I was never intending to play online, so this sounds good to me. Bought my cab yesterday.
WAIT THEY ADDED ONLINE TO MVC2 okay i may have to grab a cab
It took 9 months for this update. Idk if I will ever support them again after the MVC2 release. Amazing review!
Probably only released this update cuz of the kith mvc2 cabinet that dropped
I returned mine 9 months ago.

Because of the lack of online play.😢
Well I might reconsider.
Now they just need to do a update to add the missing capcom/marvel game, The Punisher

Really wish you played an online game to see if the lag issue has been resolved.
I've played a couple and it does seem much better. I'd probably notice more if I was a better player and didn't get my @$$ kicked lol.
Bill, I have the cab and am able to play online for games such as MVC1, but for MVC2 I can't connect to other players. Any idea why?
Not sure. I do believe the net code used to play MVC2 is different from the other games on that cabinet, which is why when the machine originally launched that game could not be played online at all. It may also explain why you have no issue with any game but MVC2.
The only suggestions I can make are:
a) Make sure the cab is on the latest update. Hit the live button and select "Check for Updates". If there's one available, do it.
b) Check your wi-fi settings. make sure you have the strongest signal possible on that cab.
c) When you select to play online, it will give you a choice of regions to connect to. Make sure you are picking the region you live in (US East, US West, etc..). The further you try to connect from where you live, the worse experience you'll have trying to play.

@BillsRetroGamingShow I ended making a support ticket and they want me to ship the board to them. My cab is not updating to the latest firmware. When I click check for updates it says I am running the latest version, but I am not. Trying to figure out an alternative solution.

@@Batman43221 yes it fixed when the most recent update came out.
Would of been nice if I was able to plug in whatever controller I would have wanted to use at the back of the machine to just sit down and play. Having the Control Panel slanted like that is really uncomfortable for me. I could only play for at most 15 minutes at a time before I can fill the pain in my arms. Anyway, this is a good update patch. I still don't regret my purchase of the cabinet. It's the only Arcade1Up cabinet in their lineup. All I care about is the Vs Fighting Games like this 1. Just sucks there isn't enough selections to choose from. I'm not into Street Fighter II, MK, maybe the KI cab. I really hope to see a Capcom Vs. SNK 2 cabinet. That would be a must buy. Or a Street Fighter Alpha or Street Fighter III 3rd Strike cabinet.
Did it fix the input lag?
It's a lot better. I'm not one of these fighting game experts that gets into the nitty-gritty measuring lag to the 1000th of a millisecond, but for a casual fan who just plays for fun, it seems fine
If you are expecting to be able to do any combos I wouldn’t bother. Basically cable gun spam works only online
The first marvel vs capcom cabinet is so much better if you already own one.
Ya they go for like 5k now tho
