season three of Moral Orel is some of the greatest tv I've ever seen. The show is pure art, and I'm so glad more people are appreciating it. this last season deserved at least five more episodes, and it sucks that it was cut short.
Bloberta really wanted love. When Orel ask her why she married Clay, she is trying to hide the truth from him. When she walk out of the room, she broke down crying because Orel is seeing the truth about their family problems that she and Clay were trying to hide. Bloberta looks at Clay, she didn't say a word to him and gives him the cold shoulder because Clay shot him and this caused Orel to see the truth. Bloberta didn't confront Clay about the hunting incident and Orel getting shot because of Clay's drinking. Bloberta does care about her son, but too weak to do anything about it.
The idea that women can have sex whenever they want and men have to work for it as though sex is a desired commodity and the amount of work required to get it is unequal for the two most common sexes leads to dangerous redpill-like ideas. Sex is not a thing to acquire. Sex is a shared experience between people. If you view sex as a thing to acquire, I would suggest thinking about it more deeply, or buying a sex toy instead of having sex with a living, breathing, partner with complex emotions.

It's sad when a show gets cancelled in its prime but if there's one positive, it means that it never reaches that inevitable slow decline.
