A favorite? You're kidding, right? They are all beautiful! I love the style, the washi, and the butterflies! I'll definitely be trying this technique! TFS!
That's sweet, thank you so much Amy and I'm so happy to hear you'll try this technique! XOX
OMG Lucy how can anyone pick a fav? As I watched the end reveal I would think ‘this one’ then the next card ‘no this one’ all the way to #10 so they are all favourites Lucy. I’m a clean simple card gal but am going to try this technique as your cards are gorgeous. Thank you so much for your ever ongoing inspiration 🤗
Oh you are so sweet Helen, thank you so much for this lovely message. I loved reading how you kept changing your faves as I showed them all at the end! I'm so happy to hear you're going to try this technique, it's really fun! 🤗❤❤
I find it absolutely fascinating that we ( full grown adults) get so much pleasure out of tearing up paper and are able to produce such beautiful pieces of art in our card making. These cards are stunning 🤩🤩🤩 and you really can’t make a mistake. I love it ❣️❣️❣️
It’s so fun yes! I think I could do it for a week straight and not get bored 🤣🤣! 😁♥️♥️
I find it fascinating that for creatures which supposedly like some amount of order, we really like the torn paper look. :)
I was tearing paper and a friend told me there were scissors in the drawer behind me. It really messed with his neat world that I was deliberately tearing paper. 😁
@@jcreateturner 🤣🤣 How funny!! I guess tearing paper isn't for everyone 😂
They laugh at me in my workplace when sigh deeply and I say "I just wanna stay home and play with paper!" Everybody understands tho. We all just wanna stay home and play.
Just discovered you last night Lucy and oh my goodness! I absolutely love your style and your designs which are completely different than mine. I live in New England and am soon to be 67 years old and have been making greeting cards for the last 25 years but I had never made any that looked like these collage type. So you inspired me and I decided today to get Brave and rip up some paper! LOL😂 I just got done making the card I will take a picture of it and send it to you in a separate text because I don't know how to attach it to this, hence the remarkable being almost 67!
What a lovely message, thank you so much! I’m so happy to hear you’ve tried out this technique and I’d love to see it! Xox
I too am almost 67 and do a wide variety of cards & this just took my breath away!
@@jacquihyland2554 That's lovely to hear you enjoyed these cards XOX
I don't usually leave RUclipsrs messages, but I absolutely LOVE your cards and the materials you use. Thanks for sharing!
Oh I'm so flattered you chose to leave me a message, thank you so much, I'm so happy to hear you loved the cards! Have a great weekend XOX
The cards are beautiful, I love them all. Deb, from Minnesota. USA
Thanks so much Deb!
I was a little bit horrified when I watched you tearing up such beautiful papers but when I saw how each card came together, I was so surprised how beautiful they turned out. You have such a creative mind Lucy and such a pleasure to watch and learn new techniques from you. So hard to pick a favourite they are all so gorgeous.
Thank you so much Robyn! 😊 ♥️♥️
Impossible to choose a favourite they are all gorgeous. Fellow Melbournian here.
Thank you so much Di! 🤗❤❤
It is amazing how a butterfly can change the look of a card. I liked the 1st one and the 9th one. I love pastels and butterflies, hearts and flowers. Your work is beautiful. Thank you for sharing. Jane from UK
Thanks so much Jane Xox
I loved these cards, very different from anything I’ve made before!
Thank you ☺️
Hello from Canada, Lucy. Just happened across this video and was blown away by the beautiful products! They are stunning; it was the script Washi that I couldn’t believe. Next were the PET stickers. None of these supplies are anywhere near me, so thank goodness for internet!! I did collage on canvas many moons ago (I’m almost 69 years young) and make cards now. So yes, I love this style. I subscribed right away and now have some research to do 🤭. Thanks for sharing. Can’t wait to see more.
