    These small compressors are life savers. They are definitely better than the old hand pump. Great review.

      Totally agree! These are helping so many get into the sport. Where as before, the cost was prohibitive for many.

    The F150 Powerboost is almost purpose built for these tasks. Good little compressor.

    I have a Toauto compressor. It looks like the Vevor, just a different color. I'm just starting the airgun enjoyment. And it not disappointed me yet. I used it to fill a new 3 liter bottle. Took a long time,but never got over 100 degrees and I waited a few minutes to restart after 30 minute run time.

      @@AirgunAdvisor started with a Gamo DX and Gamo Viper. Though my wife and I would like pcp's better. So I got diana stormriders two in 22 and one 177. They fit my wife great,me not so much. I'm getting ready to order two jts airacuda max a 22 and a 25.

      I have yet to shoot the JTS Airguns, but have heard good things. I am in the process of reviewing a AvengerX in .22 caliber (tube version). I was really impressed with its accuracy at 50 yards.

      Thank you for sharing this. Always easy to comment when you have a bad experience, less so for positive ones. I could do without that 25 min shut off.

    6 hours to fill a 9L PCP tank? Better off with the basic 4500 Acecare.

    Looks good. I am new to shooting pcp and looking to upgrade form my handpump. Should I buy a compressor or a bottle? Whats difference between these two options?

    • @AirgunAdvisor
      @AirgunAdvisor  Месяц назад +1

      Bottle - fast filling at the range but you need someplace local that can top it off for you. The hassle is always having to go get it filled and they have a service life of 15 years and mandatory hydrostatic testing every 5 years.
      Cheap compressor = fill your airgun whenever and wherever. Heat build up can destroy seals and bearings so they are only good for filling one airgun at a time. These are not built to fill a large tank. Some mechanical know how will be needed down the road as with all mechanical things they do require maintenance. There are some good videos out there show how to rebuild these and other similar compressors. The small portables are all similarly.
      Hope this helps.

    Looks like you can get a good deal on this model. What has changed on the new replacement for this model? it looks identical except it has no fan switch button. The manufacturer says it has a new internal structure but that's all they say. I would be interested to know BEFORE I BUY (just like your video title says!)

      I wouldn't mind having that answer as well. There are two nearly identical 4500 psi pcp units available and as a newbie I cannot identify the real difference and or advantage of one over the other.

      I have not. This model might be able to do it, however it isn’t built like others or have the addition cooling features. More of a airgun filler vs large tank.

    Can a large Craftsman compressor fill a pcp tank to 4500 psi/

    • @AirgunAdvisor
      @AirgunAdvisor  Месяц назад +1

      Common question for those just starting in the world of pcp airguns. Unfortunately they cannot. Your home shop compressor will only go up to around 150psi whereas specialized scuba compressor can supply pressurized air up to 4500 psi.
