There have been many comments about the transmission and clutches on the car. As mentioned in the video, when I drove it, the car wasn’t 100% dialed in. It went straight back to Lingenfelter for more calibration work. The 3rd to 4th gear was not the clutch slipping. Other moments were wheelspin induced. I’ve driven another aftermarket forced induction C8 and the shifting was orders of magnitude worse than this. It’s challenging to tune these cars. Thanks to everyone for watching the video!
Is it that or is he just shifting and immediately lifting the throttle. I’m not sure he is giving us an accurate depiction of the car’s performance. I really think it’s how he is driving it, a couple of pulls on another street sounded much better, so I think it’s just him trying to make it through 3 gears and he just can’t before hitting 80 on a side street

It sounds amazing. I don't think the trans is handling all of the power, though. They should but more power into the electric motor so the back doesn’t slip so much.
Nice work, but need to mention there’s a quite noticable lag between shifts and pushing power and can definitely tell it also needs a transmission tune to change shift logic and engagement. strange a YTber like you didn’t mention it

I'm surprised that people go with the factory's idea of differentiating the E-Ray from the Z06 by making all trim body color. Looks cheap, unfinished. How will the apparent basically stock transmission handle this extra power. The Z06 has a stronger transmission yet has less HP...right? I guess the factory warranty is now gone.
She needs a Dodson clutch kit. Poor girl. She might do better on auto. Sick powertrain tho, best of all worlds. Just heavy as hell. 🤷♂ other than that, depends on its purpose you give it. As a daily, its close to perfect! For track, not saying its uncapable, but she'll struggle. Tires, brakes, speed, everything gets affected with weight... which is a master key to track days, lightweightness. Again, other than that, she sick! Just needs a clutch to handle the added torque. Also HRE 527M wheels would look better without the rally inspired venting.

That’s what’s I’m saying these guys love modding these cars to no end to make it fast in a straight line, constantly in the shop breaking parts and doing Maintenance only to be slower in any situation against a plaid. When you say the plaids faster they will bring up track credentials made by a professional driver which their car will never see the track time let alone leave the garage or tuning shop.

@AmericanFreedomPatriotthe dct is inaccessible on the c8 there are a ton of issues with the base c8’s transmission shifting when they add boost. You can hear the trans struggling to shift into 4th. He’ll probably need some clutches
I love turbos, but supercharger has a linear torque band like an NA engine, and the punch of the electric motors is a great combo. That thing has 200 lb-ft of torque per wheel!!! The tires are all important.

Just goes to show at any price point money doesn’t buy cosmetic taste. At least he didn’t put a firebird on the hood with cowhide interior and hot wheels flames on it yet. I’ve seen much worse tastes in modified cars gone wrong. With all the money in corvettes he should sell them all and get the ZR1 this summer. Neither is a good daily so I’d prefer the top trim over multiple Corvettes.

Id say it has more to do with the stock clutch's in the trans than the tune.

Awesome car, but needs springs with the power upgrade. The car is making 200 ft lbs more torque at a lower rpm than ANY SF90.

After we installed the Eventuri Intake & Fabspeed exhaust, the E-Ray was only 75lbs heavier than the exact same spec C8 Z06/Z07.