Thank you so much for your lovely message and for subscribing ☺️. Yes I love that script washi, it’s so versatile isn’t it? And yes, thank goodness for the internet as we don’t have any craft stores left where I live either! Have a fab day xox
I’m just new to your channel, Lucy, and I loved all of these cards. I also appreciate how you explain the techniques that you used so thank you. Greetings from north of the border in Mid North Coast, NSW. 😊
Greetings from south of the border! Thank you so much for your lovely comments and I'm glad you enjoyed this video. I hope you'll enjoy more of my videos too ☺❤
Amazing results from paper tearing! So beautiful I wouldn't be able to mail them out 😂
Hehe, thank you, yes it's sometimes difficult to part with our cards isn't it! XOX Lucy
I love these cards. I’m excited to start using my PET tapes. I got my order in a couple days ago. I used your link to buy them and so I believe I got the same tapes as you. Keep the cards coming. I love all the ideas you come up with 😊
Awesome! Thank you! ☺️ ♥️♥️
Although I'm not generally a fan of collage, your cards all came out gorgeous! Thank you for this video.
Thank you so much for your kind words about these cards XOX
Do you have a link in the description of your video for the site you got the papers & washi tape?
Yes absolutely! You’ll find all the products in the description box which is below the video just before the comments. Let me know if you need more help and I can send you the links xox
Lovely cards! So fun to tear papers and collage them. Lovely and inspiring. New subscriber. Thanks for sharing! 🩷Jill
Thanks so much for subbing and letting me know Jill! Have a wonderful day 😊♥️♥️
After spending about 45 minutes searching for this card, my friend said oh I sent it to you so I didn't even have it on my list but now it's on my list and never to be lost again😂 I teach a class on Thursdays at the community center and I think I may try this. I love it, it's so easy and it has such a gratifying look to it. So wish me well!
Oh, enjoy, these cards were so fun to make!! Have a lovely weekend and class on Thursday XOX
Wow, so many beautiful cards, it’s hard to choose a favourite. I look forward to your videos every week to see what you have come up with. You’re so creative Lucy
Thank you so much Corinne, that’s really sweet of you to say Xox
They are all so beautiful.
I remember the not-so-terrific collages we did as kids and was not sure i wanted to watch a grown-up train wreck. Oh my! I am soooo glad i watched. You created LOVELY cards!
Hehe That's funny! Thank you, I'm glad you liked the cards XOX
Absolutely gorgeous. Number 1 & Number 10 are my favourites, I couldn’t choose between them 😘
Absolutely gorgeous cards-couldn’t pick a favorite!❤
I love all of them but the 3rd one with the black shadow is my favourite
Thanks for letting me know your fave :)
It’s impossible for me to pick a favorite. They are all gorgeous! Thank you for sharing the video and your creative process.
I love love love this technique! The cards for your nieces are adorable and my other two favorites are the one with the torn black border with the thank you so much sentiment and the one with the script text with lots of white space and the thinking of you sentiment. I love to see your process!
Thank you so much, I loved reading what your fave cards are 🥰♥️♥️
They are all really lovely Lucy. I love the way you confidently tear away, don't over think it and they all turn out beautifully. I would be agonising for hours over each piece. You have a great eye for colour and balance.
Thanks so much 😊
How do you pick a favorite?? They are all beautiful
Wow. More beautiful cards. I can not pick a favourite. All of them are stunning. 😊
Thanks so much 😊
Lovely cards. Thank you very much for the inspiration, Lucy❤
Wow! These are gorgeous. They are all so lovely that I can't pick a favorite. So pretty.

