Sold my C8 Z06 the other day. Great dude picked it up. I’m getting an ERAY. Mike if you decide to wait on your ERAY I would be glad to take your spot. I hope you get your car. This is a great video. I enjoy these.
Lol say what? Would literally do the opposite unless you live in a snowy/wet climate or plan on throwing the Eray warranty out the window and modding it. Z06 is superior in all areas, twisties/track, roll racing/60-130, and on a prepped surface even 1/4 mile & mph. Haven't even gotten into the one of a kind flat plane crank engine sound and asthetic appeal... Hope you don't regret it.
@@kaylak1275 The Z06 can’t get any traction. The ERAY smokes it in acceleration. If they hadn’t used the Z06 body I would have kept it. That really pissed me off to be honest. I do live in a rainy location. A lot of traffic as well so long high speed runs are hard to do. Stoplight to Stop light is about all I have to enjoy. The ERAY excels at that.
@@thereissomecoolstuff only in acceleration, which is slight. Keep going and the Z06 reels it in.
@@gaddyify it’s true. Between the AWD and the fact that I would do very little long runs due to traffic, the ERAY is a much better car. Normally I leave my cars stock. After the Z I will be upgrading the sound with catback exhaust. You Z06 owners just keep checking my tail lights as I leave you at the line. 2.1 0-60. That’s a half a second faster under 3 seconds. The ERAY is the car. Don’t get mad at me. Get mad at GM. IM very pissed about it.
@@thereissomecoolstuff I'm just saying. Some people race other than stop light to stop light, some roll race, and some race longer on the freeway. The Eray will lose other than a short sprint. The power of the electric motor can go so far.

The car ran a 10.63 you know that’s not good . The speed is also slower then the ZO6 a stock Eray is not as fast as you make it to be . I just saw the video in his channel because he showed the times he ran .
Conditions are a huge huge factor and the conditions were horrible.

Any aventador s, sv, svj , ultimae are status cars , they cost high 300 to 1 mil plus , they are great for car shows, cruising around crowded areas or pulling up at the night clubs to pick up chicks and that’s about it , they are slow as $hit and not much you can mod to make it any faster due to NA engine, try race a tt huracan/ r8 , s plaid, X plaid , sf90, pista , Ferrari 296 , McLaren 720s , 750s , 765lt, .. just to name a few . Beating a aventador SV now a day is nothing, my daily SUV ( x plaid) would smoke it all day long even at 20% SOC . Any MK5 Supra can take it to gapplebees with 5k in mods 😂

So Im confused, why are you jockin' an Eray drag racing. Yes, obviously, corvettes do everything well. But drag racing is not where they shine. The Eray does not have an all that crazy quarter mile time. Stock for Stock the Z06 has a better quarter mile and would destroy an Eray at the track.
Maybe I am confused too we just got a E Ray in town and he’s already outrun all the ZO6 that I know about and yes for full quarter mile?

By the book the Eray quarter mile is not better then the Z06 but if it in a real quarter mile situation does I'll have to guess thats the driver. I just roll raced an Eray outside of Phoenix and smoked him. And at the track (road course) The Eray doesn't stand a chance. So again Im confused. Is the point of the Eray to race ppl in town light to light for bragging rights? 🤔 👍
@dannyhardeman9791 Maybe this will better explain why I think there is no point to the Eray. What does it do? The Z06 tracks better then cars twice the price. Bone stock. You're sayin the Eray can pull a fast 1/4mile. Well so can a Tesla. And ppl that drag race are not impressed by the eray or Z06. Eray is what 140k. Ppl that have the money to drag race are in the low 9's maybe 8s. C8, Z06 and soon ZR1...where do you see the Eray? For the same money as Eray id just buy the Z06. And I did. But I dont just drive my sports car in straight lines either... Catch me at the track or a canyon road with switch backs Ill show an Eray owner he wasted money. You can have the high school glory of light to light. 😆
Hey I am not here to argue with you I was just shocked the e Ray would out run A ZO6 in a quarter mile I currently have 2 new corvettes and own list for ZR1 where I live in north Alabama we have nothing but drag strips I live 2 miles from one there are no other tracks or mountain roads here so I am not familiar with your type of racing and your probably right the guy in e Ray probably just a better driver
@dannyhardeman9791 There is just a lot of talk about the Eray but I dont see its purpose in the Corvette line up at its price point. C8 for the money is an awesome sports car. Very well rounded be hard pressed to find better sports car at that price point. The Z06 is the best track car you can buy in its price point. Beating cars at the track twice the price. And the Zr1 will be a game changer like always. So what does the Eray do or know for at its price point? 🤔

Sorry, I didn’t have a choice in the matter. It was either film with no times or don’t film at all. They turned the times off for everyone because it was a RUclips event. If you go to Jesse’s channel, you will see his times.

Electric cars. TQ wins races, especially 1/4 mile races. That E-Ray is still a Vette to its bones. The DR's help it put that E-Power down and that is all it needed. It still has enough power to stay in front once its in front. These E cars......they are beasts. Maybe no soul as we are used to, but they are still beasts and the future.

Nope, not from 0-60 lunch race. E-Ray beat it. I saw that video. E-Ray lost on roll race cause of less hp and heavier weight. A TT or supercharged E-Ray will smash that SVJ. SVJ will only play catch-up.
