Been there man... you know you are with a good group of guys when the vibes stay pleasant, even when 1 guy brought bananas for the 2nd trip in a row and the 2nd break down in a row 🤣🤣🤣
Bro you were lucky you had very good weather. It is classed an emergency, feel for you guys. Just be thankful your boat didn’t sink and you guys were left floating in the water. I don’t own a boat, but 2 years ago in Thailand 16 of Us divers were lost at sea for 2 hours, after a blue water wreck dive. Solid Overcast, seas were flat at the time. When we were on the bottom it Came over real dark, by the time we broke surface we had 6m swell. Torrential down poor and divers floating off in the storm, puking over each other. I’m the old guy of the group unfortunately, I had tell these idiots to hold on to each other in one group. Rounded them up after 30 or so minutes, never seen so many people seas sick at once! Needless to say, I stayed away from the fresh bait. The only thing that saved us was my diving light with SOS strobe. The ship Was miles away from Us on the horizon, they finally seen the stobe sos as I created over a huge wave. I safely got all divers on board, how none of us were Killed by the boat Ladder, I was amazed. So Young man, count your blessings. Good luck in the future, great job love your videos.
One more Point about departing on the dive boat from the wharf. The weather Looked like crap, not a nice day to dive. If it Looks Like crap it will be crap, I should have walked away from the dive fatal error on my behalf. FYI our sister boat sank in the storm returning to port AWESOME

It’s just a foolish superstition based on the fact that bananas float and when a ship sinks and people pull up to the scene they see bananas. Correlation does not equal causation. 😂
Man after something like that happened to me, I would immediately go buy a fuel transfer pump. Yall had plenty of gas on board to get the tow boat back with you
Just be thankful you didn’t end up in the water ! I’ve had two boats sink from under me. Once about the same 70 miles out but in the northern Gulf of Mexico. It’s not a great feeling floating in the fishbox in the middle of the night. Seriously , lose the f’n bananas !
Right on for getting home safely and dats solid dat u guys don’t get changed on da tow, just wanna say to dat guy in da boat left u guys, I personally wouldn’t have unless there wasn’t anything to tow u guys with just saying
Divers/fishermen out of the US, are 🚫 🍌 on a boat a thing in your country as well? Also this video does a good job showing the insta vs reality of some missions. Not all are easy peasy but they do keep you humble and hungry for the next one!
Crazy to see the other end of this situation after spending the day working to get you back home. I'm glad you guys made it back safe. Drake failed to tell me it was his fault 🍌 🍌 🍌 🍌 🤦🤦
You went 70 miles off shore commercial fishing and didn't have flares, emergency vhf, and more, as a commercial fisherman in Alaska our regulations for going offshore are insane, I'm disappointed you were so unprepared
Driving AWAY from a boat in distress THAT FAR OUT is wicked. Like bro, that’s four HUMAN LIVES, that IF the tow boat doesn’t get there or find them are done! Like dude, f your fishing plans, stay there just in case. Worst case scenario you just hop on the other boat and leave the broken boat drifting to save the lives.
Bro tell your buds stop with the banana on the boat, back here they throw that overboard. WHy you guys don't have any flares when you can flag down boats
Epic. 1st thing I thought when I saw the title was, "Is this the same video I watched last week?"
Dude look how sunburnt we got. My face peeled for dayssss
You should see a doctor. I've had two friends with skin cancer, they're fine, but it's not a laugh it off joke.
I’ll drive the boat and won’t bring any bananas!!! Get some bettter friends lol
Sea tow guy was a legend!
Duuuuude. What a saga.
Quit the banana thing man lol

I'm convinced, zero bananas on vessels I'm on. What about cruise ships though? They have literal tonnes of bananas.

@@ryanschaap2859 oh yeah that would be a problem... didn't think about that haha good point!
I guess no more bananas 😂
Man, you really should have a second engine or a buddy boat if you’re going offshore. Glad the situation didn’t get worse!
That guys with sea two is a g
I see you don't use roller anymore, you don't like them?
Start drifting for wahoo😂
Not sure about the west coast but I’ve never had towboat us refuse to give us a tow, no matter how far out we were
Why would yall go out on the same boat that messed up before with no sunscreen
if that happened in Hawaii that first boat would have taken you home or you might have drifted off into never never land
Ryan not the kind of adventurer you were probably expecting. What did Sam say????
You could have a 10 horse kicker and made it home much faster. Woefully unprepared for offshore ventures

That is universal. Never bring bananas on a boat. That’s worth fighting.

Neva to step foot on dat boat again.....
Lack of maintenance.....
Banana guy looking real dumb rn
Dont blame a banana for poor maintanance and not being prepared !
❤❤