You didn't really ask us to pick a favorite,, did you??? Impossible!😀 This type of card has great appeal to me and I'd love to see more. Your nieces will be thrilled with their cards, I'm sure. Thanks for always providing such fresh ideas and inspiration.
Oh thank you Lucy ☺️ ♥️♥️
All the cards are stunning, love them all. I struggle with tearing my papers, but you have inspired me. Thankyou for sharing your beautiful creations again.
Thank you ☺️ ♥️♥️
These are some of the most gorgeous cards I've seen on the internet! My favorites are the yellow ones. But I really like the masculinity of the Birthday one you made out of the leftover scraps with the ship theme. I love the combination of colors on that one. Thank you so much for filming these and providing so much inspiration!
Wow, thank you so much, I'm thrilled to hear you think these are some of the most gorgeous cards you've seen on the internet! That's made my day! XOX
I have that paper pad and the Butterflies!! Had no idea what to do with them!! I do NOW!!!

Beautiful cards. Love this technique.
Wow. . . three, five, seven, nine, ten. . . how do you choose a "favorite?"
I've been binging on your videos and ordering way too much from the companies you show on your Chanel. This one is my favorite so fat. Please keep sharing, your cards are so lovely.

Beautiful cards. Thank you for sharing.. I live in Adelaide.
Thanks for watching!
Lucy, how do I get into the drawing that you have? I don't have a computer so I really can't go on the website. I'm not really tech-savvy, but if it's not too difficult, I might be able to figure it out. Again, these cards are drop dead gorgeous. And there's no way I could pick my favorite.❤
Hi Darlene, thanks for your message. I don’t draw so I’m not sure what drawing you mean sorry? If you’d like to send more details about it maybe I can give you an answer or do a video tutorial on it. I’m on holidays without much wifi this week so if you reply, I’ll answer again next week when I’m home if that’s ok. 😊♥️♥️
Stunningly beautiful ❤

I love these cards, Lucy, especially the yellow ones like Imogene’s and the Mother’s Day. I don’t usually like black and don’t use it very much but like what you’ve done with it here. ❤

These cards are beautiful. I will definitely try this ripping technique. Thank you.
Have fun ripping and thank you XOX
It's really a good way for everyone well done wonderful
Love the cards. My fav is number 10. Love the clean look. I have bought the papers and the butterflies........ I need to make the cards. I have used the butterflies on backgrounds made with spraying oxide sprays. They look really great. I don't need to have too much design elements.....I'm a bit hopeless still
Oh I bet the butterflies look beautiful on the sprayed backgrounds Lorna, I love that look so much! I don't get creative enough with my inks these days, I must get them back out again, thanks for the reminder on how great they can be! Happy crafting XOX
Beautiful cards,I really couldn't pick a favourite 😊
Thanks so much! 😊
You just blew me away with your beautiful cards. Can't wait to try one of these myself. Wow!!!
Oh that’s fantastic to hear, thank you and enjoy! 🥰🥰

