Basically this episode was Orel having a understanding that you don’t necessarily need to go to church to have a personal relationship with God hence his body being a church, your body is a temple, remember those crackers and wine being the “flesh and blood of Jesus”, but then his father beat that idea into submission (him going back into a regular church) it’s trippy but once broken down it’s a dope perspective it’s a whole lot of hypocrisy in the church nowadays just e a good human being myboysss
Yeah, Season 3 is a bit out of order, but it’s on purpose. Like this episode ends where the Nature episode begins (hence the vague “I’m never going to do THAT with THOSE in THERE for that long ever again.”) And the next episode ends where this one began, so you do get an explanation of how the heck Orel thought bathing in blood was the right thing to do. Also the next one begins where Season 2 Episode 16: School Pageant ends, so I personally would recommend watching that one first for some context, but also it is context for the first 2 minutes or so and the rest has nothing to do with it, so I’ll leave it up to you if you want to go back and watch that first or not.
