“This new MUDMASTER model was created especially for those whose work takes it into areas where piles of rubble, dirt, and debris are present.
A special vibration-resistant construction lets them stand up to wear while operating cutters, crushers, drills and other heavy machinery to clear away large obstacles. This is CASIO's first analog watch to come with Mud Resist construction, which helps to ensure that nothing gets into the watch when down and dirty work takes you deep into the dirt and sludge. Multiple gaskets are used on the pipes that guide buttons and shafts, which keeps mud out. These pipes not only act to protect buttons from impact, they also enhance button operation. The screw-in force of the screw lock bezel on an internal gasket further increases mud resistance.
A new bezel structure lets you visually check whether the bezel has been screwed in adequately. In addition, Triple Sensor Version 3 capabilities provide instant access to direction, barometric pressure, and temperature information when needed under tough conditions.
The face of the watch is marked with large Arabian numerals as 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock for easy reading. The face is illuminated by a double LED light and protected by a sapphire crystal to ensure high visibility under virtually any conditions imaginable. The band surface is processed to resemble a cloth band texture, and the hour and minute hands are shaped with points that make them resemble warning markers. All buttons have a checkered surface for surer operation, and the overall design is tough and rugged.”

I bought a Mudmaster GG-1000 on my way home to Michigan after being with my dad in Tennessee during his final month of life. I think I felt a need to buy something special to help deal with the sadness I was feeling. It was an impulsive and expensive purchase, but it appealed to me because it was rugged, highly functional and incredibly beautiful. It’s been over two years now, and I still love the watch! An added bonus: it reminds me of those special few weeks with my dad.

I have the GG too mate. I always wear it on my dirt bike or when I’m in the gym. It’s a beast.
I always loved G-Shocks. But ever since I got this particular model, GWG 1000 1A3, I do smile every time I put it on my wrist. Looks so cool. Military, manly and utterly badass. Brilliant!
Absolutely agree! I am surprised my 1A3 actually relegated my MTG to the shelf when both were purchased just 2 weeks between each other. I now see my Mudmaster as my primary off-work G-Shock while the MTG is what I wear to work. I totally agree that G-Shocks are in a league of their own.. its not about what prestigious logo is on the watch face but rather how badass it makes you look sitting on your wrist.
I bought one back in 2016 in the Rescue Red edition. Still my favorite watch I own.
As a tradesman I love my GWG1000-1A3, I wear it grinding, working with dust and concrete, working on the car, it bashes against walls and metal and is unphased, the saphire protection was the selling point for me, flawless in any environment! The resin has some scuffs but hardly noticeable and that's what it's there for 😉

BTW the temperature doesn't work, you have to calibrate the sensor. You need to know the exact temperature in your room and then calibrate the sensor, as it only reads the difference between the temperature you set it into. For example your room temp is exactly 24C you set your watch to that and if it goes up or down your sensor will bring it up or down, simple. Nice video man, I have my Mudmaster for 5 years now and I think this is a watch for a lifetime. Bless!

The altimeter on this watch is particularly satisfying as you ascend and descend on a plane, and I was pleasantly surprised at its accuracy.

I'm glad to say that I added this watch to my Gshock collection. The Mudmaster is my Grail of all of my Gshock MUDMAN models, my army green Gshock Rangeman with the negative display is next in line.

Just got mine. Waited a while but worth it. Thanks for the video. I needed a strong watch for what I do daily. I wear other ones to other occasions but this one is for the hit because it takes the hit, the pressure, the high temperatures up to 49 Celsius etc... its already under fire right, tested all day long. Worth it.
Pulled 8 OEF/OIF, combat tours....and I understand, respect and appreciate exactly what you mean about this watch. It's a survivable, functional mood-elevator
Great review. I own many g shocks and been wearing the rangeman 9400. This review help me decide on the mudmaster. I went with the gwg1000-1a1 blacked out and I couldn’t be happier, solar atomic can’t be beat. Definitely a badass watch. Keep up the good work

Got this watch 6 months ago and the god tier lume on this particular colorway makes telling time way easy without needing a bright light especially after the 1mc announce darken ship and all white lights get replaced with red lights

Great video. I love mine too. I have the same model and I also love colours and the high contrast markers. Perfect. I wear it in the military and it fits right in. Gets it done. I use all of the features, aside from the altimeter. Love it.

