I am a visual crafter too. I can work from a template, but I have to try fitting each piece together to "get it". I love these cards. You have inspired me to use PET tapes. I’m new to your channel and have gone back and watched every video. So many beautiful cards and so many new ideas. I bought PET tapes and today created a few using your suggestions. I cut out both florals like you suggested and it was easy to put together my designs. And yes, I have a lot left over to make a few more cards. If you want to purchase anything from the companies I create with, you'll find under the video there's a grey section before the comments section, that can be expanded to show all the product links (click where it says "more"). Lucy, I have ordered a LOT of rolls of Washi and PET tapes because you featured them not too long ago. I'm wondering if you feel confident about their adherence to the paper? Do you think it would hurt anything if the card front is run through a die cutting machine to impress the images even more onto paper? Do you think the adherence is sufficient enough to place images on mailing envelopes? I haven't started playing/creating with my products yet, but I'm anxious to do so thanks to your videos!!
Hi Laura! Yes, I feel confident these new washi and PET tapes have adhered to the paper but I don't have years of experience with them to see how they handle time. I've used some of the old style washi tapes for years but they've never been great at sticking that's why we often use them to secure our dies to papers. If I stick the PET tape down firmly then decide I want to move it, it's usually not possible which means it's adhered very well! It's fine to add them to paper and then run it through your die cutting machine, I've done this many times and I feel it probably helps even more. I have added the PET tape to envelopes and I feel confident it won't peel off. This will definitely depend on what type of PET or washi tape you have though, I can't speak for all brands but the ones I have from Journalsay and The Washi Tape Shop have been amazing. I hope this helps, have fun crafting and experimenting with them, you'll love it! XOX

Hi! Yes, I must figure out how to do a video tutorial as I have a lot of experience, tips and tricks with sentiments/fonts etc. I only usually use Word docs to create my sentiments and print them out on a cheap printer. I get my fonts from Creative Fabrica - www.creativefabrica.com/ref/2668496/ They have some free fonts, even bundles of fonts, and ones you can buy cheap too. I hope this helps XOX

Lucy, I have ordered a LOT of rolls of Washi and PET tapes because you featured them not too long ago. I'm wondering if you feel confident about their adherence to the paper? Do you think it would hurt anything if the card front is run through a die cutting machine to impress the images even more onto paper? Do you think the adherence is sufficient enough to place images on mailing envelopes? I haven't started playing/creating with my products yet, but I'm anxious to do so thanks to your videos!!
Hi Laura! Yes, I feel confident these new washi and PET tapes have adhered to the paper but I don't have years of experience with them to see how they handle time. I've used some of the old style washi tapes for years but they've never been great at sticking that's why we often use them to secure our dies to papers. If I stick the PET tape down firmly then decide I want to move it, it's usually not possible which means it's adhered very well! It's fine to add them to paper and then run it through your die cutting machine, I've done this many times and I feel it probably helps even more. I have added the PET tape to envelopes and I feel confident it won't peel off. This will definitely depend on what type of PET or washi tape you have though, I can't speak for all brands but the ones I have from Journalsay and The Washi Tape Shop have been amazing. Hi! Yes, I must figure out how to do a video tutorial as I have a lot of experience, tips and tricks with sentiments/fonts etc. I only usually use Word docs to create my sentiments and print them out on a cheap printer. I get my fonts from Creative Fabrica - www.creativefabrica.com/ref/2668496/ They have some free fonts, even bundles of fonts, and ones you can buy cheap too. I hope this helps XOX
