibility at night, (which the gwg1000 also suffers from) i got the gsg 100, which was $100 less than the gwg 100, same watching lackjjng the multi band 6. The gsg 100 kks solar only but it sounds like that shou,d be great for you. You will never have to change the battery. Order on amazon and you can
      return it no questions asked if you don't like it. The safest way to purchase in my opinion. I hope this wasn't to long of an answer. Good luck!

    Hello, I'm new to the commenting world & I have a question or 2. Presently I have a DW-5600E, love the watch works great after 5 years. My question is, has Casio ever entertained the possibility of a pocket watch? It could be worn on the belt in a small holster of some sort. If Timex can do it so can Casio. With your product line I believe that they would sell like crazy. I'm 67 years old, love your product. Just call me old school. Thanks for your time.
