I bought one of these and this was my experience with it. I direct filled rifle tanks without issues never more than once every half hour. When I started to fill SCBA tanks that did not go so well. I ran it straight for about 20 to 30 minutes and that melted the 2nd stage piston rings and no longer could get past 3000 psi just like that. I contacted VEVOR via online only and followed instructions and answered all questions, within a few weeks VEVOR sent me out 2 new sets of 2nd stage piston rings free of charge. I installed new piston rings, and the compressor is now working properly again. 1st stage rings were fine. To VEVOR, I recommend that an extra 2nd stage piston ring set should come with unit as mine did not, this would have left me more satisfied with this purchase and reduced stress. To users if filling tanks, I would not run straight, I don’t know what the magic number is, but run to long and it will melt down no matter what you do. Some say 20 minutes, I will never run more than 10 minutes myself between cool down periods is my plan going forward and no more tanks for this one. Also, this is not a “Yong Heng” and parts are not the same. Parts for this one must go through VEVOR. Patients is a virtue here, Ha.
I just bought one and it is a updated version with auto shut off. My luck that the shutdown doesn't matter since the compressor is locked up and won't start. Yes I followed the instructions and even ordered Amsoil compressor oil and filled it before trying to start for the first time. Have filled out warranty on line and also contacted Vevor by chat and email. Haven't received any confirmations of replacement or any thing so far. I don't know exactly what to do at this point. This is the first thing I have bought from Vevor that has a problem. It is also the most expensive thing from them I have. I'm disappointed that they haven't responded more quickly and positively. When I first ordered it they were out of stock. Then a couple days later it was in stock. I'm thinking it is a returned unit from someone and they just shipped it to me. Now I see they have at least 3 newer designs available and I don't know how I missed seeing them when I ordered this one.
@ ya those compressors are touchy. I use a CS2 100% now. I bought a rebuild kit as well so I am feel like I am set now. Only fill rifles as needed, no tanks.
First I was a bit skeptical about the additional metal sheet cover on the front but then from the known failure in other brand Yong heng I realized this metal cover actually act as a safety sheald in case of something flying around so it's not bad to have some additional safty.
I own one of these compressors and aftera few years it started leaking air into the upper cylinder water cooling jacket. Tried to use vevor customer servive to buy repair parts. I gave the customer service all the information I had about the unit as there is no model number or serial # on the pump. I even sent them a link to their website showing the pump. I was told they could not confirm my pump without an order number. I bought the pump through Walmart so I dont have an order number. Customer service went round in circles about the order number that I told them I didnt have till I gave up. Now I own a useless 25 lb vevor paper weight. My advice to all is dont buy from vevor you will regret it in time!!!
Nice presentation as always. I had a Hill compressor and after 2 returns for repair (leaking, no pressure built) I sent it back for refund. Depending on how intensive the individual shooting with airguns is, I recommend to invest into an high quality compressor. Since I have a Bauer Pe 100Tw there are no issues anymore. It fills the bottles very quick without having the need to cool with water (Hill is also air cooled I know). The air is also already filtered and dry.
Great review 👌 This looks actually nicer than the original (Yong Heng). My Yong Heng is on its third year now. Change oil every ~1 hour or when the oil starts to turn grey. Add a an additional desiccant filter.
Yes indeed it looks nice . Mine has run now for about 3u and works very good . After the video I changed the first oil as it turned grey but now still looks pretty transparent
I just ordered this compressor. It's just difficult to find the right adapters to connect it to a DIN scuba tank. I see many DIN 300 bar to 8mm quickconnect adapters with manometer included, but i believe the 300 bar DIN connection is different from the 200 bar connection. I asked the ebay seller about it... waiting for response from them.
I'm curious to know if this Vevor branded compressor has the same high pressure piston as the Yong Heng. The Yong Heng has a brass piston (with 3 o-rings) recessed into the large low pressure piston vs clones have a aluminum piston with one cup seal butted up against the low pressure piston. Would you mind taking a look inside?
I would no, not the same. I melted my 2nd stage piston rings down in two weeks of use so i got a look at them. There are not split rings, they are thinner that Young Heng that i can see, the intire 2nd stage piston is different shape and contours. I am desparretly looking to soucre new ring direct from somewhere as thius will be an ongoing issue i am sure. These are like a plastic ring with no ring gap or split.
Make a connection to the tap and just run cold water through the pump then out the drain. It costs a nickel but it cools better and eliminates a failure point.

