While it might not have been the announcement that fans may have been clamoring for, this announcement did come with a pleasant surprise for fans of the franchise. SF2CE was actually factory dedicated in a 3KOAM Z Back, not a Dynamo HS-5 (New Wave Toys did the same stupid thing). This is a cabinet that operators frequently put SF2 kits into, but these were NEVER factory dedicated SF2CE machines 😂.

If they could get the anniversary edition of sf2 I would have been all in. It has the 3do soundtrack. The capcom fighting collection is probably one of my favorite fighting game compilations that has been released recently.

I remember when I was younger in the late 80s they passed a law in California to where you could not have an arcade anymore inside a liquor store. Yes when I was a kid you could play arcades at convenience, stores that sold liquor too.
Happy to see the dynamo design and the black side panels will fit in nice in any home
Modding these is the way to go, add over 3,000 games with a raspberry pi mod
It looks weird. The control panel is just longer vertically, but not horizontally like we need (real Dynamos don't have that cramped configuration).

Now mind you I haven't been next to an actual Arcade cabinet (of any game) in ages. I used to go to Arcades sure, but that was back in the mid to late 90s. So I'm wondering something here, about their actual size. I still kind of imagine Arcades (cabinets) as being pretty big, taller than me (I'm 5'7" now as an adult) but I THINK that's my memory from much younger me and probably not fully grown yet (at the time). Were Arcade cabinets (especially for Fighting games) actually of that same size this company makes? Or are they actually making smaller / shorter more compact versions of the originals?
In any case, it does look very good, brings me back lots of memories.
Yeah, arcade cabinets were usually anywhere from 66" to 70" depending on the game (usually). So these almost have the height, and they're a lot more slender (smaller). Also, thanks for checking out the video, and hopefully, I'll see you in the comments of future videos!
I wish they would put Super Street Fighter 2 The New Challengers back on the games list. It's on the original SF2 cab. Which I still have.

So this is definitely worth getting all I don't have the other ones that have the artwork but this looks original on the dashboard the coloring is off a little bit that's nothing 🎮🕹😀👍🏾

It's a nice design (if too skinny), but it's too little too late... we've bought SFII 5 or 6 times now. There's no reason to upgrade. Alpha or 3rd Strike? We'd be talking.

I'm actually excited for it because I once owned this style cab that was a SF2WW. Had to sell it and I really liked that cab, just too much to handle.
I, however, would reskin thisbone to replicate my old WW cab and sell the parts to whoever would want it because I already have the BB and YF boards. I just want the style.
One issue that I have with this is the CP. It looks almost there..... from what I understand, I think what Travis and Bee were saying, its a prototype?

Its nice that they really put in the effort to try to replicate this but my ? is will this just be a 1 off because its sf and capcom and john loves some capcom or will they truely try to replicate all future cabs going forward.
While it looks great its not going to get me to sell my shinku hadouken . Love the design of the shinku .
I would hope that this would be the standard of attempting to replicate cabinets to as close to their original counterpart
Form Factor is pefection but it could have been used for capcom vs snk 2 / street fighter alpha series or even the street fighter series. A long shot of tatsunoko vs capcom also. Cant justify another sf2 machine. No buy
My favorite scene was when Blanka was fighting Zangief and Balrog was watching in his tux. The fight got Balrog so hard his nips broke the button on his tux. What does that have to do with the topic? Nothing I just noticed the background is all.

The cabinet has to much black on it, not enough graphics on side and front. And whatever happen to adding street fighter 2 rainbow edition, that was my favorite as a kid in the 80”s