One of the best GWG1000-Videos. I own many other watches, but the GWG1000 is special. I don't know why, but I only ever wanted the GWG1000. I think the color contrasts with the green, yellow, black and white are simply stunning. I have a different keeper on the bracelet because the metal keeper is just too big and keeps wobbling. The clasp is easy to open because it has a spring bar.
I like the absolute accuracy, that the second hand hits every index 100%, the robustness, the versatility and the originality.

Great video brother! I love my mudmaster. My wife got it for me for Christmas. When I first got it, I would constantly ask people which way north was, then I would use my watch to show them LOL. I did the same thing with the temperature 😂

I own this exact same watch since december 2016. Been wearing it eversince. Battery died twice but it can be recharge under the sun thanks to its solar energy. The best and the longest watch i've ever put on my wrist😊.

Always found multiband 6 to be excellent to have. Knowing the watch is never more than half a second out until a recalibrates every night, is a buzz. Almost sometimes feel like time revolves around the watch, instead of it being the watch that follows time. Never gets old.
Yes, I own several G-Shocks as well and this one is by far my most favorite of the pack!

Hey Tarik, I have the GG-B100 as well and now I’m looking to go with this GWG-1000. I know they are both beasts but how would you compare those two?
@@jlruiz7634 hey man, I ended up selling the GG-B100 one month after getting the GWG. IMO it is a superior watch, from built quality, tough solar, MB6, sapphire glass, looks etc.
However, you might consider the newly released GWG-2000. Not of a big difference in price compared to 1000.

I have the same watch for last 3 years and it’s a incredible watch. It is by far most worry free watching u can have on your wrist and comes in handy when you love outdoor life. I have Breitling, Rolex also and believe or not this is my favorite. If you can buy one made from Japan if you can find one.

I love mine. I have the GGB100-1A. I've had it a few years now and just did the first battery replacement Friday. The only thing I want to change is the band. I want to put an OD one like you have on it. I use the features a lot due to my lifestyle. The compass, altimeter and barometer are extremely important to me. My main thing as far as aesthetics goes is the weaved carbon fiber. I'm a big fan of carbon fiber

The Altimeter function I find very useful for map reading. When u have ur map out it’s good to be able to know your elevation to be able to pinpoint you’re location on a ridge etc. It helps you with you’re 3D perspective

Yep finally was able to treat myself, just purchased this on sale (had my eye on this for about 3 years now but couldn’t afford it at full price £660) and totally agree it does make you smile to own this 👍👊

Bought this watch in the UK for £330 , don’t ask me how , couldn’t believe it ! This watch is just sheer class, looks good , functional timepiece and just a piece of granite in terms of strength . Best money ever spent on a timepiece, I absolutely love it !!
I have to say that I agree with EVERYTHING you said in the video. I have owned many watches in my life, but this GWG 1000 1A3JF MudMaster is by far the best watch I ever spent money on. And, it's affordable.
I have my mudmaster 4/5 years now, im a farmer. Ive given it dogs abuse (irish expression) and its as durable and strong as the day i bought it, A lot of watches have come and gone in the time but nothing beats the steadfastness and strength of this watch, i bought a black, red and yellow strap on ebay from Japan just to change it up a bit in the different seasons but it mostly lives in its green strap. love it

My Timex survived everything I went thru overseas in the infantry. Jungle warfare school in Okinawa, mountain warfare training in Korea, jungle survival training in the Philippines, Diving on concertina wire, amphibious landing and everything else at $30. If it works it works! The mudmaster is a nice watch at a cost of $240 and up.
