I saw lots of Armani ads as a kid. This look was in movies, it was everywhere. I always wanted to dress like those ads when I got older. You definitely captured its essence with the outfits. The suits are beautiful!
I love your videos. And although I realized that you put a fair bit of work into them I did not realize how much time and effort it took. I love your aesthetic. Your take on styling is inspiring. Whatever you post will be spectacular.
👏 yay a new Corrine video! You are a cool girl! I will watch any and all vids you drop! Informative or styled! I’m here for your clearly wonderful and unique style! 40 hours of editing is a long time! Wow! I remember wearing so much slouchy suiting in the early 80s when women’s wear was so affected by Armani menswear style! We could finally thrift gorgeous wool, silk and linen and wear our thin ties and men’s thrifted polished vintage leather shoes and look amazing at such an affordable price! Giorgio Armani made that a reality! Not to mention argyle socks and vintage trench coats! Yes! 👍🏻 Your father’s suits are truly timeless and they all looked so good on you! I love a puddle of fabric over the shoe as well! Thanks 🙏 for making this! Your videos are outstanding!
Thank you so very much! I, too, love that his suiting brought menswear into womenswear. And it really is such a thriftable look. So many positives its hard to keep track!
So happy I found this channel. Extremely underrated. I find your tastes and outfits impeccable; the versatility of outfits and transitions into different eras of fashion and tailoring while still adding your own flair is quite enjoyable to watch. Hope you continue making more videos!
Cool and edgy at the same time, bravo! As an 80s and 90s contemporary of these styles I have to add that these clothes were sublimely comfortable as opposed to the recent 'skinny suit' faux pas' of the younger generations last decade.
Holy smokes this was a good video! I have a wedding to go to in November and you have inspired me and given the knowledge to hunt down a unique fit for it!
I remember my friend Eric, in 1984, who so badly wanted a linen Armani jacket that looked exactly like that.....all of his friends told him not to buy it. I told him to go ahead...he did! An Armani jacket was an investment then, it is now. (where are you, Eric?)
Absolutely loved the looks in this one, & how you so thoroughly describe your inspiration in styling. It definitely does seem like a lot of work though, would still enjoy less researched videos! 😅
I get the over-sized look, though it would be interesting to see an over-sized look with a few tweaks and alterations to make it more bespoke for you. I think that would be the ‘sweet spot’ for your own personal style. Armani seemed to ignore rules - you should do the same and not follow everything he says.
im currently obsessed with 90s armani suits and this video was just what i was looking for! thankss

Thank you for the reassurance! I think I'll just need to find a good balance :)

I noticed the models don't seem very happy on the cat walk ?

I have those suits too! Just wanted to give these ones some screen time but will definitely include the other ones in future videos :)
20:52 - why don’t you mix in some videos where you are commenting on clothes in shop windows? Keep it simple and just say what comes into your head.
I think the suit looks too masculine in my opinion