I love these Lucy, you never cease to amaze me... your creativity is just so beautiful, your composition sublime. I tried to choose a favourite card this time and had Number 2 in mind, I love butterflies and I love purple... but then you revealed the last card! Stunning ❤ Once again I cannot choose but thats ok, I love all you create, so inspiring for me xxB 💜🎶💜
Thank you so much Bonnie, you always leave me such sweet messages and I love it 🥰 ♥️♥️
I've just started really liking collage... and I have to say Lucy, some of these are the most beautiful cards I've ever seen I'm going to give it a shot I wish I had some of the larger images though I think the only ones I have are small but we'll see thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for saying how much you love these collage cards, that’s so lovely to hear 🥰♥️♥️
Beautiful cards! You make the technique look so easy.
Thank you so much!
Love the ghost cards, I'm just fascinated at it all. How can we get more information? ❤❤❤
Hi Connie, Under the video title you will find a grey description box, all you need to do is click on the word "more" and you will see all the links and information you need about the video. I hope this helps and please let me know if you need further assistance. Have a great day XOX Lucy
So stunningly beautiful ❤❤❤
Lovely work! What kind of glue are you using? I couldn't find it in the description. But it also randomly jumps around the text when I try to scroll for some reason.
Thank you. Ahh yes, I use Selley's Aquadhere glue that I buy from Bunnings (a hardware store if you're not in Oz or NZ). If in Australia here's a link to the 500ml bottle for $16 bit.ly/43c7Wn8 - there is a smaller bottle too. I transfer from the large bottle to my little metal tipped bottles. I hope this helps, please let me know if you need further info. XOX Lucy
I’m new to your channel and love your cards and tips!
Welcome and thank you so much, I hope to continue to give more inspiration and tips XOX
Beautiful cards
I like the one with the girl. Beautiful cards but not my style of card making. Great video.
Thanks so much!
How can I pick a favourite, they are all beautiful. This will be a great activity for me to do on an evening during my travelling in May. Always like to take a small amount of crafting with me and doing these will be perfect and so much fun. Thank you Lucy, love your work. Keep cool, I'm in Perth and we have had 40 three days this week- so over it
Hi Jennie! Thank you so much for your lovely comments, I'm so happy to hear this will give you crafting ideas for your travelling, enjoy your time away. I hope it cools down for you soon, 40+ degrees is awful. XOX
These are all so beautiful ❤ butterflies 🦋 are my favourite too 🦋 thank you Lucy for always inspiring me ❤
I'm so happy to hear my card making inspires you, thank you so much. Butterflies always make cards look more beautiful don't they? 😀❤❤
Love love these cards.I struggled to choose one or 10 favs as they are all so beautiful. You are so inspiring I am going to try this technique. TFS Kathy from Hot hot Sydney
Thank you so much Kathy, and I hope it's cooler for you today XOX
Beautiful cards!! How can we choose? I think the second one, the thinking of you last one, and Imogen's card are my favourites, but I wouldn't say no to any of them!
Aww, thank you! I'm so happy you like them all XOX
I have always liked the look of your cards, but had no idea how to make them. So thank you for this video and I would very much appreciate more videos that achieve similar looks.
I’m so pleased to hear you enjoyed this video 🥰♥️♥️
It is my first time watching your channel- very nice! I’ll go catch some more :)
Thank you so much, I hope you enjoy more of my videos XOX
I love tearing papers too but have only just found all the journalling stickers. Gorgeous cards
Thanks so much!
Beautiful, I have several packages of those butterflies in all colours. Now to get creating, thank you for the great ideas.
Have fun!
I love this technique as you never see anything like that in the shops. (Well not in England you don't)
I have been doing some cards with this technique as I love the PET tape and yes you need something going on in the background but not overpowering the tape. Love them Lucy. ❤️
Thank you and yes, you don't see cards like this in stores here either ☺
Absolutely gorgeous cards. I’m going to have a try doing this now although I’m very nervous about ripping my papers and arranging things on top. Thankyou for the time and effort you put into making these videos. ❤
Have fun, I’m sure they’ll turn out well 😁♥️♥️
Congrats to the lucky winner. And sorry (not sorry) but you are asking the impossible to pick a favourite! All of the cards are absolutely gorgeous, my eye was drawn to the one with a lot of white space but that is because it stood out by virtue of so much white, not because it was the one I loved most. I honestly can't choose between them as they are all equally gorgeous and each have unique points of loveliness which make them stunning. Please, please do more in this style, they are exceptional! BTW thank you for the rolling tip for the PET stickers, I shall be trying that out later on.
I’m so happy to hear you love this technique and the cards I made, thank you ☺️ ♥️♥️
Thanks Lucy for these videos showing the creative ways to use the Washi Tape & Journalsay products. I have recently ordered from both and this video inspires me to give them a try.
Have fun creating with your new goodies! 🥰♥️♥️
You just inspired me

I truly enjoyed this video and this technique! This technique is such a great way to use up any paper we have...printed or solids. Thank you!!
You are so welcome!
Wow so beautiful! I have some scripts washi but I use it in the background. I’ve never thought to put it in top! Thanks for that tip. Love all the cards but I think the second one on the display lined up is mt favourite. I’m going to go shopping now 😊
Ooh have fun shopping and creating! Thank you for your compliments 🥰♥️♥️
Love Love Love these cards. i"ve been in a slump. But you have just inspired me 😁😁😁
This is so great to hear I’ve inspired you out of the slump, thank you so much for letting me know 🥰♥️♥️