Do not use tap water as a coolant! Tap water in many areas contain metal ions. It will corrode your compressor·s aluminum head .use the car coolant and put in a bucket. You can also add ice cubes isolate from coolant in the bucket, or install a water tank cooling device.

Yeah, it’s like how a cars engines cooled But instead of coolant its water it’s like the best way. these things get extremely hot. you really should use a bucket of ice water. Thats what I’ve seen others do.
It's just a Yong Heng with a different body and a different name... They have more advanced models. I have one, bought in China: it works very, very well ...But , It is preferable to install large water/oil filters .
The Yong Heng had been copied many times , some come even out of the same factory 😉 . So no copyright stuff etc . It is just a good machine at such a low price point
i am YONGHENG importer from south africa .I saw many people say it was Yongheng's machine. Just install a different shell. But the fact is no It`s just a copy of YONGHENG .I don't comment on its quality. Please check the local Yongheng price before buying it. If you spend more money to buy a copy, it will be a big mistake
You are correct, YONGHENG is the birth machine and many others copy it . But I have heard and seen rumors that they even get build in the same factories copy or not 🤷♂️
I would have to pass because the price seems too good to be true and there is no dealer network to fix it. The Umarex ReadyAir was my last cheap compressor purchase. When it dies again, I'm buying a real compressor.
You should NOT stop the compressor before releasing the screws on the side. Add one way valve on the tank side, then close the tank valve, release the pump screws to release the pressure inside and then switch off the pump.

In basic I think it’s exactly the same machine with a different shell
.muy buen video. Saludos 👍👍👏👏🇦🇷
shame you cant get this in the UK
It's just a Yong Heng with a different body and a different name... They have more advanced models. I have one, bought in China: it works very, very well ...But , It is preferable to install large water/oil filters .
No its not. It's a copy.
The Yong Heng had been copied many times , some come even out of the same factory 😉 . So no copyright stuff etc . It is just a good machine at such a low price point
It's a rebranded yong heng with some advancements I would almost bet that Parts would interchange
@@AirRuna1 yes I would think so to , there a a few like this out there
All aparts are not the same, 2nd stage piston rings are different.
i am YONGHENG importer from south africa .I saw many people say it was Yongheng's machine. Just install a different shell. But the fact is no
It`s just a copy of YONGHENG .I don't comment on its quality. Please check the local Yongheng price before buying it.
If you spend more money to buy a copy, it will be a big mistake
You are correct, YONGHENG is the birth machine and many others copy it . But I have heard and seen rumors that they even get build in the same factories copy or not 🤷♂️
You are correct, was a big mistake!
I want that tool but don't have the money
I would have to pass because the price seems too good to be true and there is no dealer network to fix it. The Umarex ReadyAir was my last cheap compressor purchase. When it dies again, I'm buying a real compressor.
Ya all the parts are not same as yong heng, if it burns up you must have patients for VEVOR for parts.
You should NOT stop the compressor before releasing the screws on the side. Add one way valve on the tank side, then close the tank valve, release the pump screws to release the pressure inside and then switch off the pump.
Amen ✨️
@@Bulu2898 ?
Regarding the bleeding off .
I also have the EC3000 and stops at 300bar automatically ( some budget friendly ones do that aswel ) keeping the system under pressure just like shutting the comp off before closing the valve .
I have done it like this and never had any issues 🤷♂️
@@Airbuks you wont have an issue, you only decrease pump's life. This what I have heard from the engineers refurbishing those pumps and am only sharing it 😊
The new Hill EC3000 Evo has an automatic pressure purge for that purpose, even at cooling down stages.
La zona de alta presion nada tiene que ver con la del YonG Heng, es totalmente diferente, el sistema de valvulas es diferente, se parece mas al Tuxing. Y no tienen recambios.
Better buy a jong heng. This copy is not in balance. I can see it walking of your table.
It does vibrate , but the walking around isn’t a issue as my table top is very smooth and slippery. Now I have a simple doormat underneath and doesn’t move at all
Can't imagine any sane scuba diver willing to breathe air produced from this compressor.
Also the spec's says 220V, most people don't have a 220 receptacle in their house.
Hi , the air isn’t good for scuba diving and I never said so 😉 this is pure for paintball and pcp shooting. There is also a 110v model I believe. 220v is the standard in my country
Good compressor
Stay away from vevor junk save your money
No direct parts availabilty, such a bummer. Would be easy to fix.
