This game is going to be unbelievable. So much to look forward to in 2024
I don't know why, but part of me was afriad that this game would suffer constant delays or something along those lines. I was still stung by Little Devil Inside falling off the map. But they're making quick progress with Wukong. The soundtrack is absolutely fire.
And we got a release date too, I think concrete
Normally when Chinese give you a date we keep that promise LOL. Can't wait for it though.
2024 is very special to Chinese people because it is the year of Dragon in lunar calendar. August 20 is very special for Game Science (the developer studio) because it is their anual date for reporting progress to investors and public. Since 2020, every year Game Science released a new trailer for Black Myth Wukong. I wouldn't say it's 100% gonna be on time, but based on the quality of the offline demo play in August this year, I think it is almost ready for release at this point. They probably still have to do some optimization and wrap up work. Let's see

the story the novel tells happens approximately around 650AD though
and many of those monsters probably are inspired by a myth book on monsters which is written around 250BC
