Looks like they're leaving my generation behind. At least there will be sales on the legacy cabinets in the next year or so.

720° is one I never expected ever
If I'm remembering correctly from a John's Arcade episode, the 720 joystick is *extremely* different Not just an 8-way, more like something that rotates around the edge of the circular gate. It'd take an engineering effort like the 49-way Blitz sticks to get them right, most likely. Hoping they're not gun shy to do it right after kinda getting bit by Blitz.
Dude, this is awesome and incredibly helpful. I was really thinking about Time Crisis, but completely agree with you about Lethal Enforcers. Kinda disappointed no MK4.

I feel like they would release one cabinet with all the sf alpha and one with all the sf3 titles separately.
Super off road would probably get the sprint games but maybe badlands. Having steering wheels could lead to roadblasters or hard driving, maybe even vindicators or stun runner but that would be outside.
Total carnage needs to be with robotron/smash tv.
720 would likely go with apb/Toobin, and paperboy.
Still waiting for a rampage/gauntlet collection with 3-4 player support and the later entries of those series
Oh yeah that's part of the fun haha. I'm working on videos for this week speculating just that. And what other cabinet could also be coming since I bet there's more. Those are great ideas you have. All of them make sense and I can see those games being included. Some cabinets are pretty easy to pair games with but others like the pacman royal might be tougher just because of it's form factor. But who knows. You know they will figure out a way to slap all the pacman deluxe titles in there haha. Thanks for watching man.

Track & Field will include Hyper Sports, 88 games and Boot Camp. Hope they make a Afterburner/Space Harrier cab

Boot Camp was a trak-ball game though.

@@CobrettiKai and there was 2 different versions of T&F, one with buttons and one with trackball, same with Hypersports
@@curbydinobot8633 I'll take your word for it, but I've never seen a T&F trak-ball version. What I did see were some versions with button guards because they found out people were using a ruler to connect the buttons and cheat, so they put those little shield guards around the top side of the buttons. (Let's hope A1UP forgets those)

I am a big Star Wars fan. Got the Gen 1 cab when it came out. Ordered an extra control panel with yoke before Glen announced his and got the updated correct marquee. I could see me jumping on the XL and will give my cab I have now to one of my kids.

I wish they would do a San Francisco Rush machine sit down model with the original and 2049. Only gotten a couple of countercades but would find room for Rush. 😂
Rush would be awesome! I would definitely make room for that one myself. I have them both for the N64. The definitely need to revisit the sit down model and tweak it a little bit.

I wonder if the Lethal Enforcers leak is true. I have T2 but I want to do a separate gun cab themed to either Lethal Enforcers, House of the Dead, or Carnevil. I can't make up my mind which one to do, I have graphics and extra side panels and stuff I got on ebay, for LE I would use Golden Tee sides since the deck slants, and I have a custom LE deck board made by 99 lives for a future mod. For House of the Dead or Carnevil I would maybe use Street Fighter II gen 1 side panels with the tops cut off, I got them on ebay and had the guy cut the tops off. He initially didn't want to do it but then he agreed. This was over a year and a half ago. I also have 2 big buck side panels with the graphics scraped off, it took me a long time to do it and I used a big scraping tool. I nicked part of the molding strip at a few spots but it's not too noticeable. I got a new 19" monitor with a House of the Dead gray bezel with Arcade1up on the top and and HOTD2 instructions on the bottom. But, I'm thinking of using a 32" TV on top of my Arcade1up stand. I got the Retro Shooter kit and I have Sindens and guns by Arcade Guns. I can use the Retro Shooter box or use a mini pc I have. Retro Shooter box has Lethal Enforcers 1 and 2 arcade, but only House of the Dead 2 Dreamcast. But, you can use the guns with a pc since I bought the hub with it. I got the gun kit on sale for $200 something.
I'm thinking lethal enforcers might be kind of wishful thinking, but I'm sure if they did it, it would sell really well. The cabinet looks awesome plus the game is great.... I'm biased towards house of the dead because I loved that game as a kid but honestly you couldn't go wrong with any of those skins. The time and patience it takes to do that stuff is pretty crazy I'm sure haha. But who knows we may all end up having to do stuff like that if arcade1up can't give us the titles we want. I figured if I ever find a gen 1 or 2 cabinet for really cheap I was going to buy it just to have the option to build my own custom cabinet. Thanks for watching man!
how about Paperboy, M.A.C.H 3 and Arkanoid ? I remember seeing people in the arcade that were playing Track&Field were using a cigarette lighter as a cheat tool by sliding it back and forth over the buttons to run faster lol
One thing I've learned is to never say never when it comes to games from arcade1up. They have a lot of games you would expect, but they also have dropped some surprises. So you never know! And yes! I've heard about that cigarette trick haha!! Wonder if that would work on an arcade1up version?? Hopefully we will get to find out haha. Thanks for watching I really appreciate it
if A1up has taito license, they need to add crazy climber 1 and 2 to that cab(the SmashTV/Robotron)

