He is a great song writer...period.
"Against the wind" was the first one I remember hearing from Bob Segar.
Another well written song. And of course he and his band performed these songs well too.

this is one of the saddest songs of all time.... talking about our teenage years and what we cared about.... but the time passes so fast.... the night moves and the next thing we know, Autumn is closing in

"Like a Rock" is precious. Also from 1968-69 "Rambling Gambling Man" is great! He was SO young then😉

Turn The Page, Main Street, Hollywood Nights are just a few of his best. His hits are phenomenal, and so is his voice. The Silver Bullet Band rocks

Seger’s best. ❤️ It’s definitely spicy! Check out his tune Main Street.

Spicy?! ROTFLMAO, such understatement. But a spectacularly honest, and sweet, reaction. But the song is basically about nostalgia, looking back on a fond/happy memory, great performance musically.

"That's spicy" beautiful reaction :-) Back in the day we had to use our imagination and listen to the musician lyrics.

It a coming off age song. There's lots and lots of them. Most people can relate to them. They bring either good or sometimes Bad memories.