Pac-Man Battle Royale machines are very popular. They can be found in barcades, retro arcades, and even arcades filled with mostly redemption games. Arcade 1up should do well with that license.
Back when Track and Field was released, there was a control panel upgrade with trackballs replacing the buttons that operators could install. I could see Arcade 1up going with the trackball option in place of the buttons.
I've never seen these pac man royale machines before. They look like they could be a cool concept. Especially if they keep that form factor. And I would definitely have to think that if they are going to pull off track and field they would absolutely need a stronger deck and buttons haha. Thanks for watching man.
When I played Lethal Enforcers back in the day Id put quarters for two players, so I could play with a gun in each hand. If this one includes LE2 and that western themed one I’ll be very tempted
That's an awesome strategy haha. That's the only way I can beat T2. That helicopter stage is crazy hard with only 1 gun. I would be very tempted with a lethal enforcers cabinet as well. Thanks for watching man!
720 was a cabinet on my grail list, such memories and I mentioned in many live streams as one I wanted. The Audio was really great. I agree about Skate or Die, played that one to death and loved it. The SNK Big Red sounds to most interesting to me, I doubt it will be a 26" screen and hylox hack won't work on it, which is the biggest reason to get the current MVSX. 3 Player Racing is nuts and super hot, I bet that one will sell out easily. The shooter cabinets are not for me unless I could sideload all the other games and has to be an XL otherwise I got better ways to play more shooters elsewhere. XL's XL's XL's and bring us the Power Putt, Target Toss and Silver Strike XL Cabinet XL with online play it will def sell out and at 799 or moar!
Agreed Carl! That snk is definitely surprising. Im curious if it will be a thing and if it does what the games will be. Nice to see them branching out for licenses.
720° has an awesome soundtrack
720 is a Day 1 purchase for me if the cabinet is anything close to the original form factor.

I agree with all of those. But you can forget the Nintendo licenses. From what I hear they protect their licenses like they are their kids. I think the only way we would ever see Mario bros, donkey Kong, ect would be if Nintendo jumped in the game themselves.

I know they obviously have worked with Sega in the past with Outrun and Golden Axe, but from what I hear something is up with arcade1up and Sega. Which saddens me because I really want the Sega Star Wars Trilogy.
@@The_Bad_Guy. Big Star Wars fan here too. People eat up the Trilogy idea and for good reason! I feel like many fans of the Arcade1Up brand are just left unheard. I watched another video from the employees and they all gave the corporate jargon of “we hear you” but is that true? Giving the people what they want is crucial for business and especially in the games industry. Remember the Arcade1Up pinball escapades? They got Marvel and Star Wars on board but thats really it for the big names. These drawn out releases one at a time and lack of in demand options is just so strange in my opinion. Of all the cabinets on this leak list, I'm hearing track & field is among the most likely to happen. I know a lot of people will be happy with that. Which is great because about time they start giving people what they want!

Outside of Alien V Predator that's a disappointing line-up. Would of loved to see Sega Rally/Daytona or Virtua Cop cabs.

I've learned my lesson buying arcade1up fighting games. NONE of them run perfectly especially not mvc2. You cannot play ANY arcade1up fighters competitively.
Oh agreed man. For big time amateurs like me it's ok if you're just playing with your buddies. But if you're playing for real then probably not a good experience. Thanks for watching man!
@@The_Bad_Guy. I was #1 on mvc2 for a while. I dropped to 6 recently. Its incredibly frustrating playing competitively on there even with my upgraded buttons and sticks. It just doesnt run properly online yet.

I totally agree. For 6-700 dollars the controls and speakers need to be better quality. Simpsons and X-Men are the worst in terms of sound. You need to crank the sound up to almost 11-12 to even hear it.
wow, if arcade1Up does half of those, it will be a big year for them. Looking forward to seeing what they do (have to throw away some furniture to make room for this)

720 is skate or die

Not true. 720 was an arcade game by Atari. Skate or Die was a home co some game by EA and put on the NES BY Konami under their Ultra label. Same theme, similar concepts and gameplay likenesses but definitely completely different. 720 came out a year prior and, along with California games, it was an influence to Skate or Die!

90s kids rejoice... for this 80s era guy, not too excited here except for... ROBOTRON... still, a lot of these choices just seem so odd for A1U to be going into. Its not that I dont expect more 90's titles, which is great for those that grew up with them, it just seems according to this list they are really going all in on some really obscure ideas... I dont doubt the Star Wars XL, that seems obvious...
Yeah it sure seems they are moving past the 80s cabinets for some reason. I can't see why as there's so many great games left. Hopefully there's a surprise or 2 left that we don't know about. Thanks for watching man I really appreciate it.

I’d still love to see them do a Missile Command, such a cool cab, and no issues on licensing there… but then they’d probably omit the large track ball or turn the monitor vertical… 😂 There are still plenty of 80s titles… and when it comes to XL.. for F sake guys, you mean to tell me the only true to form DEFENDER we’re going to get is the Partycade?
